Neng ooka
Ra'ti bomloo, bok kiluyak
Nyeta bok, nyeta kurruzza
Etee neng ooka kwa
Yesterday
Bad deals were as far away as the clouds
Now they're right here and irreparable
I want yesterday back
Yesterday
All my troubles seemed so far away
Now it looks as though they're here to stay
Oh, I believe in yesterday
Tomo gogowa
Tomo ashuna kiluyak
Ikee ko lopo
Etee neng ooka kwa
She left
She went away like the clouds
I am broken
I want yesterday back
Why she had to go
I don't know, she wouldn't say
I said something wrong
Now I long for yesterday
Neng ooka
Tomo m'bwa, utinni
Ookwass kiizci etee gogowa
Neng ooka — tandi kwa
Yesterday
She was mine, wow
Where is a cave I can run to
Yesterday — give it back
Yesterday
Love was such an easy game to play
Now I need a place to hide away
Oh, I believe in yesterday

A recording of four drunk Jawas singing these verses.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Since versions of this Jawa ballad can be heard around campfires on many worlds, it is believed that the song originated centuries ago, before Jawas left Tatooine.
