[SIZE=9pt]The circlet provides the wearer with a power boost to the use of mental abilities, but no skill boost. While they would have a mental power far in excess of what they might normally, without practice and skill they wouldn’t be able to use it effectively. [/SIZE]

DESCRIPTION
[SIZE=9pt]The force was a powerful tool, a powerful weapon to be used and manipulated by those individuals who were blessed with that ability. What military, what mercenary would ever lose the opportunity to gain that advantage, to use it in battle? Certainly not the Golden Company, the galaxy’s pre-eminent mercenary company. Enter the lightsworn. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]The elemental force users could provide important support on the battlefield, using the force to carve into their enemies in whatever war the Company was hired to engage in. However, there were elements to the force that went beyond the physical, more than the elemental. There was the mental. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Powers such as battle-mediation can be a turning point in a battle, a way to allow people to fight, to engage better on both the tactical and strategic level. Using the power of the force to boost your allies, to confuse your foes, that was the power on offer. To be able to rip knowledge from another, to make them live their worst moments, face their deepest fears. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]The mental powers offered by the force were vast and capable, however, the power and training required to use them normally limited them to the most powerful of Force Users. It was that glass ceiling Lunara sought to shatter with the Neith Circlet. A way to make it easier for the Lightsworn to have access to those mental powers, the use of Nihil Smoke Stones combined with Wild Force Shards providing a powerful boost to the power of mental abilities. [SIZE=9pt]This isn’t to say that the circlet made the user more skilled, that was something that could only come through practice and experience, what the circlet did allow was a small amount of power to be boosted. Where a user might only be able to apply battle meditation to a squad, they could boost it to cover a batallion or larger. Whether or not they could handle the situation though was an entirely different matter.[/SIZE]
