OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: Create a totally legitimate shipping company.
  • Canon: N/A
  • Permissions: N/A
  • Links: Neebray
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Organization Name: Neebray Lines Hauling Company
  • Classification: Shipping Company
  • Affiliation: Officially: Jai'galaar Gred Jai'galaar Gred (Under Jay Galore) Unofficial: The Family
  • Organization Symbol: A freighter with a Neebray following it.
  • Description: Based along a deep, Epica waterway, Neebray Lines has a shipping center based there, with some landing pads a docks for aquatic landing ships and planet side shipments. While it's not exactly the closest location to major cities, it is in a nice position to service those who don't want to/can't go into the cities. Even as a short hopper. The company is run by Jay Galore ( Jai'galaar Gred Jai'galaar Gred ), and operates a couple of it's own ships, plus some contractors.

[REDACTED]: The company is also a front for smuggling, but the heavy use of legitimate business is used to bury this.
GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
  • Headquarters: Epica
  • Domain: Mostly just the shipping yard, and attempting to reach out to the community, hiring many on as loaders for good pay and benefits.
  • Notable Assets: 2x Influunt-class Aquatic Utility Corvettes (Peko-peko, a freight configured vessels with hidden tracking, smuggling, and countermeasure systems, and Mynock, a freight configured vessel), 1x YV-929 Light Freighter (Dewback), The Epica shipping yard, various ships under contract work, including, technically, the Cloud Breaker.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Hierarchy: The chain of command starts with Jai'galaar Gred Jai'galaar Gred at the head, with a yard master, flight controller, and contract organizer running their respective areas (loading/unloading, local flight handling and ship maintenance, and keeping track of contractors respectively), with various employees under them. As far as ship crews, this will differ vessel to vessel.
  • Membership: Roughly 50 employees total, and various contractors. Pretty easy to get hire, but those trusted with the less than legal side are few.
  • Climate: For the most part, Neebray Lines is a friendly company that tries to treat it's employees right, even with those who handle the other side of the business. That said those working that side are highly trusted, and it wouldn't be wise to break that trust.
  • Reputation: To most people, Neebray Lines is a new, but so far trustworthy freight hauler.
  • Curios: N/A
  • Rules: Standard rules of any shipping company for legal business. When it comes to smuggling: No transporting slaves, no looking in any cargo you aren't supposed to, and don't speak of it.
  • Goals: Publicly, to provide a place to work and shipping for many on Epica that couldn't dream of it originally, and simply keep the company running. As for other goals, giving a way to get certain goods in and out with less eyes on them.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
A new company to Epica, and shipping scene as a whole, Neebray Lines Hauling Company is a "Rough and Rugged" type of company focused on delivering various goods to and from Epica, particularly for those who wouldn't have access to such services before. Started by "Jay Galore" using credits from bounty hunting, and a few other good jobs, company operates three main vessels, sister ships Peko-peko and Mynock, a pair of Influunt-class vessels, and the Dewback, a YV-929 picked up from a target who definitely wouldn't need it anymore. The Influunts are also one of the reasons for the shipping yards aquatic location. While a new company, it has seemed to gotten fairly well off the ground.

In the background, hiding behind the legitimate side, there is a smuggling side to company, mostly used to help wit business with The Family. This, however, is effectively hidden with the legitimate business activity.
