  • Automated plant systems require only minimal supervision from organic workers.
  • Network Intrusion Countermeasures in-built to protect plant functions from outside interference.
  • On-Site security package offered by Nakaioma Security Services.
  • All processors on a planet can be ordered to begin, cease, or modify functions at the same time.
  • Shut down programs in-place to prevent plant meltdown in event of attack or malfunction.
  • Material by-products from conversion, including carbon can be sold and used for other purposes.

  • Smell That Fresh Air: Capable of converting type 2, 3 and even certain type 4 atmospheres into breathable, and healthy type 1 atmospheres. NAKAIOMA Atmospheric Processors do what they say on the tin, through a sophisticated series of ionization, extreme temperature heating, molecule dissolution and magnetic reassembly, any world can be made habitable by enough atmospheric processors.
  • Area Denial Begone: Radiation, debris, and other incredibly harmful atmospheric pollutants, either deposited by chemical and nuclear weapons, or simple pollution by unregulated factories. Once they would have been considered means of area denial, preventing the land from ever being used again. Now, however, a simple purchase of an Atmospheric Processor can solve all of those problems. Able to convert even the most sinister pollutants into clean, breathable air.
  • An Atmosphere For All: Designed along the basis premises of atmospheric conversion technology, the Atmospheric Processor can convert virtually any form of molecule found in an atmosphere into any other kind of molecule. This allows for a wide variety of atmospheres to be created for an even wider variety of species, all of which require very specific, optimal configurations in-order to successfully thrive on a world.

  • Rome Wasn't...: Given the vast scale of planetary bodies, even a large quantity of Atmospheric Processors will take several years to establish a breathable atmosphere. Though the number directly correlates with the speed, the amount that would be required to speed it up to a year or so would be prohibitively expensive. Atmospheric cleansing takes less time, but still noticeably long to make an impact on the population.

The NAKAIOMA Atmospheric Processor is an incredibly large planetary terraforming and environmental restoration plant designed by Nakaioma Planetary Design and typically manufactured by Nakaioma Heavy Industries. Thousands of meters tall, these plants can be seen for miles, and typically overshadow any nearby cities or settlements, this scale is necessary for the plants to have any kind of recognizable effect on the worlds on which they are built within a human lifetime. Though the technology does exist to build these kinds of atmospheric processors on a much smaller scale, the effects would take far too long to come to fruition on any large planet, as such these smaller processors are often reserved for localized atmosphere cleansing. Powered by fusion reactors, the process of converting a native, Type 2,Type 3, or even certain Type 4 atmospheres into a Type 1 atmosphere begins with the processor sucking in nearby native atmosphere through its large open top. This is when the native air passes through a series of acceleration batteries, designed to compress and quicken it up, that connect to an ionization chamber where the individual particles are then heated to extreme temperatures.

This process is then further built upon in the following and last stage of conversion, where the native atmosphere is sent from the ionization chamber to the atmospheric processor's in-built plasma infusion center, which further heats the particles to the point that their subatomic components begin to separate, effectively disintegrating the original molecules, and changing them into a blank slate of sorts, to be then sent through a series of magnetic vaults, that rearrange these now spliced apart molecules into whatever new form of gas is required by the customer, typically oxygen, hydrogen and nitrogen, the core components of Type 1 atmospheres. The atmospheric processors are to a large degree autonomous, though still require a sizable contingent of organic workers to oversee the plant's integrity, and to ensure that everything is running smoothly. Following the successful formation of a Type 1 atmosphere, the plants can continue to function, cleaning the air so long as they are active, and replacing any pollutants with new, clean air, which is distributed through the plant's open side flaps.

Utilized for large-scale terraforming, atmospheric processors can also be used in smaller numbers for cleaning up an already existing Type 1 atmosphere. It is a highly effective solution to pollution, a catchy phrase that the corporation has since begun to use in some of their public relations' campaigns. Capable of taking in any kind of pollutant, including radiation and even debris, and expelling it back into the atmosphere as new, clean molecules. In regards to how long it takes for the effects of these plants to be seen by the population, it is generally agreed that the more plants one has on their world, the quicker it will take. Although often it will take several years regardless, unless it is a particularly small world or moon. The first atmospheric processing plant was built on a pollution-ridden backwater planet with no significance, seemingly at the charity of the Nakaioma Corporation, in reality the planet was a test subject for the viability and profitability of the project, which proved to be a success. Atmospheric Processors are typically sold by the corporation as part of a package deal, including the construction, provided by Nakaioma Heavy Industries, and if required, due to external circumstances, on-site security can be provided by Nakaioma Security Services.
