Quarter of a Master
It was her, the truest hero of that day. Colette's arms wrapped around Adelle completely, her grip as tight as she could muster without suffocating her new friend. Corazona meant too much to Colette to simply say thank you to Adelle for being there.
"Corazona and I have been through a lot together." She said before easing out of the hug. "She was an annoying little shit back when we first met, but so was I… Sort of. Two girls from two very different worlds, sharing one master in the Order."
A hand would, however, still rest on Adelle's shoulder
"We were both raised for service. Nobility for her, childcare for me. Both of us also broke free from those lives to make our own." Colette hoped that her pride for Corazona and herself shone through. They had both endured things done to them that nobody should have to endure, but they came out on top in the end. "Luciana is just one more step on that journey and I am so glad that Cora lets me be a part of it."
The hand lingered, Colette swallowed her words for a second before she grinned again.
"And you helped make that happen. Meaning that I was right," she continued. "You do belong on my list. You are a good person, and I will be there for you if you ever need my help."
