Hope is Kindled

Weary...
Battle and constant pain had invaded the Jedi Masters frame of mind. While he knew that he wouldn't ever get tired of this fight, simply because he knew it was never going to end. Part of him couldn't help but to wish that it was over, and would remain buried underneath the sand for no one to uncover. However there was always something else going on, something new being discovered and some old wounds that would be poke at and once again brings us right back to here.
Many thoughts swarmed through the mind of the thirty four year old Jedi Master, who had been asleep for most of the venture to Naboo aboard his ship with Gala in tow alerting him if there were any disturbances. While the the Jedi slept peacefully for the time being, his grizzled and bearded face was troubled and weary more so than not. Kahne had just returned from a long overdue Operation with his Master that drew upon the allies of other Jedi and old Galactic Alliance friends to complete. And while the journey to destroy one who had caused pain and strife to him and his family and would have caused even more devastation to many others was complete. While Kahne hoped it would be a sigh of relief, it turned out to not bring any relief whatsoever. The Jedi was unsure how to react to this, and that in itself caused him to worry.
As his eyes looked upon his wife and children again that shadow went away. It was good to see them again, however he felt he needed some more time to cope with what happened. Tiberias informed him that something of this magnitude, and how close he and she were. Would perhaps bring some sort of burden to him, and that he needed not to weigh in it. Smart man, and that task proved more difficult than ever before.
Naboo was home to him, it always was. It was actually one of the only places he felt relative peace at. The falls, wind, greenery and wildlife made it something more than special. And all the while he hoped to have some peace and quiet. He was also looking into visiting some old friends that resided there. It had been some time since he had been in contact with an old friend of his
John Locke
and he knew that
Gianna Aegis
had resided here as well. While he wasn't sure if John knew that he was coming, it would be a nice surprise he hoped. Perhaps just seeing them again would relieve the stress from his mind and heart.
It didn't take long for his Astro droid Gala to coming barreling through his quarters beeping and whistling loudly to get his attention and wake him up. The Jedi's eyes snapped open as he sat up quickly, taking note that they were almost there just a few minutes till they dropped out of hyperspace and would be descending upon Naboo.
