New World, New Life...Or Not

Aboard the large space freighter was cargo of all different kinds, ranging from blasters to armour, from spice to every day condiments this large ship also carried people. No one special however, just people who had paid their ways off the planet the ship was docked at previously, Tobasu was such a person. Ever since his own ship crash landed a few months ago now this was the only means of transportation from planet to planet and after spending a full week on the ice rock, Hoth he defiantly needed a change of scene. There was no job at all, Tobasu just wanted to relax, to get away from everything. The jedi he meet on Hoth, she was a interesting girl, images of her pristine skin and brunette hair still clouded his mind. The words she spoke to him, flooded all of his senses as if she had casted a spell on him, the idea of being force sensitive was still some make believe story to him.

The freighter landed into the ports of its next stop, Bastion, where the imperial achieves were found long ago. Looking out the window he saw multitudes of people, doing their jobs as pilots, guards, and even Tobasu could spot out the smugglers amongst the civilians. Putting on the black hood to his cloak he made his way through the ship a ironclad human guarded the exit bay prompting Tobasu not to move, he still hadn't paid for the trip. He gave a withering smile and handed the credits owed over. He nodded and the man in the suit stepped aside, the doors to the freighter releasing pressured air as it swung downwards resting on the ground below. Making his way down the ramp, four guards approached him.

"Halt! You are required to come with us for a random inspection."

"Why? What brings you to me out of all the others here?" He replied calmly.

"There is no need to be alarmed sir, it will only take a few moments."

"Fine..."
Grumbling, Tobasu didn't refuse, being escorted by the guards was something uncommon, this was a scenario he had never experienced before. Making his way to the Bastion customs headquarters he was detained in a force cage much to Tobasu's dismay. "You got to be kidding me, I haven't done anything."

Bellowing out so he could attract the guards, in which he did being told to shut up before the captain came, but it was too late. "We have received some Intel about you, Mr. Tobasu. Sources say you are involved with the duros smuggling syndicate."

You got be bloody kidding me, he thought. Who would of ratted him out? So many names crossed his mind, he was trying to put together an acute hypothesis on who would of done this, yet no names came to mind. Yet he laughed, Tobasu of course would plead his innocence he wasn't going to go to jail, or anything worse especially on such a planet located in the outer rim. "Maybe you should get accurate information before you accuse someone, captain."

The captain scrunched up his face in disgust, he was adamant this man was guilty, Tobasu could read him. His eyes stared down the crimson pupils of his own, Tobasu's large orbs raging with displeasure at the current times as the captain stood his ground but finally backed away, speaking in a bellowing tone. "Have it your way, until we sort this out you will be detained here."

Sorry about the post if its no good, I suck at opening lel.

Kara moved through the halls of the Imperial Palace based upon Bastion. While no longer her planet, she still had a high standing with the officials there, and the military were loyal to the bone. Truth be told Kara was only here to sort out a handful of last minute transitions, her ascension to Sith Lady having been abrupt, unexpected and largely unplanned, meaning there were still things to move, duties to reassign and a new governor to appoint... Although admittedly the latter was not her duty, she felt like it was due all the same. Shame about the last Governor... 'Killing' him had been fun, at least staging it. To this day only Valik knew that the man had been kept alive, for her own business.

Her new home, Felucia, was a stark contrast to this pristine military planet, with its swamps and odd fauna, yet she liked it; the mossy scent, the shaded areas beneath the growing fungi, it was an apt place for corruption to grow. And I have two corrupted to raise. A brother and a would-be-son, she had not yet gauged how they felt about each other's presence's. But it did not matter, for in the end they would behave themselves or face the repercussions. Order, even amidst the chaotic Sith I crave it. Kara was just about to step up into the Palace Courtyard when her commlink went off. Begrudgingly she took it up to see who required her attention.

After a short exchange she was on her way again, swiftly stepping down onto the arid landscape away from the Palace, moving off to Customs. Last time I was sent here I met a brother, what now? The men of Bastion still deemed Kara of vast importance upon this planet, she had shaped them and their system from the ruin it had been to something far greater, a pinnacle for the next Governor to perfect. As such it was not completely out of the blue for her to be called out like this.

Her short venture ended at the offices, where several guards stood. They lowered their heads and enacted a salute in her direction before stepping aside. "He's inside" one of them stated, but who he was she had no idea. Moving inside she found that one of the force cages were occupied, and a small frown appeared upon her lips.

"Who is this?"

A yawn escaped followed by a small sigh, when was this to end? Moments ended up being hours or at least it felt like hours. One couldn't really tell how fast time went by when you had no room to move around. These cages were cruel, he hated being imprisoned in one. He felt empty still however, the girl on Hoth confused him, she was wrong to question his morals but now he started questioning himself, something he had never done before. Doubt plagued his mind and his eyes showed the conflicted nature within him. Another sigh escaped his lips as he waited....And waited.

Yet it would finally be time to leave, when he could hear the brief footsteps of guards around the corner. He then saw her, a girl who would be only a few years older than himself approach. Her voice spoke with power, her presence radiated domination. This lady must of been of authority because she made the guards stick their heads between their legs, it was an amusing sight to behold. He chuckled, eyes of self-doubt turning to curiosity as large crimson orbs gazed at women. Yet before even Tobasu could introduce himself to this person the guard intruded. "He's with that smuggling crew my lady, the duros one..."

This was true, however he had killed them all months ago, taking over their buisness as his own, he worked solo now yet no one knew that...Tobasu snarled back, eyes flickered with rage, "Don't listen to the crap he says, I have been falsely imprisoned now tell your lackeys to get me out of here."

He would prompt his innocence yet again.

He demanded freedom, his ignorance to the unknown lady would be high, he didn't care who she was however she was just another person. The guard however didn't appreciate the tone of voice he gave, snapping back he threatened to overload the force cages, saying no one would miss scum such as Tobasu. And yet he laughed, this wasn't the first time he has had his life threatened, and surely it wouldn't be the last but if this customs guard had the balls to kill him, then great do it he thought. The nihilistic view on life grew day by and eventually it would consume his being, Tobasu got worse and it was evident, willing to throw his life away just like that really made the guard think. "What do I do? Can I just kill him? No one will care."

The guard questioned the lady, unsure of what exactly should he do. He was willing to kill the prisoner however he wanted to make sure it was ok with his superiors, or that's what Tobasu assumed. The feeling of emptiness, of the abyss surrounded Tobasu unknowingly, radiating off like an energy of sorts, filling the room up with such a depressing feeling. The hysterical laughter stopped and his face was back to stone as if he wasn't feeling anything but rather forcing the reaction out. Tobasu was changing, he knew it, people around him knew it and honestly change was good, a belief of his was that if you can change you will become strong, a lesson his father taught him, maybe the only lesson he would ever remember.

"Just get me out of here." Another demand...

The woman glanced between the pair of them before frowning heavily. Her eyes narrowed upon the boy behind the bars and for a long time nothing was said - silence simply stretched on until it became almost awkward, the air thick enough to cut so to speak. Then she finally said "There is no Crew by such a name" and when the guard made a move to correct her she lifted a hand. From where he stood he was dragged over to her, with an unseen force, and his neck ended up within her grasp. "Do not question my word" she hissed into his ear, before dropping the man to the floor.

Then her gaze snapped to the boy, "And make no demands." However she did step closer to the cage and, with a wave of her hand, the cell door opened. "With me." Kära doubted he would run at this stage, after all she had just bailed him and he had no reason to flee now there was no guard begging for his life to be taken. Should he try to flee, however, Kära would simply drag him back with the aid of a Force pull, rendering his attempts useless. She could sense the Force Sensitivity within him, but also his inexperience. It wasn't difficult to pick up on a new student... And that's exactly what he had just become.

Finally she wandered off, expecting him to follow her as she ventured out into Bastion where one of her ships was preparing to leave. It was time for her to return to Felucia, and again she was not empty handed.
