Personality
Myvette Faeli is a bird in a cage. In her early years, Myvette was very outgoing and expressive until an incident involving a friend occurred and she became cold and distant to the point Myvette became mute. Despite her extremely closeted and reserved nature, Myvette is very compassionate and surprisingly assertive although she doesn’t speak in any capacity or open herself up to anyone.

This unwillingness to let down her guard is taking its toll on, Myvette’s emotional and spiritual development, and its plain for anyone to see that she has hidden potential that she’s neglected to foster and it’s holding her back especially in terms of the Force whereas she could be much more powerful if she only allowed herself to be open.

Communication is mainly done through hand gestures, writing, and the very occasional ‘hmm’ to grab someone's attention. Myvette is also not above simply grabbing a person and turning them toward the thing she wishes to point out. Myvette can get frustrated when someone is unable to understand her or inquires as to why she doesn’t simply speak but she’s understanding of her particular circumstances and certainly won’t hold this against people.

Strengths
  • Empath
    • As a Miraluka Force user and a genuine kindred soul Myvette has a deep emotional connection with those around her and the living force. She can understand people's thoughts and feelings and offer solutions that work for everyone…granted she can get her point across.
  • Force Sight
    • Like all Miraluka, Myvette was born with the ability to use Force Sight which doesn’t allow her to perceive color but does increase her spatial awareness, allows her to sense the alignment and personality of those around her, see through solid objects and doors as well as greatly increase her reflexes.
  • Duelist
    • Myvette has become adept with letting the Force guide her saber motions, combined with her skill in Form III Soresu and she boasts a rigid yet very flexible defense that moves with an opponent's weight instead of against it
  • Dark Transfer
    • Myvette has the very rare ability of dark transfer which allows her to pour dark force energy into fault lines on a person's body to either heal that point or explode it.

Weaknesses
  • Speaking Up
    • Because of her muteness, if someone misinterprets her gestures or fails to understand her, Myvette can get backed into a corner. Moreover, because of her cold and distant facade, it’s very easy to believe that Myvette truly is detached from others and this misunderstanding of her character can push others away unintentionally.
  • Sharing the Pain
    • Myvette frequently fastens herself to issues and frustrations of those around her much to the girl's detriment because she can’t help but feel a pull to action when those around her are suffering. This can and has been used against her to the girl to act rashly and perhaps even violently if pushed far enough.
  • Let the Force flow through you
    • Without stable conviction, it’s hard to connect with the Force and Myvette has struggled with this extensively to the point when she was twelve Myvette went blind due to her burying the Force so deep within herself and losing access to her Force Sight. While she’s recovered now Myvette still has trouble connecting with the Force, a problem for a Jedi to be sure.
  • The Cats Curiosity
    • Myvette feels an eerie pull toward sources of Dark Side energy whether they be people, places, or objects and this eerie attraction can be dangerous if not approached carefully.

Biography
Myvette Faeli was born on the planet Dantooine where her Force Sensitivity was quickly discovered and she was taken by the Jedi Order. Even as a young child, Myvette seemed to have a natural sense of compassion and empathy which made her popular amongst her peers and gained her the attention of some of the masters who watched her closely. During her time as a youngling Myvette began to hang out with a boy by the name of Darren and the two became close friends as they underwent training.

Over time as the two began to grow in power so too did Darren’s ambition and thirst for greater control which led the boy to steal an ancient Sith Holocron filled with Dark Side teachings from the temple vault in search of dormant power. Bringing the Holocron to Myvette’s quarters, Darren was all too happy to show off the ancient relic to his not so keen friend.

Myvette attempted to reason with Darren and convince him to return the Holocron which led to the pair getting into a heated argument that culminated in Darren storming off to presumably “turn himself in.” What Myvette had not expected was for Darren to return with a master and accuse her of the Holocron theft. Myvette denied those claims but with the Holocron having been left in her room the evidence stacked up against her and she was punished for the actions of Darren.

After a harsh lecture, Myvette confronted Darren and the two got into another heated argument which turned physical. Myvette even now doesn’t remember what she said to Darren but it didn’t matter because after the words left her lips Darren would walk no more because his legs were crushed with the Force.

Whether she had invoked some ancient curse or simply channeled the Dark Side through her words, Myvette had crippled someone close to her over a petty argument and that fact terrified her enough to go mute and vow to never use her voice again in fear that it could do more evil.

A simple slip of the words had clipped not just her confidence but her vocal cords too and after years of not revealing her voice and not revealing herself Myvette has begun to forget both and now she questions if she’ll ever get the courage or the right to express herself again.
