This gave me the illest feels especially this week, because I just finished watching some random single-episode anime where the girl had a reunion with the guy she loved as a kid but had ran away from because she's a fox demon and didn't want to end up accidentally killing him one day, but she leaves him again the next morning before he awakes anyways. It was especially sad because he told her he became a merchant so he could travel and find her, only for her to leave again. ;n;
