BIOGRAPHY:
Nehravi was born on Hapes to common parents and spent her earliest years living a relatively uneventful life. By the age of eight, however, she'd begun displaying signs of Force sensitivity with enough frequency that her parents could no longer dismiss them as coincidence. Although Hapan attitudes toward the Jedi were gradually softening through the Consortium's association with the Galactic Alliance, Nehravi's parents remained deeply opposed to allowing their daughter to be trained in the ways of the Force, and did what they could to conceal her from the Jedi so their lives could continue on as normal.
When the Crimson Veil uprising plunged Chume'dan into riots and the subsequent blockade brought further disorder, her family attempted to flee the capital. They hoped to take refuge in a quieter city until the violence subsided, but Nehravi became separated from her parents amid the panicked crowds. She was eventually brought to a temporary holding camp, where officials assured her that she would remain until her family could be located. That reunion never came. Both of her parents were later found dead, their deaths attributed to being trampled during the chaos.
With no surviving family willing or able to claim her, the orphaned Nehravi was eventually placed in the care of the Jedi Order on Hapes.
For the next several years, the Temple became her refuge and the Jedi the closest thing she had left of a family, until violence found her once again.
Under the authority of the new Queen Mother, Mandalorian and Sith warriors were permitted to sack the Temple, destroying the only home Nehravi knew since losing her parents. She survived only through the unexpected mercy of a Mandalorian, who not only appeared remorseful over what was happening, but shielded her escape and guided her to passage that would lead her to the boarders of The High Republic.
