Mood: Good
Music - Summer

Brentaal IV not exactly the jewel of the galaxy but it offered a number of things that she found interesting. She also had a suite of rooms at the Grand Oradin Hotel with all its imperial splendor renamed to be more suitable for the democratic crowds, including herself.

Much had happened and with great fortune nothing had impacted her so directly. Zeltros was still a place to conduct business careful about her list of clients, and doing a bit of resistance work here and there. Like today moving about the galaxy and taking in the sites and details sharing them with who she could and watching the results. She was a spy again just this time she was on the side of the everyone said was 'the good guys' what a weak term though.

How did anyone know who the good guys were, any moment they could be the 'bad guys' These thoughts she had made her life keeping her mood light. Sometimes memories snuck in wreaking some havoc on her but she bounced back each time. Eh things happen the galaxy moved and so did she.

Leilani glanced over at a vendor offering drinks and something odd to eat..before going off into her new adventure she would feed her growling stomach. Shrugging slender pink shoulders, wearing her traditional outfit of fitted black clothing she moved with catlike movements toward the vendor. His eyes grew larger as she approached, "I won't eat you. I'd like a drink and one of those" She pointed and offered a chit.

Visible relief took over the man before her, "yes Mam"

Moments later she was sitting enjoying her drink and eyeing her food wondering just what it would be like. The vendor had suggested this yellow sauce that sounded vaguely like mouse turds but that couldn't be it. She squeezed it out...it was...not appealing..at all. She looked around others were eating it..she closed her eyes and took a bite

"I had to make a change. For you, me, her. It was time."

Leaving Lithios was a task bigger than anything else Arekk had seemed to face until that date, moving all of his belongings and putting them back on the Ebon Hawk was a more titanic achievement than passing the Jedi Trials by the hand of his old master. Well, kinda, not gonna start being so dramatic when it comes to that but he felt good putting everything behind.

The booze, the memory supressors, killing himself just a tiny bit every day just felt like he was disrespecting his old love's memory. And to refresh his own one what better than visiting one of the most renowned museum's on this side of the galaxy? Pick up on a few books, catch up on some of the latest topics of interest and overall help stimulate the mind a little more than he was used to but not before grabbing a drink.

The nearby hotel where Arekk was staying had a very convenient bar where he liked to spend most afternoons just chatting up the bartender about every patron coming and going while enjoying a delicious Lixterious accompanied by a cancer stick.

"One of your heaviest drinks, please."

The yellow slimy sauce was oozing down the food. She gad decided she didn't like it she could eat almost anything but not this tart tasting yellow baby spit. She reached out to throw it away when it appeared to be taking revenge on her sleeve "no!" She growled low cursing the condiment.

She couldnt go in with this yuck running down her sleeve. She stood up looking around nothing looked like it would have what she needed. "Feth"

The more she tried to wipe it off the worse it got. She absent mindedly went to wipe her face before she realized it was on her fingers. Ok enough she thought she was getting looks of disbelief. Back around the corner was a bar they would have a ladies room and a hand dryer.

Holding her head up and dispatching the rest of her treat she walked with purpose towards the bar.the darkness would be a welcome friend.

She smiled abd nodded giving all the proper excuses till she made it to the door. She slipped inside and quickly asked where the room was. She wasnt expecting anyone she knew to be here she headed back.

A feeling inched up her back but she ignored it keeping to her objective. Nah not here.

A familiar sensation triggered a plethora of emotions to flow all at once like a dam pushing water with full force, something or someone he knew was very close. Was that a positive or negative thing to sense, though? All the enemies made, people who wanted to see Arekk dead and have a piece of his head thanks to the bounty put out there for him meant he could be in real danger.

"Actually, I'll take this to go. Thank you." The man mentioned as he dropped a credit chip on the table and reached for his drink, sipping it while walking casually and looking around.

Lay eyes on hands for any blasters or inside their coats for weird looking bulges where one could hide an assault rifle of sorts to shoot him up. Perhaps living on Lithios had made him more paranoid, living a life of crime wasn't exactly pretty as the holoflicks made it to be.

"Nobody would shoot up a museum, right?" Arekk said in his mind, trying to negotiate with the situation. "I need more drinks, ugh."

Leilani scrubbed the yellow goo off it was gross and she now noticed it has some kind of acidic smell. This was a no win situation all she wanted was a day that was relaxing looking at some artwork to toy with her mind and forget what she saw on Anzat. She still couldn't get the screams out of her mind or the look on the faces of the sick.

Men, women, and children it did not matter. She was a horrible operative or maybe her heart was just too tender for that kind of observance. She didn't know all she knew is she needed to see something that was beautiful and wanted nothing from her accept a smile.

Slowly she walked out of the back area she could use a drink, maybe something with bubbles. Maybe.

Then she stopped anyone near her would have heard the gasp followed by the silence as she held her breath. There must be drugs in the yellow stuff, I'm seeing things now. A museum....we are both in the museum in the Core. She was planning on finding the goddess of fate and destiny and shaking the living daylights out of her.

She closed her eyes and took a few more steps it was dark and she could say her mind was playing tricks on her. "Feth me" she whispered someone near her huffed and laughed she didn't bother to look over, "I"m buying drinks" She took a few more steps. He was looking around did he suspect someone in here of ill intent. Well he better lift his gaze her way.

"Champagne?" They had a history with champagne.

Arekk sipped from his glass and allowed the delicious alcoholic liquid travel down his throat, grimacing at the taste of the beverage of choice. The place was strange and he felt out of place somehow, wishing he was home browsing the darknet and slicing other people's terminals instead of being in here.

Why was he there in the first place? It had been over a couple of hours since the fallen Jedi had stepped into the museum but his instant decision was to get a drink. Perhaps got lost on the way? Something drew him into there? No idea.

A voice echoed in his ear that sounded all too familiar but he couldn't quite pinpoint who it could be, too many people Arekk had met during the last five years he already lost count and had a hard time remembering at all.

"Champagne, what?"

She stood there looking at him. Did he not recognize her. "Champagne Well the kind that comes in a bottle usually a green label then we get two glasses and drink to whatever suits us. Like. Old friends. Or what the feth you doing here?"

She looked at the bartender "a good bottle not brut" She emphasized her point by shaking her finger. Once she had threatened the bartender she looked at Arekk , "do you know me?"

Or had he chosen to forget her. Oh. That would hurt wouldnt it.

Had it been that long. Ok goddess of destiny whats this about?

"Oh, Leilani." He remembered. "Sorry, it's been a while."

The questions came barging at point blank range, between the alcohol entering his system and the calmness of the museum he found it very difficult to concentrate until he was able to. Leilani looked the same as she did back then, so jovial and outgoing.

Not much had changed in reality, except that the fallen Jedi turned slicer was slightly... rough looking? Kinda.

Raising his glass and downing the beverage once again, Arekk made a little celebratory gesture regarding this unexpected 'reunion'. It was nice seeing her again after... you know.

"Me in a museum, right? I have no idea." A small laugh escaped his mouth, shrugging his shoulders under his iconic leather jacket. "Yourself?"

Mood - Surprise....concern

Music:
You've got a friend

She blinked not sure how to react to 'oh Leilani' it did almost sound like a song she heard once but that was something she would focus on later. "It has been a while Arekk."

There were times she wished her abilities about the emotions of others was bad but her species had this affect on others which was supposed to be calming. She smiled softly letting go of the surprise and assumptions.

Ahhh he asked about her. She would normally have blurt it all out. But not this time, this time she was going to do something she would not normally with him, she was going to tell a few half truths or a little white lie. He looked like he always did the galaxy on his shoulders and she wasn't going to add to it.

"Museum, they are calming. I love to look at something beautiful different, even unique and forget about everything else." Actually it wasn't a lie not really. The escape was from the screams and she hoped the gallery would provide diversion.

"Come on with me, we can gawk at the pictures and make people wonder what we are up to." She got a step closer and winked, "We'll sip our champagne along the way and catch up."

"OR....if you want to do the cantina hop we can do that too" She wouldn't mind some emotional numbing alcohol either.

"So...Arekk's choice...what shall it be?"
