- Force Affinity: The robes are designed with Force-infused materials that imbue the Jedi wearing them with the ability to better resist the Dark Side's influence. It also increases their ability to focus with the Force, easing access to learned Force powers and skills.
- Tutaminis: The material can absorb energy, such as that produced by heat, electricity, fire, plasma and the Force, and feed it into the Jedi's body and mind, revitalizing them. This is not a passive ability, but must be deliberately tapped into by the wearer, requiring concentration. It cannot be done in the middle of a fight.
- Self Repairing: The fabric has the ability to repair itself over time, with minor damage repairing within a few minutes to hours and larger sections of the robes requiring days to mend.
- Gadgets: Various tools and gadgets are included with the robes, though these are more vulnerable to attack, cannot self-repair, and if featuring electronics require a power source in order to function.
- Waterproof: The fabric has been treated so that it will not retain water (and become heavy) when submerged.

As a reward for her help escaping from the Jedi Temple, Thelma made gifts for each of the people involved in her rescue. For Nine Lives, she made a set of custom robes. Thelma used a new material produced for her by Sasori to make the robes. Its imbuement granted the final product many benefits for the wearer.
