New Business

Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist

Shri-Tal was a beautiful place and they were doing a lot of work on the current projects they were doing, a number of them producing more then others had been able to see in time and with the crystal caves here on the planet and on the moon it was a great way to further enhance and add to the production of the different special saber crystals they had been developing. From soul trap to tutaminis crystals that would serve a purpose. She was looking over all of it from the building they had been upgrading as some of the new pieces of technology and force enhanced equipment were on display with people working to sell to the others. They were providing a service here on the planet and were practically in control of the market district around the Imperial city. High buildings of shops where different foods, equipment and a number of things were sold as the jedi master was waiting for the business meeting. This was an interesting stake to have in some of the things, Sasori was able to compete with a number of them when they were going forward with getting new things to the people. The living and farming modules made it easier and much like the reconstruction that had happened on Denon here on Shri-Tal she had worked with the Emperor to get him to implement these changes. Massive changes that were making the world cleaner and safer compared to many of the things and all of those tunnels down below honeycombing the world were being converted into a massive series of homes, businesses and they would have everything as above so below before she went back to her seat to wait for the one who had given her a rather large order to arrive.

Warren Zimmer was new to this world, and had recently arrived. Given he had a ship that was custom designed for his own use, Warren had arrived on this world. Examining the world, he noticed the place was beautiful. The world itself was normal and beautiful at the same time. Knowing that he had business here, Warren headed to the base of Sasori Research and Design. Using a Taxi service on the world, he'd head over to the location where they had their man base on the world.

There, he smiled. Going up to the door he knocked on the place.

The knock came and Matsu was looking over at the door while she motioned for the droid to open the door and she was there with a small tight lipped smile on her face. "Welcome to Shri-Tal and one of the homes of Sasori." After the rather unique orer he had placed it gave her a lot of work to do and things to think about but they worked to stay focused and ready for any of the things. With a small look on her face the jedi master offered the seat across from her prepared to work out some of the details on things. She was looking to see what could be offered fom it while they were moving forward and some cups of tea were produced from the Joshu converter for her.

Warren sat down, and took the cup of tea when offered. "So you wish to buy Century Technological Advancement Enterprises from me. Why is that?" He asked her, curious. It was also a bit concerning because no one normally wanted to even invest lately in well any of the CTAE products. "Your planet of Shri-Tal is very beautiful, I must say. I'd love to get CTAE off of Tatooine and well anywhere but there to be completely honest. " His eyes would turn to the paperwork once they both had cups of tea. "So what's your sales pitch, IE why should I sell you Century Technological Advancement Enterprises?"

She was watching him with a raised eyebrow and why snatch up and buy one of the smaller companies? It might not have the reources of Sasori or its number of companies but it had some access to places they weren't in the market with yet and he was mostly ambitious. So how to approach a sales pitch for such a company? Matsu sat there and moved one hand over when she was looking over some of the things with her attention on the different parts. Bringing up one of the aurodium ingots they had and could get from the many mines they had. "Well I do have access to a lot and with Sasori being one of the largest miners of aurodium I can buy and sell the larger corporations across the galaxy. This one little ingot is worth enough to easily buy your company ten fold. The resources we have for construction can come in handy as well making new things."

Impressive. The mining resources alone would mean that CTAE needn't worry about material acquisitions for a long time, given the capabilities of Sasori. This impressed him. Reaching out with the Force, Warren attempted to feel how powerful she was in the Force. Warren actually smiled. She was certainly a nice individual. As he sipped the wonderful tea, he decided he'd have to get the recipe from her of the tea. "Very well, but I retain influence in the company." Warren then said to her. "Since I've also noticed you're a LOT stronger in the Force than I am, I also require someone to train me. Preferably you, if you've learned a lot of differing force techniques. So how do we do this? Do I sign some paperwork, and the company switches hands....or?"

Well that was fast but she could work with that while looking at him and she had expected some back and forth but this was just as good when she was going over the deal and everything in her mind. Prepared to work on the things they had before she was turning to see him there. "Well I can train you if that is the thing you want. Just sign here." She brought up the datapad with the information on it and he could maintain within the company, she'd just assign Kyoko here to work on things and oversee it as Sasori's operator in the place. "And do stay we don't gut a company, instead we offer incentives to keep on working for it. There wll just be a little change over and Kyoko will be one of the operators to coordinate with for training and information."

Warren Century nodded, and after examining the various documents that he was supposed to read provided his autograph to them. The documents looked to be in order, and provided him advantages he'd not otherwise have. Having Sasori as a benefactor was more than worth any prices that Sasori would likely demand. With that in mind after signing the various contracts he asked. "So where do we begin?" He asked, to the lady he was talking to.

Looking at him as she made sure the documents were in order and sent for records. A hardcopy and everything else they might need could be handled before she was moving out from behind her desk ready. "Well that really depands on where you want to start. Training in the force is not something quick and easy. It requires years of hardwork and dedication to learn the skills. I am not certain what you have been taught already."

"Well so far, I've learned some of how to wield a light-saber, as witnessed when I ordered four of them from you. So far I've got two of the blast-sabers which will really come in handy for future projects and also because few Jedi or Sith expect such weapons to be used against them." He'd pause for a moment. "I've also studied some elemental force powers on my own, I'm still learning how to do them and I've pretty much mastered Force Telekinesis, that is Force Push and Force Pull are an easy thing for me to do. I'll leave where I go from there up to you. I do know I need to eventually reach the level of a master even though I'll not join any of the Force User Factions. "

She was looking at him with a raised eyebrow, ordering and holding a saber didn't mean you were able to use it. A padawan was able to hold a saber and carry it around but they rarely compared to a master in terms of knowledge when it came to the combat skills a jedi master was able to use. The woman waited though to hear his skills and it was not much. "One important lesson is abilities are never mastered, there is always a newer level, a stronger person able to use the ability or who has used the ability. it is one of the first things the jedi are taught." She moved over and was looking over the screens of the production facilities they had while nodding her approval to the droids about some fo the things they were working on.

Warren nodded. "My training has only truly began... then. I've got a long way to go before I can count myself worthy of the title of "Master" or even "Knight" despite being unaffiliated with any of the factions of Force Users out there, actually." Warren paused for a moment as he thought about what she said. If she was right he had a long way to go in the Force and truly his lessons had only just began. Warren smiled at her for a moment. "So what will be my first lesson, Master?"

She listened to him and where to start, given he wasn't a jedi well her knowledge base and skills were very different. She preferred training jedi as it meant tey could have at least the basic understanding of what she is saying about power and knowing how to control it and themselves. Others generally chose to ignore that and use knowledge in dangerous ways that could harm others and she tapped a finger to the side of of leg. "We'll start with the basics and move on from there, as you do not serve the jedi or have the general understanding of their control it will hamper any training. That I do not teach anything of the darkside will also not help leaving you with a very narrow area of focus and a lot of the force tech that has been constructed for use fro Sasori will actually make you sick.

Warren nodded. So she would teach him only the arts of the Jedi? He could live with that he supposed because there was no rule that said he had to have only one instructor in the arts of the Force, right? Of course not! Warren then smiled. "Alright, let's start with the basics, and work our way up." He said with a grin on his face because now he could begin his efforts to master the force, and learn more about it. Later on he planned on inventing a way to amplify the Force Energies inside of his body. The Force was like a muscle, so he was going to make sure he could use it plenty.

They couldn't do anything in this office building it was designed to sell not test, matsu started leading the way through and going to the lower levels that connected to the different tunnels that were being reconstructed it allowed them to work on even more of the sections. Large open caves that were filled with lights from the new glow rods they had designed that would last thanks to their energy recycling almost forever or close enough to it. She herself got to change and was wearing a more traditional robe now... Well the robes of the Qel-Droma family a gift she had been able to get from them with her own synthmeshed outer robe that gleamed silver and pulsed with the lightside of the force. The synthmesh could easily resist the lightsabers and with her sigil on it the force she could make a barrier to nullify so not real worried about that when she could train the boy. The other thing she needed while standing there was her weapon as it was brought to her. Fresh from the reforging process with the new synthmesh, the silvery glow of songsteel and the desh-terethium mesh. Made it super lightweight, able to react to the darkside with a glow when they were near and most important it was attuned to her within the force allowing her to channel the energies through the blades in the middle where she could unleash it in a crescent arc of force light. "Whenever yu are ready show me what you have learned.

Following her to the area where they were going to train, he'd nod. With that he'd start to concentrate and think. Which force power should he hit her with first? Deciding to practice one of the non-traditional abilities of the Force he started to manipulate the air in the room, using it to hopefully send a 'fist' of pressurized air to smash into her. It wasn't ever something he had done before, so Warren half believed such a thing was actually going to fail. However he knew he needed to practice with his abilities and get himself up to the levels of the Force he should have. Well not should, but needed. He needed to be master level eventually.

"Alright, Master Ike."

She was watching him ready for anything, prepared even to see something or feel it but then there was another sensation and she was shifting her stance. The breeze turning with her as he went for air shaping? Her eyes looked at him with a little surprise but not much as it was raw and very unrefined compared to what she knew she could do or several of her students. She stayed with him and was moving with the air as he attacked or tried to already letting her feet move her to the side in a circular motion when she could match his air shaping while leaving her sword on her hip in its wooden sheath with a small look to lock and narrow her eyes on the boy but was spinning and moving the air for herself to meet him on semi equal ground.

As she shifted and moved the air, Warren frowned. She could do airshaping too? He had to really bring his skills up to the level that they needed to be at. For that to happen, he had to train under her and refine his skills with the Force. "Impressive that you can manipulate the air as well...." said Warren. "So [member="Matsu Ike"], what's my first lesson Master?" Warren had other force powers that he'd not yet demonstrated to her yet.

Matsu looked at him while she was moving. "Well the first lesson is to shape the air you cannot stand still. That is one of the reasons why you can barely muter it. Air shaping is about movement, about using the rotation of your body to build power and energy that you can unleash. The constant state of movement also allows you to dodge and avoid attacks, turning and twisting in careful motions that are chaotic and random to the eye but for you can be like the gusts of the air." He seemed impatient, another big thing was this wasn't instant.... she had spent years since she was a small child learning and practicing. Over four decades of her life by now to get where she is.

"So moving around is a key to air-shaping. Noted. I'll be sure to remember that." Warren then started channeling Force energies into his arms, to shoot Force Shock at her but stopped himself. It was a dark side power and he couldn't allow himself to rely on the power of the dark side, not yet. There had to be more to the Force than the various sides, but he needed to broaden his knowledge. "Is there a Lightside equivalent to Force Lightning?" asked Warren, curiously. "Well Master [member="Matsu Ike"]?"
