If walking on land was hard enough for Reina's balance, she was slowly realising that it was worse with only one leg. It made sense of course, but she didn't realise quite how bad her balance was when she was on solid ground. She already had plenty of bruises to show for her lack of balance and how much it was affecting her training against the training droids. She had tried to take a step back, but fighting was in her blood. She couldn't just sit and work on her meditation or on reading until she got comfortable. No. She had to work on practising her saber drills as well. It was partly a pain for her. She had been doing extra drills to try and work out what style of combat she had liked. Shii-Cho had been somewhat simple to pick up, and Makashi had been something she had been working on because of her previous experience fighting but that wasn't something she could practice with terrible balance.

No. Instead she had went with one of the more physical intensive styles. Form 4, Ataru. Flipping through the air and working on her rotations, whilst slashing away at the training droids. the rotations were the key part for Reina, she had to make sure that she turned enough to land on her good leg. There had been a few times she had misjudged the turn and smashed her face against the ground. But every bit of pain she went through was a lesson. Something to learn from and change up. Even the nosebleed she currently had was a lesson. If she was going to fall from a flip, she needed to put her arms out to break the fall, not just let her face smack straight down in the Dojo flow.

"Get...back...up..."

She hissed to herself, pushing herself back up off the ground as beads of sweat dropped down the floor. Reina wiped her face with her sleeve, ignoring the blood that came with the movement. It was a nosebleed. She could work through it. Though she needed to catch her breath for a moment. Using the Force, or the Spirit as she liked to call it, Reina pulled her harpoon back to her side, using it to lean against whilst she breathed. She was making somewhat good progress. At least that's what she thought.

It was the second time in recent memory that Katherine was walking the halls of the Jedi Temple. She was still up in the air about taking a Padawan, but for the time being the redhead was determined to help those that she crossed paths with during her downtime.

And it hadn’t taken a lot for her to pick up and follow the breadcrumb trail of emotions leading to one of the training rooms.

Katherine placed her hand against the door, careful enough not to make it open. She focused on the interior, discreetly reaching out to check whomever was inside.

What she felt was a sense of frustration and determination, all mixed together. The Valkyrie smiled, having been all too familiar with the particular mix of emotions.

Probably what I felt like when I was in the middle of my own physical limitations.

Suspecting the occupant was heavily focused on their training, Katherine decided to slip inside. Carefully unlocking and sliding the door open quietly. Despite her size, the redhead was able to tiptoe into the training room, opting to just stay close to the wall and lean against it, watching.

Katherine watched as Reina trained, trying to adapt Form 4 with her missing leg. And it was an impressive sight to see, watching as the young Padawan flipped around, moving through the traditional rotations against the training droids. But even from where she stood, Katherine could see the inevitable slowly approaching.

And then it finally arrived as Reina missed her landing, smacking her face into the floor. The Valkyrie let out a sigh, before coughing audibly to catch the Padawan’s attention.

Alright, you might want to take more than a breather there. Before you end up doing some real damage to your head.

Reina was far too focused on her drills to realise someone had snuck their way into the Training Room. She always complained that she couldn't find focus, that she couldn't meditate and ignore the world around her but when it came to fighting, ever since she had lost her leg in the first place, Reina's mind was focused on the battle. It wasn't a real one, but she treated it as if it might as well be a real fight. Training wasn't good if you didn't take the stakes seriously.

As she tried to push herself up to her foot after the face-smack, Reina froze for a moment at the sound of a voice...before pushing herself back up. Some people might have been embarrassed at the idea of having an audience, but Reina didn't care. If people wanted to watch her make a fool of herself, then they could.

"I've had worse as a kid. Cracked my head open in the past. This is nothing for me."

It was true. Physical pain was one of the things Reina could always deal with. Within reason. After all, losing your leg would build your pain tolerance to another degree to normal. She sighed to herself, running her hand down her face and looking at her hand afterwards. She was going to look like a mess. Reina spun around on the heel of her foot to come face to...stomach with Katherine, as the Fisherwoman had to look up at the giant in front of her.

"...Oh. You're tall...Why is everyone so tall in this damned place?"
