New Cov Temple was not a place Braze was familiar with. He had been here maybe once, twice... maaaaybe even thrice in the past, but he was never very good at navigating it. For some reason, it always got him turned around and twisted up. He was frustrated and found himself outside in the place where he had practiced with Loomi Loomi before. He flopped over into the grass and stared at the sky. He was getting hungry and still hadn't figured out where to go to find a meal here. He was in a pouty sort of mood with how frustrated he had been. He felt like he'd run all over the place and still somehow didn't figure out where the correct room was. He was starting to think the person he asked for help had given him poor directions just to watch him run about.

Braze sighed heavily, feeling the cool grass beneath him and the warmth of the sun on his face. His stomach growled loudly, a reminder of his growing hunger. He closed his eyes, trying to calm his mind and think of a solution. Just as he was about to give up and consider finding some one else for help, he heard footsteps approaching.

"Hey there, whatcha doing?"

Vera noticed that his eyes were closed, but she knew he was awake. He felt a little frustrated and it almost looked like he had just given up on something. What it was, she didn't know, but Jedi helped each other, right? The New Cov Temple was like a home to her, so if there was anything he needed, she'd be able to provide.

"I don't think I've seen you here before."

She plopped down in the grass beside him and flashed a grin, "What do you think of the Temple? My Mom was once a leader here, but that was a very long time ago. Dad rebuilt it and now it's there for us to train." He hadn't asked her about Temple history, but she was obviously very proud about it.

This was a part of her family history.

Braze's eyes fluttered open, and he set his somber jade-green gaze upwards. Vera Noble Vera Noble ? Yes, it was Vera. He moved to sit up and dusted the grass from his white hair with his right hand. He knew he probably shouldn't start with, 'I was getting ready to cry because I'm lost.' That wasn't a very good way to start things off. How did someone make friends again? Braze thought briefly, trying to remember all those things he'd read.

He met her eyes instead of awkwardly looking away. "Hello... I'm a little lost. I was just trying to get out my frustrations... and gather my thoughts. My name is Braze; You're Vera right?" he offered, having listened to what she had said. "You probably know your way around here pretty well, if you're parents made this place so nice, huh?" he asked, taking note of what she said. "Your mom is Valery Noble Valery Noble and your dad is Kahlil Noble Kahlil Noble , right?" He asked just to make sure. He didn't really have a good understanding of Aris Noble Aris Noble 's family or who was related to whom by blood, but he was pretty sure that Vera was his sister in some facet.

"Could you please show me how to get around? I feel like I can't find the place to get food, and the jungles are terrifying here."

Lost?

Vera tilted her head and wondered for a moment. He looked a little too somber to just be lost out here. So, she did what she always did when someone in the family seemed sad. She offered a smile and turned to him, as they sat in the grass, "Mhmm, I'm Vera Noble, and those are my parents." She was quite proud of her family, not so much because of their accomplishments, but because of how close the whole family was.

There was always warmth and love to be found.

"I can show you where to find food or any place here, really! But are you okay?" She asked carefully. "You looked a little bit sad and maybe it helps to talk about it? If you want, of course." She was a talker and quite an energetic one, but Vera could also listen. She had to, whenever people asked her about visions.

Her smile was comforting and reassuring. Braze wasn't really used to that kind of behavior and only ever let his guard down around people like Jasper Kai'el Jasper Kai'el , Loomi Loomi , and Ko Vuto Ko Vuto ; they had become his inner circle. He had always seemed so guarded, and lately, he found it all too easy to become overstimulated, frustrated, and overwhelmed, even by things that should seem simple for most. Perhaps that just added to it. In truth, Braze had very low self-esteem, masked by bravado and overcompensation that often came off as obnoxious as he always felt he had something to prove. But that wasn't here or there. The truth was he was overwhelmed and upset with himself for not understanding something that should be simple.

He remembered Vera from a brief encounter with her and @Aris when he offered Aris some form of apology.

"I'm alright..." he murmured when it seemed like she wanted a reply. "I'm just, uh..." He didn't really want to admit his thoughts or feelings and would rather push them down and hide them away. He started to fuss with the edges of his sleeves.

"A little frustrated, I guess," he offered lightly. "I would appreciate it if you would be kind enough to show me around. And, um, it's nice to meet you... uh... more properly now, Vera."
