POINTS OF INTEREST

The Great Bazars
VC_StarWarsDIY_Disney_Press_8_15_WDI_001-1-2_1280x640.jpg

Scattered around the city there are many buzzing marketplaces with rare and valuable goods to trade and sell, the merchants who come here do so in droves and bring with them goods from across the galaxy. Mythos had ordered a loosening on the empire's more strict laws of trade within this city as to facilitate the strong middle class of the city to prosper. Markets and shops of every kind are in the city and trade is a cornerstone of life in the city but it's real strength come from it's middle class. The middle class are plentiful in this city, the poor and rich are more rare here as the city has many opportunities and employment for anyone looking to become a solid middle class. The ground of Nathema makes arriving to any of these bazars an adventure in itself, they all reside on hills and mountains that require steep climbs or speeders to get to. Once there the view is a reward in itself as you will be able to see the miles of farmland that stretch all around you.

The Silos:

The Silos stretch for a few hundred feet in the surface and extend for miles underground. They are temperature sealed, protected underground by several generators, Duranium vaults and reinforced Durasteel entryways. They are heavily protected and patrolled by imperial legionnaires every hour of every day. From these silos the Empire has a bountiful emergency harvest of food if it so ever needs it. They are scattered throughout the city and are only accessible by authorized imperial officers. The Silos have a network under them and even have sprinklers of preservatives and nutrients sprayed to the goods. Underground they are patrolled by imperial droids and sentinels as well as the more elite soldiers of the Empire. These underground locations are heavily guarded and monitored at all times, the deeper you go, the more elite soldiers you will find.

The Imperial Panathan Tower:

In the heart of the city lies the great tower of imperial power Mythos designed and built specifically for the Emperor Darth Carnifex and the Shadow Hand Darth Prazutis. It is meant to a seat of imperial galactic power in the city should the nobles ever use the city for whatever reason as a base of power. Mythos educated himself in Panathan architecture, art and engineering then built this to challenge the Panathan artists and creators. This tower is a boast to all panathan artists and architects as in the front entrance it states clearly "From your worlds lines I created what you would call perfect" in Panathan.

The Tower has in itself several stories dedicated to luxury and art as the majority of the tower is. The other floors of the tower, the ones closer to the ground are filled with an imperial garrison, an armory, several safety command centers, a docking bay and a shield generator that covers the tower itself. At the ground level it is walled off for several miles and guarded zealously, no one is allowed entrance into the tower grounds without prior authorization.

Magnus A&M Tower

This is the governmental seat of power of the city, it is the largest building that Mythos' company has at the time of it's construction. Inside it are several governmental offices including the office of the city governor. Future projects of the company are designed more often than not here as well as the expansion of the city and city planning. It is located in the same district as the Panathan tower and the Academy. This tower is the second center of Mythos' company he has created outside Iego, one at the time of this construction is being built in Siiruuk space, these Sii-ruuvi are already at work here in Nathema.

The Second Academy- The Pyrrhus Institute of Advanced Studies
Sci-Fi.jpg

For all intents and purposes of the press and brochures this is a civilian university, in reality it is an advanced technical school for those graduated from their acolytehood. It serves as a continuation of more in depth philosophical studies and lightsaber training. Mythos gives special lightsaber classes there for the knights of the order as well as sometimes give a class or two on Sith methodology and history. It was constructed in the image of Darth Pyrrhus and bears his namesake and face carved in several places in the institute, it follows his teachings and Mythos created it as an extension of the Sith Academy of Glee Anselm from which he graduated and Lord Pyrrhus still resides in. It holds within it the library of Pyrrhus and the great Arena of Tanek, also in the image of the Torgruta.

Mythos has not let the absence of Master Pyrrhus go unnoticed in his annals of study and history, he built this to await his long anticipated return. It stands as a reminder to those who knew him who he was and a teaching to those who do not.

SECURITY
High
Military Base Achron and Special Molok Operations Training Center are both located in this city.
Military Presence is high due to the city being a strategical jewel in the empire.

Upon arriving at the outskirts of the city there are various space ports inside and in orbit that allow for entry into the city. In these ports there is heavy security, thorough identification checks ect. The city is open to come through the fields however around the city there are the several military bases and special operation training centers conducting routine training, patrols among other things. It is very common to see off duty Sith-Imperial legionaries walking about the city. On and off uniform this city is home to soldiers of the Sith-Imperial military so anyone coming through the city will at some point come across an imperial soldier with or without his uniform. Patrols are common around the silos but the rest of the city is a normal buzzing place. Checkpoints are only common in certain areas of the city like the Magnus Tower and the Silos, other than the checkpoint anyone would pass when entering in the ports, unless you are going to one of the heavily secured places you should see no checkpoints. The outskirts of the city house the vast plainslands of crop and serve as the special operation training center's area of operations. It is possible to come into the city through the plains and pass the checkpoint at the edges of the city but it is likely one will be hailed and stopped by any of the military police in the outskirts then escorted inside.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Before the arrival of the Sith Empire under Darth Carnifex what was this city was only a small town and rural center of the buzzing world. Mythos knew that this used to be a bread basket a very long time ago and wished for that power to return. He used the resources he had gathered from The Ancient Eye to build his people a new home even if they later moved on and only a portion stayed here. Once in position he designed alongside the legions and the imperial corps of engineers the entire city, section by section and block by block.

Every sector of the city is optimized to generate as much food and produce as possible while also allowing for dynamic trade and a prosperous middle class, them being the center of Mythos' desire for a strong population. The strategical placement of the city is no coincidence, it is surrounded by several military bases and military training operation command for the special operations training wing of the molok legion. The city is guarded by them, it being such an important strategical location military presence is high in the city.

In the center the three monolithic structures stand and can be seen from miles, The Magnus Tower, The Panathan Tower and The Second Academy. Each of them represent a seat of power, a triumvirate of power in the empire as Mythos sees it; The Emperor, Him and the brotherhood. From the Magnus tower to the Academy there are tunnels and entryways as Mythos designed them as to let him go there to teach sometimes.

All Sith Lords are allowed inside and all Knights are allowed to go and learn in there from Sith Lords however the academy is of advanced teaching and learning and as such Acolytes are barred from entering as well as any civilian not priory authorized.

"Before it was just grasslands with no purpose. It now serves as a great city"

Alright, just a couple of things we need to address here otherwise this submission looks solid. First, and I know this is an annoying request, but could I trouble you to move your image credit links up into the image credit field? I appreciate the attempt at making our job easier, but we're kinda sticklers for using the proper fields here.

Second, I'd just like you to expand a little more on your accessibility field. You say it is Open, and yet this is a highly secured and heavily patrolled city. Are there checkpoints? What are the city's outer limits like? Is the spaceport the most common way in? Stuff like that. I would just like to know a little more about what a character might have to deal with when entering or leaving the city.
