Intent: To create a heavy, anti-materiel rifle for use both on and off the battlefield to be supplied to the Mandalorian military.
Development Thread: N/A
Manufacturer: Mandal Hypernautics
Affiliation: Mandalorians
Modularity: Yes, scopes, bipods, and other weapon add ons, upgrades, and ammunition types.
Production: Limited
Material: Durasteel
Description: Realizing the need for a high velocity, heavy hitting rifle, Mandal Hypernautics, working in conjunction with Mythosaur Munitions and spearheaded by Arrbi Betna, created the Mun'Beviin Anti-Material Rifle.

The Mun'Beviin is unique to weapons of its class for many reasons, but one stands head and shoulders above the rest: the weapon is a blaster/slug thrower hybrid. Using existing technology like the Tusken Cycler Rifle and Tenloss Corporations' Ambassador Revolver as inspirations, designers worked hard to meld the two technologies together. As a result, the Mun'Beviin has the hard hitting and highly penetrating ability of a high caliber slug thrower with the thermal energy and effectiveness of a blaster weapon.

The weapon was designed to penetrate thick walls, vehicle armor, and even biological armor with relative ease to cause grievous wounds and heavy damage to whatever stood behind the objects or armor. The rifle's long range also allows the user to engage targets far beyond the effective range of their own weapons allowing users to destroy targets with little to no risk of substantial engagement danger. The Mun'Beviin is also modular and features various add ons and attachments such as high powered scopes, bipods, suppressors, and carbon fiber alternative parts and is compatible with alternative ammunition in its caliber.

The major downside of the weapon is the weight of both rifle and ammunition. The rifle weighs 15kg and the heavy, .52 caliber ammunition is weighty when carried in bulk. Both of these will weigh down the user substantially unless proper load bearing equipment or gear is used. The weapon also semi-automatic and cannot be rapid fired. It also requires a power pack change every one hundred shots. The Mun'beviin is also bulky and unwieldy in close quarters and is more or less ineffective in hand to hand.
