Mara made her way through the streets of Theed, it was quiet and tranquil, save for some noise coming from afar, she mace her way towards it as she saw neon light of a Gungan that looked like it was dancing, beneath it read Thesa Dancin Gungan. It clearly was a cantina, and The Palpatine could use a drink and something go eat at this late hour.
She stepped inside and there was all manner of rowdiness, four Gungans sang near a glowing juxbox,
“Mesa me need.. yousa lovin armsa.”
Mara smirked as she camd to t he bat and no sense Gungan with an eyepatch and green skin said,
“We don’t serva yousa kind here.. go back to your wineries Naboo.”
He turned around and wiped a glass, she tapped his sash.
“
I could use a meal, and I would like to pay for a round for those four and their cheerful song.”
The Bartender eyed her as she laid credits on the bar table.
“You musta not be a from around hersa.. no Naboo coma in here. Our establisa ment dis disrepect.”
She sat on her stool with a face of sunshine. “
I think its charming! I love your sign. Do you allow dancing?”
The One Eyed Bartender raised his lid as a brow.
“Tis allowed.. no onsa has a wanted too.”
She went to one of sad Gungans at the jux and offered her hand, he looked at it confused as she took his and began to dance, the three other Gungans stared in awe, one of them clicked a song that played:
The Gungans stirred at the pipes and the Bartender gave slight smile, suddenly the sauced Gungans were now all dancing about, their grim faces turned upside down. For the first time in a long time they all we rousing and singing along as they knocked some Gungan ale glasses together.
Outside the Naboo neighbor nearest had its lights come on as Nabooians took note to the change in the sound of the Cantina, prompting some to even come out and dare to draw near to see what all the fuss was about.
Inside Mara was laughing heartily as she joined the line of Gungans dancing in a circle, The Bartender even clapping along to the tune playing on the juxbox. The door opened as some women and men in Theed apparel looked and started to dance a little, feeling the groove. The Palpatine had bridged a gap, she had done it with dance, and joy. She could not be more different than the Ancestor who had called this planet home.
