  • OVERVIEW & HISTORY
Neesa Anya Loroka was born into velvet and spotlight, the sole heir to a Coruscanti dynasty of entertainment moguls. Her family, the Lorokas, were not nobles, but in the eyes of Upper Coruscant, they may as well have been: their venues hosted senators, holostars, corporate executives, and royal delegates alike. Her aunt and uncle, Halamont and Shala Loroka, built an empire of music lounges, art houses, and boutique theaters- and made sure Neesa was groomed to be its crown jewel.

From an early age, Neesa was a prodigy. Her voice was discovered before she could even read lyrics. Tutors were brought in from Ghorman and Corellia. She learned not just to sing, but to enchant, to hold a room by the heartstrings and never let go. Her debut performance- at age 12, singing a jazzed-down ballad for her aunt's birthday- was so well-received that a HoloNet producer offered her a recording contract that very night. Her family declined, wanting her artistry to remain "pure" and "ours."

When Neesa turned 18, her professional career began in earnest with regular performances at The Star Lounge- the crown jewel of the Loroka entertainment portfolio. From the moment her voice echoed through its velvet halls, she became a rising name. Within a few years, she was a local fixture. Word of mouth turned into quiet write-ups in culture columns, then full spreads in nightlife circuits. Her voice- breathy, bluesy, soaked in charm and quiet ache- became synonymous with Coruscanti after-hours.

Throughout the years, she remained the Lounge's leading act. But change came subtly. The Family- a shadowy organization long rumored to have ties to the Lounge- quietly vanished. There was no scandal, no headlines. Just a slow hollowing out: familiar faces stopped appearing, quiet partnerships dissolved, and whispers dried up before anyone could confirm them. Neesa had never knowingly been involved with the organization, and to many, the shift barely registered.

But Neesa noticed. And though she was sheltered by high society and family wealth, she was far from oblivious. With the discreet backing of her aunt, she pivoted- broadening her venues beyond The Star Lounge, accepting offers from gala committees, holo-drama producers, and upper-level ballrooms. She leaned into her status as a cultural darling, not just a lounge singer, and her reputation blossomed.

She released a holotrack- "For the Ones We Almost Knew"- a smoky ballad filled with longing and memory, which became an anthem for a city constantly rebuilding and forgetting. It topped Coruscanti holocharts for weeks, and helped cement her image not only as a singer, but as a symbol of elegance enduring in the shadows of uncertainty.

Now in her early 30s, Neesa is a celebrity in her own right. She performs across sectors and systems. Her life is a whirl of gowns, paparazzi, private security, and heartfelt songwriting sessions on tiny balconies at 3 a.m. Despite the glitz, she carries the melancholy of someone who lost something... perhaps innocence, perhaps trust- in that sudden transition from family singer to cultural icon.

She remains a woman caught between two lives: the carefully curated glamour of Coruscant's upper crust, and the hidden tension of people constantly wanting something from her- her voice, her charm, her connections… or more.

  • APPEARANCE & ATTIRE
Neesa Loroka is the image of vintage glamour reborn into modern royalty. At 5'6" with a slender yet curvaceous build, she carries herself with a theatrical confidence that turns heads without trying. Her long auburn hair is often styled in soft waves or elegant updos depending on the performance or venue, and her signature look always includes a bold lip- usually a deep red or shimmering coral.

Her eyes, a deep brown framed by long lashes, hold emotion like water in crystal- clear, catching light, but always moving with undercurrents. Even when she's smiling, there's often something reflective behind her gaze. When she's focused- singing or listening- she has the ability to make a person feel like they're the only soul in the galaxy.

Her attire ranges from classic gowns inspired by Old Republic fashion (long lines, dramatic sleeves, metallic-threaded silks) to striking modern outfits designed by up-and-coming Coruscanti creators. Always favoring jewelry- she inherited a massive collection- Neesa mixes real gemstones with artisan-crafted costume pieces, often to support independent designers.

Off-stage, her style relaxes into a tasteful casual: high-waisted trousers, draped blouses, and a shawl or wrap slung over one shoulder. She's rarely seen without at least one statement accessory- a cuff bracelet, layered necklaces, or an earpiece inset with mother-of-pearl.

Small details hint at vulnerability: nervous tics like tugging on her rings, checking her reflection in mirrors when no one's looking, and smoothing down her hair even when it's perfectly in place.

  • PERSONALITY
Neesa Loroka is the kind of woman who can light up a room the moment she steps into it- but if you look closely, you might catch the flicker of self-doubt in the corners of her smile. She's charming without being calculated, warm without being naïve, and deeply in love with the idea of connection. For Neesa, music isn't just performance- it's communion. She sings because she wants people to feel something, to remember something, to believe, even briefly, in something more than themselves.

She's a deeply emotional person, ruled more by heart than logic. Her highs are euphoric, her lows quiet and aching. She wears her feelings close to the surface, not because she lacks composure, but because she never learned how to tuck them away. This vulnerability is part of her appeal; people trust her, confide in her, fall in love with the honesty in her voice. But it's also her greatest liability- Neesa feels everything, and sometimes that weight is more than she knows how to carry.

There's a performer's polish to her- decades of lessons in posture, poise, and conversational grace- but at her core, she's still that teenage girl singing in a candlelit parlor, desperate to make her aunt proud. She's not calculating or power-hungry, but she is deeply aware of how she's perceived. The wrong headline, the wrong association, a misstep at a gala- she knows the cost of bad optics. Still, she sometimes lets herself be led by feeling rather than strategy, and when things fall apart, she takes it personally.

Despite her upbringing in luxury, Neesa isn't cruel, entitled, or oblivious. If anything, she carries a quiet guilt for how easy her early life was compared to others. That's why she gives so much- her time, her talent, her emotional energy. She wants to be useful, meaningful, someone others are glad to know. But that desire to give often leads her to overextend herself or say yes to people who don't deserve her loyalty.

Her humor is sharp but never cruel. She's the first to laugh at herself, the first to offer comfort when someone else is breaking. She tells stories like a playwright- voices, accents, dramatic pauses- and makes even the dullest memory sound like an old holofilm. Yet in quiet moments, she's introspective, even wistful. Neesa believes in love, but she's afraid she might be too much for anyone to really stay with. Or worse- that she's not quite enough.

And yet, she carries on. One note at a time, one stage at a time. Because somewhere out there, someone's waiting to hear their feelings sung aloud- and Neesa Loroka has always been a believer in showing up, even when it hurts.
