SPECIAL FEATURES

  Impact adhesive – much like a thermal detonator, the Grav grenade is designed to adhere to a surface. It can be placed beforehand, or lobbed by the user

  Timed fuse – adjustable via grenade interface, anywhere from 0 to 10 seconds. Once the grenade is armed, this cannot be changed

  Selector – the user can choose between 0G, 5G, or 10G. The first setting generates a zero-gravity field, while the other two increase the local gravity by the listed factor, respectively
  

Strengths:

• 
  Love is in the air: On the 0G setting, the Grav grenade will generate a zero-gravity bubble centered on itself. People or objects caught inside the five-meter radius will be rendered massless and thus float, much like in space. This effect lasts five minutes.
  
• 
  Down to earth: On the 5G or 10G setting, the the Grav grenade will generate a gravity swell centered on itself. People or objects caught inside the five-meter radius will be affected by the new gravity, substantially increasing their mass by the selected factor. 5G lasts five minutes, 10G lasts two minutes.
  

Weaknesses:

• 
  EMP/Ion: Whether hanging off a bandolier or already primed and sticking to a wall, the grenade can be easily disabled by an attack of either type. This renders it permanently useless – well, suppose you could use it as a paperweight.
  

DESCRIPTION
Building on previous ventures into the field of gravity technology, the Grav grenade is simply the next natural step. Though it is odd to see a (mostly) non-lethal weapon in the arsenal of Nadir, the E-series is here to stay. With its range of adjustable effects, it is an indispensable companion on the toolbelt of any self-respecting bounty hunter.

From pinning fleeing opponents, to setting them helplessly afloat, the Grav grenade has many tricks in its proverbial sleeve – and those are just the most common applications. With the 10G setting, you could easily make a guy in power armor deeply regret his choice of attire, or send him plunging through the floor in his suddenly-5-tonne-armor.

An ingenious mercenary will no doubt find many uses in the fine Grav grenade – happy hunting!
