Munto Codru is a remote and often-overlooked world of the Outer Rim Territories, situated within the Codru system along the Overic Griplink between Pakuuni and the Calamari sector. For countless generations it has been the ancestral home of the Codru-Ji, a remarkable species whose young are born as canine-like wyrwulfs before undergoing a natural metamorphosis into their mature forms.

The planet itself is a realm of untamed wilderness, where rugged mountain ranges stretch across the continents and vast forests threaded through the valleys like emerald veins. Great oceans cover much of the world's surface, isolating distant communities and fostering a culture of resilience, self-sufficiency, and reverence for the natural rhythms of their homeland.

Though distant from the great centers of galactic power, Munto Codru endured for centuries as a proud and independent world whose people maintained their traditions amidst the changing tides of history.

Yet isolation proved no shield against the ambitions of outsiders. Across the ages, Munto Codru suffered beneath one conquest after another as warlords, corporations, criminal syndicates, and competing governments sought to exploit its strategic position and untapped resources.

Each occupation left scars upon the planet, stripping away what little wealth, destabilizing local identities, and eroding much of the prosperity the Codru-Ji had once enjoyed.

By the modern era, many regions of Munto Codru had fallen into decline, its infrastructure fractured and its people burdened by generations of neglect and foreign domination.

It is in this age of uncertainty that the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant has turned its gaze toward the troubled world. Presenting itself as both guardian and benefactor, the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant has begun extending temporary aid, reconstruction efforts, and security assistance to the struggling Codru-Ji.

While some view these actions as a genuine effort to restore stability and protect a vulnerable people, others regard them as the latest chapter in the planet's long history of outside influence. Regardless of perspective, the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant seeks to bring Munto Codru beneath its watchful protection, promising renewal for a world long left in ruin.

Objective 1 - Munto Codru Spaceport

The Munto Codru Spaceport stands as a monument to decades of neglect, its aging landing platforms fractured, its hangars rusted and hollow, and many of its once-bustling terminals left abandoned to the encroaching wilderness. Despite its ruined condition, the spaceport remains one of the planet's most valuable assets, possessing the potential to transform Munto Codru into a thriving hub of commerce along the Overic Griplink and reconnect the world to regional trade networks.

Recognizing this opportunity, the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant has committed resources toward the reconstruction of the long-defunct facility, a gesture many interpret as a sign of faith in the future of the Codru-Ji and an expression of trust that prosperity and stability can once again take root on Munto Codru.
  • Assist in the rebuilding of the spaceport. (Since it's vanilla, design it how you see fit)
  • Form Contracts with local businesses to bring profits to the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant via usage of the Spaceport.

Objective 2 - The Forbidden Castle

The Forbidden Castle is an ancient and enigmatic structure located near the capital, believed to have been constructed by a long-extinct alien civilization that inhabited Munto Codru long before the emergence of the Codru-Ji. Within its weathered exterior lies a bewildering labyrinth of winding corridors, hidden chambers, and interconnected mazes. For generations, the Codru-Ji have regarded the castle with fear and superstition, avoiding its halls and surrounding grounds as they believe it to be the dwelling place of malevolent spirits and forgotten entities best left undisturbed.
  • Debunk the Superstition. Prove to the Codru-Ji the castle is NOT haunted by showing the bravery of the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant.
  • Explore the ancient castle.

Objective 3 - Alliance

The Mahporeem Imperial Remnant views the Codru-Ji as a resilient and honorable people whose strategic location and steadfast character make them valuable allies in the uncertain Outer Rim. Through a formal alliance, the Remnant would gain a loyal partner along the Overic Griplink while the Codru-Ji would receive security, economic investment, and assistance in rebuilding the institutions and infrastructure lost through centuries of conquest and neglect. To the leaders of the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant, such a pact represents not domination but mutual prosperity, forging a partnership in which both Munto Codru and the Imperial Remnant emerge stronger, more stable, and better prepared to face the challenges of the modern galaxy.
  • With the Codru-Ji following a government based off tribal beliefs and lifestyles, their is no one leader that acts as the voice of the Codru-Ji. In order to secure an alliance, all the tribal leaders must be brought into the fold, under one banner: The Mahporeem Imperial Remnant.

Prystill Oasay had performed before crime lords who measured applause in credits, before Sith who viewed beauty as another commodity to possess, and before politicians who smiled with their mouths while negotiating with their eyes. Those experiences had taught her one lesson above all others. The first conversation was never about the words. It was about respect.

The shuttle settled onto the prepared landing area with little fanfare. Prystill had insisted upon that. Military spectacle might impress some worlds, but after reading every report she could find on the Codru-Ji, she suspected arriving with banners and marching troops would only remind them of every occupier who had promised prosperity before demanding obedience.

Instead, she stepped down wearing attire that balanced Imperial professionalism with practical simplicity. There were no excessive jewels, no extravagant gowns befitting the performer once known as Diva Pry. Only a neatly tailored outfit suitable for diplomacy, accented by the vibrant colors that naturally accompanied her Theelin heritage. Her green hair had been tied back, allowing the elegant sweep of her horns to remain unobstructed.

She paused at the foot of the ramp. The forests seemed almost impossibly alive. Fresh air replaced the recycled atmosphere of transports. Birdsong echoed somewhere beyond the treeline while distant mountains stood like ancient sentinels overlooking generations of history. Beautiful... and fiercely guarded.

I can understand why they'd fight to keep it that way.

A warm smile found her lips as several local guides and representatives approached. It wasn't forced. Prystill genuinely enjoyed meeting new people. Yet behind bright reddish eyes, her mind had already begun cataloging details. Who walked beside whom. Who spoke first. Who deferred. Who watched silently. Power rarely announced itself.

She offered a respectful incline of her head before speaking. "My name is Prystill Oasay. And this is my droid, MX-4X. Thank you for allowing me to visit your home." No titles. No declarations of Imperial authority. No assumptions.

"I've spent enough of my life around people who arrived believing they already knew what was best for everyone else." A small, self-aware chuckle escaped her. "I'd rather not become one of them."

The honesty surprised even herself, though not enough to regret it. "I wasn't sent here simply to ask for an alliance." Her gaze drifted toward the forests before returning to those before her. "I was sent to understand the people we'd hope to call allies."

There was a significant difference. One sought signatures. The other sought trust. "The Mahporeem Imperial Remnant believes both our peoples could become stronger together." She spread her hands openly. "But if I'm going to speak on behalf of such a future, then I'd rather first learn what your tribes value... what they've lost... and what they refuse to lose again."

The performer in her knew how to command a crowd. The survivor knew when silence carried greater weight than another speech. So Prystill simply smiled—bright, approachable, entirely genuine—and waited for the Codru-Ji to decide whether this outsider deserved the beginning of a conversation.

Objective III - The Forbidden Castle

The locals spoke in hushed voices, as though fearful that the very stones of Munto Codru might overhear them and carry their words into some unseen darkness.

They told me of pale lights that wandered the corridors of the Forbidden Castle long after sunset, of mournful cries that drifted from its shattered towers during moonless nights, and of travelers who entered its labyrinthine depths only to emerge days later with hollow eyes and fractured minds.

I listened in silence, my cane resting against my shoulder, the cold wind stirring the hem of my coat. When their tales finally dwindled into uneasy silence, I inclined my head and asked,
"Has there been any documentation to support these haunting claims, or is it merely superstition woven into local folklore?"

The question struck them harder than I expected.

The two exchanged nervous glances, their expressions tightening beneath the weight of uncertainty.

Neither answered.

They did not need to.

In that brief moment of shared discomfort, I found the answer I sought. Legends often grow from shadows, but certainty was not among their possessions.

A faint smile touched my lips.
"Thank you for your time," I said, offering them a courteous bow of the head before turning away. Behind me stood three Wardens of the First Hunger, noble figures cloaked in dark vestments, their presence as silent as gravestones beneath a winter sky.

"Remain here," I instructed them. "See that the shipments reach Capital Codru without delay. The people require those supplies more than I require company."

They bowed in unison, accepting the command without question. Leaving them amidst the bustle of transportation hovercrafts and hired laborers, I set forth alone. Ahead, upon a distant rise, the Forbidden Castle loomed against the darkening heavens like the mummified body of some primordial hero.

Its black stone walls swallowed what little light remained, and its countless windows resembled empty eye sockets gazing upon the world with ancient malice.

Yet the sight stirred not fear within me, but curiosity. What was haunting this castle?

With each measured step, I drew closer to the fortress of forgotten ages, allowing the gathering twilight to embrace me as I walked toward the dark and foreboding castle and whatever secrets slumbered within its endless maze of shadows.

CAPTAIN RONHAR TANE, TK-3301
MUNTO CODRU, NEUTRAL SPACE
OBJECTIVE II: THE FORBIDDEN CASTLE

Ronhar had never really been the spiritual type.

In fact, as much as he dealt with death on a daily basis, he never really stopped to consider what would happen after his own untimely demise. The Jedi and Sith, at least, seemed convinced that there was some sort of afterlife waiting for them at the end of their time in the galaxy, but Ronhar wasn't really to sure himself. He definitely didn't believe in ghost or spirits or anything like that.

That was, at least, until Ronhar had fought Darth Carnifex Darth Carnifex and his specters back during the Second Battle of Brosi.

He still remembered them quite vividly: green skeletal warriors armed with swords and nearly impossible to destroy by conventional means. Ronhar wasn't entirely sure what they were, or even if they had been real, but that day those skeletons had nearly cost him his life. There was no telling if this so called "Forbidden Castle" harbored such creatures within its walls, or if there was something else at play going on. Regardless, Ronhar and his men were going to get to the bottom of things to find out for themselves once and for all!

The MIN Night Reaver landed just outside the perimeter of the Forbidden Castle, and Ronhar and his men jumped out, ready to begin their survey of the fortress. The area around him was eerily quiet, and as far as Ronhar could tell, there were no guards or defenses to prevent their entry into the castle proper. Apparently fear and superstition was stronger than any sort of physical impediments that one could muster to prevent people from accessing the entrance to the castle. It certainly looked the part, foreboding and intimidating to even highly experienced special operation types. It didn't take a genius to figure out why no one ever visited.

It also didn't take a genius to figure out that entering the castle might just be a terrible idea.

Still, if Ronhar could debunk the existence of any ghosts, than his reputation with the locals would skyrocket upwards, and Imperial occupation might just be seen a bit more favorably over the long run. Plus, chance were that the castle was unoccupied and all the rumors about it were completely unwarranted.

So be it.

Ronhar and his men quickly made their way forward as they began to explore the grounds around the castle itself before attempting to go inside...

Alex Stern

Outer Rim Resources Director

Objective 1 - Munto Codru Spaceport

Rather than move a planet's worth of supplies into the area all at once as they had at Mahporeem, Outer Rim Resources moved assets into the area with their GR-90 Transports. One had landed near the spaceport to begin unloading reconstruction materials and a fusion-forming droid to begin resurfacing the area with its wide emitter. The other two set down as Alex and the foremen gathered around a map freshly scanned during their descent to plan around the surrounding buildings. Rebuilding the entire block was tempting, but kicking out the locals to put in what the company thought should be there was a terrible idea. Instead, it was decided to send out scouts to assess what was still good construction in use and what was better condemned as a danger.

Eventually it was decided to fusion form the streets leading out of the spaceport and through the surrounding established settlement to a new district Outer Rim Resources would put together. Looking over the proposed maps, Alex nodded. "Right, get the droids going on the streets and landing pads in the spaceport. We'll present this to the locals and get their take on it while that's going on." Hopefully fixing the roads would go some way to proving their intentions to the Codru-ji. They'd only asked for the spaceport to be fixed up, but people and goods needed a place to go once landed. Sending them to the new district through the established locals gave the Codru-ji a chance to get them into local shops and cantinas.

As his people got to work, Alex stepped out with the proposal rolled up in a sheet of flimsy in one hand and a cup of caff in the other. Others were doing the same, but he liked his approachable everyman routine, just another worker in his slightly scruffy nerf-hide jacket as he went out to poll the locals.
