Faction New Group Created - The Je'daii Academy

Mariya Fleischer has created a new group called The Je'daii Academy.

The Je’daii Academy is a place of learning. While it is primarily based on the teachings of the Je’daii Order, the Academy welcomes all students regardless of their beliefs. The Je'daii Order saw the Force as three aspects of a whole; the Ashla (Light), the Bogan (Dark), and the Bendu (balance). Achieving Bendu was the key to understanding the workings of the Force, an aim which the Academy hopes to teach to its students.

The Academy is located on Odessen, a planet that has a strong connection to the Force. Thousands of years ago, Odessen had been seen the likes of Jedi Grand Master Satele Shan, Sith Lord Lana Beniko and the Eternal Throne gracing their presence. The ancient ruins from these legends provide learning and academic field trips for the Je’daii.

The Academy prides itself in providing knowledge that is more than just the Force, including areas in science, technology, martial arts and forging of metals. Non Force users are welcome to join and pick up a relevant course or classes offered by the various colleges.

The Jedi and the Sith both originate from the Je’daii, and there have been varying versions of the Jedi Code and the Sith Code (sometimes known as Qotsisajak). Both sets of Code are deemed to paint an incomplete picture of the Force, as the Light must co-exist with the Dark. Such is the nature and order of the universe, where various shades of grey and morality exist. For the Je’daii, nothing is greater more than the pursuit of knowledge.

The Academy models itself after the original Je’daii Temples in Tython, represented by nine individual colleges. When a student joins the Academy, he or she is given freedom to pursue any of the classes taught by the colleges in any order. This pursuit of knowledge is known as the Great Journey or the Trials of the Je’daii.

Non Force users are allowed to join any of the classes offered by the Academy. They will not be expected to become a Je'daii or undergo the Trials.
