New Blood found in the Stars

His eyes ran over the walls of the spaceport as he smiled up at it. The planet was having a spike in commercial travel and economic growth and with that the amount of ships coming to kesh increased beyond expectation. He was happy to see his people having such a growth but he watched this for one reason and that was simple. He had to make sure that with this growth no one took advantage of his people and smuggled products onto the planet like spice. What he would come to find was something completely unexpected today.

His brown hair was kept, his eyes ringed by a pair of glasses and his mouth curved into a smile as he checked the manifest for anything out of the ordinary. He wore his trenchcoat and blasters, nothing more or less as he did not expect there to be anyone stupid enough to attack him. He was enjoying the day and the last ship he had to check was infront of him. Time to see what it was to come.

Quincy ducked her way into a crate containing large amounts of floral life. She was hidden in there pretty well with the bright flowers and her bright red hoodie and dark composure. Though the contrast of her sleeve could give her away if anyone were to actually go digging through the crates. It was cramped, albeit a quick plan change than hanging out in the luggage compartment of a freighter. The only issue she was really having was her allergies to the pollen inside the crate. She let out a soft sneeze and quickly covered her mouth worried someone might have heard her. 'Oh god, I hope no one heard that! The last thing I need is getting caught in another strange planet.' She though to herself with her eyes growing large.

Solan was walking right by the crate, he would have checked it anyways for any spice or hidden substances but for a moment he assumed something worse. He assumed that someone was trying to smuggle a slave or smuggle someone off the planet to be a slave. Thank the force it would not be that in the end but for a moment he stared at the crate before moving to open it up without realizing that Quincy was the very person he heard and his hands searching the outside of it for an opening.

Once he found the line that signaled the opening he pulled and spoke, warning whoever inside it was ok. "Hello? Its ok im here to help you..." He didn't realize Quincy was the one that was smuggling herself onto the planet and he waited to see for himself who it was contained in the crate, his eyes peering into the crate with a surprised look from behind the glasses that he wore.

Quincy braced her legs on the bottom of the crate and readied her arms to throw up as much flowers into the air as possible. She waited for the seal to be broken and when it did she head a voice that made her second guess her actions. She maintained eye contact with him for a good three seconds before springing out of the box launching floral decor all over the place and she took off running away from the man into an alley way pulling flowers from her hair and her hood as she sprinted away. "You can help by not following!." She called out before ducking behind some trash cans out of the mans view.

He blinked and stared off as he brushed his clothes off as the floral decor was shot all over the place. Really, come now, why did people never just stay put and talk when they were caught red handed. They never got away and today would be no different than any other time. So when she yelled out that it would help by not following, he just had to. So his smile was aimed at an attendant who he gave the manifest and nodded to him. "Do continue checking the crates, im going to see what we have here in terms of our flower covered friend." He smiled and started running in the direction she had started off in, he would make sure that this woman was ok, and after that he would find out why she was inside a crate.

She chuckled lightly as she crawled her way into a small vent, being as tiny and flexible as she was really made it easy. Well it did until she realized that she gotten stuck halfway through leaving her legs wide out. Thats when she just about gave up on trying to run and started calling for help. "Help! Im stuck! Can anyone help me get out? I'll pay in credits!" Though she was flat broke and was going to run as soon as she got unstuck. Her legs thrashed around outside the vent creating a lot of noise. She is getting pretty bad at smuggling herself into new planets.

He stared at the scene and had to keep himself from laughing as he found her yelling with her body stuck halfway in the vent. He sighed and knelt down before speaking. "You know, i just wanted to talk and you didn't have to go and get yourself half stuck in the vent all over simply not liking conversation." He leaned against the wall with the vent and spoke still, "How about this, you take some time to talk with me and tell me why you were in that crate, and ill pull you out. Deal?" He looked over to the vent with her half in it, awaiting her response as to if she would make the deal with him over talking.

Quincy sighed as she heard the voice of the man from earlier. "What do you want to know..." She said with a defeated tone in her voice and her legs went limp and an audible thunk was heard as she hit head head on the floor of the vent. Then she realized and she slammed her head up letting out a loud ow. "Wait are you going to pull me out first or after I tell you why I was in the box of flowers?" She questioned rubbing her head within the tight vent.

"I could but then you might run off again... but i dont need you getting brain damage with you hitting your head in there so i guess i can pull you out first. As long as you stay long enough for a talk." He reached down and carefully grabbed her as he tried to pull her out of the vent, making sure not to harm her in doing that. He would speak once she was out and only once she was out because when her face would emerge he would smile down at her. "So, why were you in the crate?"

Quincy felt the pressure of the man pulling her legs and eventually her popping out with her arms crossed. She saw his smile and returned with a sharp glance to the side so not to make herself feel any more embarrassed. She let out a sigh before talking and looking down at her feet "I snuck myself into the crate so I can travel through the system unchecked and not needing any currency. I ran away because I thought you were a cop... you aren't an officer are you?... I guess it doesn't matter anyways cause I am caught." She plucked one more flower out of her hair and fluffed out her hood with her rabbit ears flopping at the sides of them.

"No no no, im not an officer." He said with a smile as he leaned back against the wall and slid down till he was sitting down while they talked. The funny part was that he ruled the planet they were on but he wasn't quite ready to let that little detail be none to this woman so he was having some fun with thinking it through. "I would have been more concerned if you were a slave being snuck onto the planet, there is a strict law about such things including that no slavery shall ever be brought to the lands that you find yourself on now. Now that i know you aren't though i am more than happy to let you go off when our conversation is over if you want to." He added the last part, already sensing something in her but he had to make sure what he sensed was the real deal.

Quincy was about to stand up but then she realized something. "Wait, if you aren't an officer, why were you searching through crates? Isn't that what officers are supposed to look for, not some random pedestrian?" She inquired turning her head to the now sitting man sensing something was off with him. She couldn't put her finger on it, though it gave her a feeling of stay close to this man or run as fast as you can. Clearly she was letting her curious nature take hand in what was going on.

"I have a say the workings of this world so you need not worry. Like i said im not a cop but i never said i wasn't in the government. But like i said miss you can go if you want once we are done talking. So, before i ask you another question, is there anything else you need know about me?" His eyes ran over to the side and up the wall before leaning his head back itself. He wanted to continue talking with this woman until he was sure about her sensitivity to the force.

Quincy followed his gaze to the wall and held it there and spoke with a soft tone in her voice. "I don't really have much to ask, though you have something about you... What exactly is it that you do? You don't need to answer but it is something that is sitting in the back of my head..." And just as she said that a small flower fell down and it slowly floated down to her lap and she payed to attention to it as she was waiting for something to happen as she felt it would.

"Im a warrior and a protector. You know how there are those people called Jedi and Sith, im neither as i use what they can do to protect the people of this world and others. So i tend to move around alot like you... just in more comfortable manners. I also own some land on this planet, so you can see my worry about illegal substances being brought here." He thought for a moment how best to ask the question before resorting to a round about way. "I have a question for you now. What is your name? My name is Solan."

[member="Solan Charr"]

Quincy eyed the man in awe, she had heard stories of the great jedi and the mysterious sith, but not someone who works for neither side. She held out her right hand towards him with a smile on her face "My name is Quincy, Quincy Sharpe" She felt more confident around him knowing that he cared for this planet more than his duties with the force, it was admirable at best. After shaking hands she stood up and patted herself down to get the dust from the vent off of herself. "Well Mr.Solan I believe I should leave you now?"

[member="Quincy Evelyn Sharpe"]

"Id actually like to talk more with you Quincy if you don't mind. You are interesting and i must say there is something on my mind in regards to you and like i said if you would so allow us to talk it would be most appreciated." He smiled at her and waved to the ground across from him. Granted as he had promised her that if she wanted to leave he would let her but he wanted to find that potential in her that he was sure was there. It was never he met someone like her in this situation. Most of the Force sensitives he found were after a tragedy or they found him. Never had he found one in a crate, that was a new one.

Quincy made a scowl and hung her head low just getting close to leaving and then getting stuck in a conversation. She sat herself across from Solan with her legs crossed and her left hand in her lap and her right hand on her chin. "As you said earlier I am free to leave when I wish, but something is telling me that it won't be a good idea. Like there is something more to you than you are letting on." She let out a sigh "And besides I've been caught by someone checking for smugglers, I'd better stay on my behavior and lay low for a while... What do you want to know?"

[member="Quincy Evelyn Sharpe"]

"Simple questions, and i want to know your honest answers. First have you ever felt like osmething bade or good was going to happen right before it did. Call it intuition, call it a coincidence i don't quite worry about what you call it. I just want to know if you ever experienced something like that and if you did how often does it happen around you. The question is important and im sorry if it doesn't quite appear that clear at that time. It will though and i assure you of that fact." He crossed his hands over his chest as he leaned forward slowly. He would look at her facial expression and wait for her to be sure of what Solan was talking about.

Her eyes shifted upwards and her index finger tapped against her chin. "Well now that you mention it, I have a few times. Actually that is what led me to hiding in that crate, I had the feeling like it had something important to do with me. Apparently it was just getting me caught." She shrugged and then leaned back with her head looking up into the sky and then she held up her hand at her face. "Well, that is a strange question though."
