Capitol Rotunda & Offices - The dominating feature of the capitol building is in fact the large rotunda. This is the largest part of the capitol building and is open to the public upon passing through security at the main entrance. This structure holds offices for the political figures of the city, to include “Flex Offices” for visiting dignitaries and representatives. The Capitol Rotunda is protected primarily by members of the local police forces, maintaining a high visibility presence with First Order soldier stationed in and through the building. Important meetings of the legislature and planetary as well as local government are hosted inside the facility in their own chambers beneath the main rotunda on the first level below ground. The rotunda itself is very open and able to be utilized for public announcements and televised events as well as meetings with many foreign dignitaries and political figures.

New Advora Port Authority - This large, naval port is the premier fishing and commerce location in New Advora. Attached to this naval facility is a typical spaceport, large enough to accommodate the large imports of Medical Supplies and Foodstuffs. While primarily a civilian spaceport, there is an entire section dedicated to storing and servicing Imperial ships. Contained in this dual purpose complex is the planetary customs office which manages all imports and exports to and from New Advora.

Hill of Ash - North of the city looming high above New Advora is Mount Dervo, aptly named "The Hill of Ash". Like much of Riflor, the city of Advora is situated near the base of a giant super-volcano. Long ago the volcano erupted, forming much of the landscape around the city, now however, the mountain is content to simply smoke, sending thick clouds of ash into the sky. The Volcano itself is inactive, scientists estimating that the next eruption wouldn't occur for several hundreds of years. The mountain's peak is larger than most mountains nearby, the summit at a towering 13,086 meters. Much of the mountain is solid black stone but there are also lava tubes, mostly unexplored. Though it is classified as inactive, the mountain and surrounding area radiate large amounts of heat and it is rumored that if you climb to the summit you can gaze down into the molten lake thousands of feet below the edge.

Advorian Institute of Engineering - Established during the rebuilding of Advora, the Institue of Engineering is well known for its emphasis on technology and contributions to creating the city of New Advora as it stands today. Great minds from the institute have developed several technologies that have significantly improved the stability and quality of life. Resting near an intersection of tectonic plates, New Advora encounters seismic activity on a regular basis, varying in severity. In conjunction with the local population, these new structures have been built and reinforced against seismic activity, in most cases even reducing the "felt" earthquakes to feel little more than a small rumble.

Clearwater Hot Springs - These hot springs on the northern edge of town draw locals and tourists alike. Heated naturally by Mount Dervo's subterranean lava flows, these steaming waters may smell of sulfur but there's nothing like it for the relaxation they provide. With two distinct offshoots, one is set up as natural as you can get, large stones and trees surrounding the springs. On the other hand, a small resort has been set up, the hot water piped into more modern pools, the facility also boasting a full spa and wellness center.

Ersatz Geothermal Power Plant - Solar power while used in other places all over the galaxy was not practical on a planet who's three suns are constantly shrouded in volcanic ash produced from the planet. Instead, the engineers and a coalition of the "Green" initiative as well as First Order scientists installed a Geothermal Power Plant just north of Mount Dervo. Contrary to the cries that the facility wouldn't produce enough energy for the city, Ersatz provides more than enough electricity, additionally able to charge and store massive batteries for emergency use. Large over-land cables and several underground conduits send energy instantly to the city's power grid.

Governor's Mansion - Atop a small rocky outcropping inside the city stands the Governor's villa. This villa historically is given to the Governor of the planet and has an attached Villa which is shared by the Commissioner and his family. Sparing no expense, this mansion is outfitted with its own personal pool and gardens as well as a sizeable courtyard and stables.

Description: New Advora is built on the literal ashes of the old. Over a decade ago, the mountain had erupted. A minor eruption to be sure but the city had been almost completely wiped from existence. There was a small buildup at first, naturally the natives were used to the cycle. When the First Order stepped in, they were able to partner with the Advosec to develop new technology to prevent this from happening again. Not only did the First Order assist in rebuilding Advora, but they were able to enhance it, creating a prosperous and thriving city where there had been naught but ashes left.
Among the improvements to Advora was a geothermal powerplant, innovation engineered by both Advosec and First Order scientists, it provides electricity without further contaminating the atmosphere. Thanks to this "Limitless" source of energy, Advora is able to not only produce electricity it needs, but also store massive amounts in batteries for emergency use. Despite its classical appearance, the city of Advora is surprisingly modern, boasting modern conveniences and amenities such as running water, top of the line medical care, an agile and effective police force and choice locations for housing and vacationing to both locals and tourists.
In addition to the aid in constructing the city, the First Order has also been working with the local population and scientists from the institute to develop a strategy for combating the thick ash clouds that keep the planet's three suns mostly hidden from view. This along with their efforts to restore what culturally significant buildings had been destroyed by the small eruption has garnered an excellent relationship between the citizens of Advora.
History: Newly constructed over the last decade, New Advora has already surpassed its former self. The latter had been destroyed by a minor eruption of the nearby Mount Dervo, a mostly dormant super-volcano. Since the eruption, the former populace and the First Order have made leaps and bounds in both technology and implementation to prevent this from happening in the future.
Intent: To establish the Capital City of Riflor, New Advora and additional locations within the city.
