House Serenno is the ruling family of planet Serenno, the planet itself named in honor of their predecessors after unifying the planet's great noble houses to cast out the Sith in the days prior to the Galactic Republic. The descendants of what is truly the greatest of Serenno's noble houses have ruled over the planet as Regent and Count for well over three-thousand consecutive years. The reformation of House Serenno took place following the planet's absorption into the modern Sith Empire, the outcome of which led to their traditional station to be elevated further. No longer the Count and Regent, the patriarch of House Serenno was henceforth inaugurated as King of the Royal House of Serenno.
Once rumored to be one of the most wealthiest and powerful families in the galaxy, the Great House of Serenno has never been represented as close to those anecdotes in reality than it is in present. After a period of stagnation over the past century, with the lesser families such as House Malvern assuming control of their birthright, the Royal House of Serenno under the leadership of the Dookus' -- the sole continuation of the Serenno line -- have overseen a resurgence of both the House and Planet which bears its namesake. A golden age of prosperity and high culture followed this momentous turn of events, culminating in the Serenno-Dooku line reaching the zenith of its influence. -
