PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Myra Vanek is a poised Human woman in her early forties who appears somewhat younger than her official age, a result of careful discipline, excellent medical care, and a life spent mastering presentation as much as deception. She has sharp, aristocratic features, dark eyes, and black hair often worn in a controlled bun, loose updo, or practical field style depending on the situation. Her expression rarely gives away more than she intends.

In uniform, Myra favors severe black tailoring with red accents, polished boots, gloves, and minimal ornamentation save for rank plaques, command insignia, or the symbols of the Final Dawn. Off duty or undercover, she adapts with unsettling ease, moving from austere officer to polished socialite to forgettable merchant with only a change of clothing, posture, and voice.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS

Myra is cold, composed, and precise. She believes information is the purest form of power, and that most battles are won long before soldiers ever enter the field. Her loyalty to the Final Dawn is not sentimental; it is ideological, practical, and deliberate. She sees order as civilization’s only defense against chaos, and she considers mercy useful only when it serves a larger objective.

She is not needlessly cruel, but she is entirely capable of cruelty when it produces results. Subtlety is her preferred weapon. She enjoys moving people into positions where they believe they have chosen their own defeat. Myra is patient, observant, and almost never raises her voice.

STRENGTHS

Veteran Intelligence Officer: Myra has served across multiple Imperial intelligence structures and understands surveillance, infiltration, interrogation, counterintelligence, and political threat assessment.

Command Presence: As a Sector Commander, she projects authority with minimal effort and is skilled at coordinating agents, informants, and military assets across large theaters.

Master of Masks: Myra can shift between formal command, diplomatic charm, and covert anonymity with ease.

Strategic Patience: She prefers layered plans, long games, and controlled outcomes over reckless displays of force.

WEAKNESSES

Control Obsession: Myra struggles when events become genuinely chaotic or when subordinates act outside her designs.

Limited Trust: Years in intelligence have left her deeply suspicious, making genuine alliances difficult.

Political Exposure: Her candidacy for Director places her under scrutiny from rivals, superiors, and enemies alike.

Not a Frontline Specialist: While trained and dangerous, Myra is most effective as a planner and operative rather than a battlefield duelist or shock trooper.

HISTORY

Myra Vanek was born on Galidraan in the Greater Tion, raised among old Imperial sympathies, aristocratic expectations, and the quiet lesson that power belonged to those disciplined enough to seize it. From a young age she displayed an aptitude for reading people, remembering inconsistencies, and keeping her own thoughts hidden.

She entered the Imperial Intelligence Academy in 878 ABY, where her instructors noted a rare blend of patience, ambition, and emotional restraint. From 882 to 885 ABY she served as a Junior Agent within the ISB of the New Imperial Order, learning the brutal mechanics of internal security and political loyalty. By 885 ABY she had advanced into the IMP, where she spent fourteen years operating through informant networks, covert assignments, and counter-subversion campaigns.

In 899 ABY, Myra entered service as a Special Agent within the ISB under the Dark Empire, surviving the volatile politics of Imperial resurgence and collapse. By 902 ABY, her experience made her useful to both the ISS/TIC and the Prolitorate of the Final Dawn, where she rose to the title of Sector Commander.

Now a candidate for Director within the Prolitorate, Myra Vanek stands as a veteran of several Imperial intelligence traditions: polished, ruthless, and difficult to remove. To her, loyalty is not a virtue. It is a tool. Control is victory. Information is power.
