The MX-T28 Type Airspeeder is a heavily armed atmospheric combat craft manufactured by Aether Systems for exclusive service within the Mandalorian Empire. Developed from the proven T-24 Airspeeder platform, the MX-T28 was designed to bridge the gap between conventional reconnaissance speeders and dedicated close-support gunships by combining advanced scouting capabilities with substantial offensive firepower and enhanced battlefield survivability. Serving in reconnaissance, patrol, and aerial assault roles, the MX-T28 is equipped with three Ap/11 Laser Cannons and a powerful M-g-2 General Purpose Launcher capable of deploying HE Missiles, Armor-Piercing Shells, and Ion Torpedoes. This versatile armament package allows a craft to engage a broad spectrum of targets, including infantry formations, armored vehicles, fortified positions, hostile speeders, and electronic warfare targets.
