Strengths:
  • A compact rod canister for use in transporting and storing fuel. The combination of Agrinium, Alusteel, matrix armor, plastiray, ensures that the fuel within is protected from energy, emp/ion, and moderate kinetic charges.
  • Failsafe of shields provide a secondary layer of protection in the event the canister is cracked or explodes.
Weaknesses:
  • Sustained focused damage may crack or break the container, resulting in the potential detonation of any flammable, explosive, or unstable fuel stored inside it.
  • If the shields fail and these portable energy collectors are hit, each canister may cause quite a destructive explosion on par with a thermal detonator.

DESCRIPTION

MaraTibx and Fuels along with Arceneau Trade continue their expansion into sustainable energy sources. To assist with this, the creation of a more stable fuel canister and rod assembly was drafted. The end result was a compact rod container for use in transporting and storing fuel. The combination of Agrinium, Alusteel, matrix armor, plastiray, ensures that the fuel within is protected from energy, emp/ion, and moderate kinetic charges.

Arceneau Trade had already researched the volatile Quintessence energy and created the BDC 78 Energy collector. Using the same technology and enhancing it, they created the MTX - Fuel Canisters.

Safety is paramount when it came to any fuel product, especially that which will store it. A combination of energy shields, particle shields, and a thermal oscillator was built into around the hollow chamber that would hold the fuel.

To ensure the electrical components were able to survive an accidental Ion or EMP attack, all electrical components are sprayed down with Plastiray. None the less, if all these failsafe's fail, then the resulting explosion of a direct hit may be that of a thermal detonator.
