The most unique feature Nelliel possesses is her near-white hair. Apart from that and some minor cybernetic augmentations, there is nothing that really makes her stand out from a normal Atrisian human.

Nelliel's personality seems to change with her situation. When on the ground or outside the cockpit she is a lot more docile and quiet in nature, preferring to keep conversations short and to a minimum whenever possible. However when she's in the air and flying her personality seems to make a complete change, taking on a serious but playful attitude. She is much more energetic and enthusiastic and loves to make cracks at her fellow wingmen or berate the skills of enemy pilots. It's speculated that her true personality really only comes out and shines when she is in the air or in the seat of a cockpit.
Nelliel's greatest skill is in her ability to pilot a ship, having been inspired by the concept of flying and the stars since a young age. Despite initial protests from her parents, they did their best to train her and indulge her eagerness to one day become a pilot, something she has accomplished and became excellent in at a young age. Nelliel also possesses an untrained connection to the Force, which is why she performs well under intense situations when in the cockpit of a fighter, giving her an edge over your average pilot.

Nelliel is an excellent pilot, having spent most of her life in the cockpit the moment her parents deemed she was good enough to fly, having logged countless hours. While she may lack in many other aspects, both social and physical, her piloting skills can keep up with the best of the best throughout the Galaxy and has earned her the right to fly in her squadron. She's able to acquaint herself with any craft she gets behind the controls of and expertly maneuver it.

Nelliel is never one to sit still, even outside the cockpit she is always eager to have or make a reason for her to be off the ground and in the air. This can result in hot-headed and rash decisions on her part.

During combat, Nelliel seems to be connected to everything that is around her. She has heightened awareness and reflexes and her focus is much sharper than what it normally is. Nelliel has always attributed it to the adrenaline rush and excitement that helps her focus, but it is more so her Force Sensitivity that assists in that regard, allowing her to attune to the flow of combat and handle herself in the most stressful of situations.

Heedless, headstrong, and foolhardy. Nelliel has a habit of letting her eagerness get the better of her and letting her carelessness get the better of her. While she is able to focus on what's in front of her with great scrutiny, she sometimes gets lost in her focus and is unable to pay attention to what's happening around her, or to what might be on her six.
