- Name: Mud-Walkers
- Designation: Sentient
- Origins: The Void Terminal
- Average Lifespan: 110-140 Galactic Standard Years
- Estimated Population: Rare
- Description: A humanoid race sporting lavender/light-blue skin and tail-like legs composed of bone structures not to dissimilar to spinal cords. Thousands of years ago they were a singular tail, indicative of an aquatic species, but they've since split into poorly optimized legs for terrestrial habitation. While seeming humanoid, genetically they are fish, not Mamalian.
- Breathes: Type 1 and 2
- Average Height of Adults: 1.7 Meters
- Average Length of Adults: .3 Meters
- Skin color: Lavender/Light Blue
- Hair color: Light Colors: Blondes, whites, light blues and greens...
- Distinctions: A split-tail that has evolved into a pair of unstable bipedal legs, sporting scales and reduntant fins that no longer serve a purpose. While once being aquatic, the Mud-Walkers have completely lost the ability to breath under water by the present day.
- Force Sensitivity: Standard
- High intelegence.
- Resiliance as a species.
- Increased electrical resistance.
- Highly unstable due to poorly evolved legs.
- Low technological advancement,
- Increased sensitivity to the cold.
- Diet: Herbivore
- Communication: Spoken basic.
- Technology level: Primitive
- Religion/Beliefs: The Walkers share a general lack of religious beliefs, with their stagnant development causing a lack of development in a unified and organized religion of any kind.
- General behavior: Generally confused. Mud-Walkers settle in villages, start families with commited relationships, and spend their days harvesting resources, but they are stagnant as a people. As Walkers grow into adulthood, they are likely to lose motivation and develop a long-standing boredom. The grey planet they inhabit is the largest contributer to this, alongside their stunted evolutionary development.
A species displaced by the Rakata thousands of years ago. Once the Mud-walkers, or "Walkers" for short, were a race of sea-dwelling folk with a humanoid upper half and a fish-like lower half. They once inhabited the lush oceans of ancient Tatooine before the Infinite Empire glassed the planet, reducing it to the desert observed in the modern era. Individuals would escape this event via sleeper ship, invented in the solitude of their homes in the depths, advanced enough to transport a handful of their ancient ancestors in carbonite to the sad and dreary Void Terminal. Here they would find toxic water and small seas, forcing the species to be relegated to terrestrial dwelling. In response to this change in environment, the Walkers would begin to evolve bipedalism, their tails splitting and forming an improvised pair of legs over thousands of years of development. Unfortunately, these legs are unstable, retaining the spine-like structure that they had evolved for their past world. While this adaptation is passable, the race seems to have hit an evolutionary roadblock and has stagnated. They have also regressed technologically, being in a medieval state technologically post relocation.
