Drakon Teague
Character
Drakon entered the Cantina on Borgo Prime, looked around for his contact. Drakon didn't know much about the man hiring him just that he'd put the word out through the grape vine that he was interested in hiring some muscle. For Drakon the piracy raids had been a little slow lately. Ever since the fall of the Black Sun his dreams of becoming a pirate king seemed to be a thing of the past, at least for now. Right now Drakons only goal was to keep his crew together, profitable and loyal. Profit was the key word in that particular sentence. A crew would stay together and loyal only for so long as there was profit, success, booty preferably with as minimum amount of casualties as possible. If not that then the rewards needed to be commensurate to the amount of losses suffered.
A few more bad raids, Drakon would be not only out of a crew, they could very well turn on him entirely. An easy way for a subordinate to become captain themselves was to mutiny. So Drakon needed this job, he wouldn't say desperately, not yet, but perhaps urgently.
Not that it'd do his prospective employer that impression. Nothing drove the hiring price down more than desperation to be employed. Besides if Drakon accepted the employment for too little he may as well sign himself up for a mutiny right now.
Drakon looked for his potential client. There he was. The eye patch gave him away. Drakon had to admit it did give him his own certain piratical air and carriage of his person. Drakon did what he could to emphasize a certain atmosphere wherever he went, it helped that like most times he was armed to the teeth, with four scattergun blaster pistols, two cortosis swords, two lightsabers and his wristmounted blades hidden in his robes.
Resisting the urge to fiddle with them to reassure him of their presence, Drakon approached the one eyed figure.
"Calyx Sundrift? Heard you might have a job for me and my crew. Fair warning we ain't cheap" Drakon greeted as he sate down and waved at the waitress. She knew his order Hapan rum. Drakon had decided on a familiar port, and a familiar cantina for this little meeting.
