~Still Surfin
"Force guide you child." Monica would whisper.
Even with all her years of Jedi experience. Alas. Monica had no idea what would come next for the girl. Prophecy had never been for forte. Yet even her emotions seemed unsettled too. Well. I suppose the future would rest soundly on her Padawan's choices from now on. Janith, like all free women, did still seem to possess a tremendous degree of her own agency. She was still able to make choices for herself. As, unlike a robot, golem, techno beast, or a sithspawn hatchling? Janith seemed to be in good control of her own self.
Yet. Even with all these terrible anxieties eating away at Monica's mind. Hope remained. Perhaps Kariton was different from all these monsters. Perhaps she was a type of alchemical creation that no Jedi had ever yet seen before. Perhaps the truth was self evident. That there really was a good and kindly woman behind all that magic and troubled past. Indeed. Perhaps Janith's future was still her's to choose for herself. Heavenly.
"Mm. The Gods bless you girl." Monica mused as she stepped over to her belongings, "...For I may not know how."
...
The blood test. That would tell her more. Until next week then.
