Nineteen is no age...

“Light and darkness?” Corvus initially seemed puzzled by the words but knelt on the ground and placed her hand in the space where the brick used to be. It was about two bricks deep. She closed her eyes and connected to the Force and…

She pulled her hand out and rubbed it, as if she’d received an electric shock. “Temptation is right,” she said absent-mindedly, still rubbing her hand. “I think someone has been here. Someone I know. Or rather I don’t know very well but that I know of.” The fact she was talking in riddles hadn’t occurred to her. Because Corvus felt the aura of her little sister, she’d felt the same back on Corellia. And she sensed great joy also.

“Something was hidden here and now it’s gone. The question is, what was it?” Corvus was suddenly aware she had company. “Sorry Moira, but your insight was invaluable there. Someone came here recently, before we reclaimed the Academy I suspect and removed the brick and whatever was behind it. But I’m sure if I ask, I might be able to find out what.”

Corvus put her hands in her pockets. “Right, lets get you settled in, tomorrow we’re going to have a picnic.”

She smiled as she watched her inspect the space. "Allow me to see your lightsaber again."

She was quick to request it. She had an idea of what it could be. "You said Luke was here... Right? There is more to this riddle than meets the eye, but we may have a small answer right now. Based on research I had done, Luke had a powerful lightsaber that was sought by many. What if Luke had left a clue for us, the Order? Or possibly even left his lightsaber for a new grand master. There are many ideas. We will know more if I test my theory and it works out. Then we will know someone stole it from the true owner of the lightsaber, whomever is the grand master now. Who is the grand master, anyways? There were a couple Council members that were absent."

Corvus handed over her saber. "The space there wasn't big enough for a saber hilt, but you're right, it may have been a clue left behind. But I'm sure I have the means to find the answer to the contents by a more straightforward method. And as to who is the current GrandMaster, well that's me." She smiled, not realising she hadn't mentioned this before - but then, she never did.

Moira smiled. She looked at the space closer. "It was removed by a lightsaber. That much I can tell. It has the scorch marks, and a plasma torch couldn't be as precise or cut through this stone." She inspected it and put her hand inside the hole, and felt around. "We would have to remove the whole centerpiece figure out what it may have been. This entire centerpiece is a major clue, and the missing stones are another piece... Perhaps there was a special jewel held here, or something."

Corvus admired Moira's tenacity and so allowed her free reign to explore her thoughts as to what and who caused the gap.

"Carry on, tell me what you think and what you need me to do." Maybe they could solve the riddle without her having to ask the likely culprit's Master.

"Oh, nevermind." She said as she stood and handed the lightsaber back to her master. "We can always look at it later." Her lips curled to a smile. "What shall we do now, master?" She asked with a bit of joy.

She looked around. "When do I craft my own lightsaber? I have a couple ideas of what I want the hilt to look like."

Corvus laughed at her Padawan's exuberance. "OK, first thing's first. We need to get you settled in," Corvus indicated they should return to the Academy and started to walk in that direction. "I've arranged a picnic for tomorrow that I expect you to attend, and you can meet some fellow Padawans. At that point we can discuss lessons and if you have specific ideas for your saber, I'd love to hear about them them there."

As they entered the Academy, Corvus waved a Padawan over. She bowed to the Twi'lek, "Padawan Gorah, please show Moira to the living quarters and show her where she can collect new robes and where the canteen is." She turned back to Moira. "I have a lesson now, so relax, use the library if you wish and I'll see you tomorrow. It's good to have you here and I look forward to our lessons." She smiled and bowed again before rushing off to teach some Younglings about astrophysics.

Before Corvus left, Moira bowed to her and then to the other padawan. "Yes master. I'll make sure to get myself well acquainted with the academy." She followed the Twi'lek who had been appointed as her escort to the quarters. Moira had carried a fairly heavy footlocker, filled with clothing, training blades and blasters, even her favorite swords. Her favorite swords were the Short Tremor Sword and Ryyk Blade given to her by a friend who had no children, and she was asked to take them and continue the legacy to continue Her legacy before she died.

These weapons tied her to Onderon... More specifically Iziz City, the capital city of the war torn world. They met in Iziz during a job to hunt the same targets, and since they had traveled together. To both of them, Onderonians were snobbish and stuck up. The environment of the cities was relatively stuffy as well.
