Description: A remotely activated sonic emitter. It has two main purposes. 1. To propel the user off the ground, as a jetpack would 2. Emits sound at different frequencies into an environment. when used for propulsion, it created powerful sound waves that are beyond the range of hearing. It can be fitted into multiple forms of transport systems, where rockets would normally be applied. Whole thing is controlled by remote dials on a secure channel, and these dials can work from up to 30 feet away. Whole thing painted jet black.

For propulsion purposes, it can act like a jetpack. It's a form of individual transport. When emitting sound waves, it is weaponized. At a high enough frequency, it can incapacitate opponents by driving these sound waves into their eardrums. It can also be used to shatter glass and other such materials, sometimes in a quick escape.

Thank you. My character wears a shell spider silk balaclava, so the thick material should block the noise, as long as the dial is not set to the silk's corresponding frequency.

That.. really does not make any sense. Sound waves create vibrations, and spider silk are created by spiders with the intention of easily vibrating to know when an insect has been trapped on the web. While this certainly wouldn't mean it would amplify the sound waves by any meaningful degree, it would not prevent the sound from penetrating it at any thickness - especially not when the pitch and decibel count is high enough to injure a human or shatter glass.

I'm also not very convinced that a jetpack can be powered in any significant measure through sound.

Good point, thanks for the insight. I will have to end up developing some sort of resistance armoring for the device. On the other hand, I think concentrated, amplified sound waves would be able to propel someone off the ground. Think of it as a blast of air propelling someone through the air, but achieving the means through sound instead.

After a bit more research, there is real-life technology capable of doing so to a minor degree, but do not expect to be flying hundreds of meters in the air or reaching terminal velocity.
