Description:

Named after one of the original founders of Rogue Squadron, the Narra-class Interceptor was designed to replace the aging starfighters in the Republic arsenal.

Equipped with a pair of repeating laser cannons and a powerful engine, the Narra is able to quickly engage, dogfight, and destroy enemy ships in the field. The interceptor is equipped with a deflector shield standard for its size to aid in protection and can easily outmaneuver most other starfighters with ease, helping it to survive for long periods of time, even under heavy engagement. This ability, coupled with the repeating lasers, the craft’s sheer volume of fire and ability to get itself into the opportune spot to dish it out make this ship exceptionally lethal.

The Narra can’t do everything, unfortunately. The lack of warhead launchers reduces the interceptor’s role and limits its ability to engage escort and capital ships. Also, while the Narra features a shield system, it has little armor, leaving it vulnerable to attack in such situations. Finally, the Narra has no hyperdrive and must be transported on a carrier or based from surface bases or orbital defensive stations.

Honestly, it depends on the "bolt-on" weapons or systems and I'm glad you asked me that. For example, a bolt on addition of larger fuel cells for increased range might drop it down to Speed 2 whereas 4-6 "Fire-and-Forget" one-shot rockets (unguided, HE rockets and the like) might not affect the speed and maneuverability that much, if at all. It's a difference in a few mph to a definitive drop in speed, depending on the system mounted.

Overall, the bolt-ons I'd like to address if/when they're put through the Tech Factory. I'll put a speed modifier on the subs themselves and link the Narra or whichever other ships they can be bolted onto and affected.
