[member="Danger Arceneau"] - I am suprised that such a large of a company as yours took interest in a budding company, but the Guild welcomes any investment plans with open arms. Please contact me with further details, and we can discuss a meeting date. I look forward to doing business with Arceneau.

~Mrrew

(And here I was worried that your exotic animal capture service would be competition. This is a welcome suprise. :D)

And thus, ask and Danger delivers.

In this case, with an invitation for [member="Mrrew"] to join her at her companies main headquarters on Tatooine. Arceneau Trade Company was by far the largest trade goods, freighter, and shipping operation neigh on the known galaxy. With trade stations scattered around Mandalorian, Confederacy ( Now ASA ), Sanctum, Black Sun, and now dabbling in Protectorate and Republic territories, Arceneau was the way to go when one needed to deal with good.

A pioneer in the service industry, there wasn't anyone who didn't know her name. Like she done told her daddy's grave, she would make Arceneau Trade a household name.

She done did just that.

Now, expansion was always her game, and she had most recently delved into expanding her exotic animal capture into a more... selective venture. Mainly, gladiatorial in nature. It seemed the south systems certainly enjoyed their blood sport.

While she had been expanding, a new name in exotic animal capture caught her attention. Piquing her interest.

So, a few comm messages had them here, in her office, with her guest soon to arrive. A glass of whiskey would lightly rock in her hand, the large ball of ice clicking against the sides.

Mmm... profit. There was profit in everything.

If you can't beat em. Join 'em -- with a heck of an offer that would be too good to resist.

Mrrew's freighter pierced the thin atmosphere of Tatooine, gliding expertly towards the ground as it searched for a landing pad close to Arceneau Trade Company's headquarters. Flown by Mrrew's astrodroid, of course. Meanwhile, the Togorian was in his quarters, getting ready for the meeting. It was the first thing on his list to do now that he was back from his trip; meet with the CEO of Arceneau. Lucien had done a wonderufl job managing the guild while he was gone, but some things required Mrrew himself. And if Arceneau was interested in investing in the Beast Hunter's Guild, then it could be extremely helpful for the guild. It was a small company still- Tier I- but Mrrew was hoping to expand soon... and with the arrival of competition in the form of a similer company, he couldn't afford to do anything but that. This meeting with [member="Danger Arceneau"] could determine the future of the Beast Hunter's Guild- an investment from one of the largest companies in the galaxy would decide whether or not the Guild was to be overrun by competition. No pressure.

Soon after the freighter landed and the ramp lowered, the Togorian strolled down the landing ramp, looking up to the large building that served as Arceneau's headquarters. Normally he would wear the ill-fitting suit he donned when trying to appear as a buissnessman, but he'd given up on that. So Mrrew strolled into the main lobby of the headquarters wearing his normal gear; a leather vest, his bandoleir and gunbelt, and his normal assortment of weapons. Probably scaring the poodoo out of the seceratary.

"I have an apointment."

It wasn't long before a lissome Rutian Twi'lek came to escort [member="Mrrew"] into Danger's office. Big violet eyes and a winning smile, Quroa was a new addition to the Guild House. She spent her time mainly in administrative work, but by the careful and sensual manner she would walk, suggested she had higher tier training.

"Miz. Arceneau is expecting you, Mistah Mrrew," came Quroa's coo, her pale blue hand entering the security code to the turbo lift that would allow them to ascend to the third level. From there, her sultry grace would lead the man up the lift, the doors opening into a twin wide double doors flanked by large Herglic Guards.

A sight to see, but one required. "Come, this way." she would say, as the wide double doors slid open to reveal the long vast room of Danger Arceneau's main headquarters office. Here all manner of intricacies native to Tatooine would be on display. A Krayt Dragon skull with five large pearls of exquisite perfection, a Tuskan Raider armor set, and her vast blaster collection was just a small part of the design.

At the far corner, the titan maned queen of trade would give a welcoming smile, her familiar voluptuous form standing against a far window. Her emerald eyes caught sight of the broad shouldered Togorian Guild Leader of the Beast Hunter's guild.

"Well.... I must say, tis a pleasure." came her throaty coo, as full hips came to amble in a slow sensual walk at Mreww.

"Welcome to Tatooine Mistah Mrrew."

Mrrew followed the Twi'lek off towards the office, paying the secretary very little attention- most likely much less then she was used to. The Togorian glanced around the building as they moved through it, taking note of every turn, just in case he would need to make a hasty escape. You can never be too careful. As they stepped into [member="Danger Arceneau"]'s office, the first thing he noticed was the Krayt Dragon skull. Surely she didn't kill it herself.... But still, it was an excellent trophy. And five pearls...? It must have been a greater. The Togorian slowly glanced up from the display case, and nodded to the redhead across the room from him, raising a large clawed hand for the human ritual of shaking hands.

"A pleasure to meet you..."

[member="Mrrew"]

Those clawed hands delicately shook her own, and Danger gave him a wide smile. A hand would then sweep over towards a large chair for him to take. "Please, have a seat." she would then move towards the barkeep, where she would ask over her shoulder.

"Pick your poison?" in reference for something to drink. "Care for anything to eat?" ever the cordial hostess, she took a flask of whiskey and began to pour herself a drink.

"I take it your trip down to my little neck of the woods has gone well?"

Mrrew smiled, noting that [member="Danger Arceneau"] thought ahead far enough to provide a chair fitting his stature. Most people tried to get him to sit in something that would hardly fit an Ewok. The Togorian slowly lowered himself in the overszed chair, before glancing at the barkeeper. He never even noticed the bar... Who has a bar in their office? The Togorian shook his head.

"i wouldn't necsarilly call Tatooine a woods..." Mrrew was not known for understanding figures of speech. "But yes. Everything went well."

[member="Mrrew"]

At that Danger gave a small chuckle, "No... no indeed it ain't." she replied back, setting the flask back down. "Refreshment?" she asked again, perhaps because he had taken her last question too seriously. It went over his head.

"So, I hear the Beast Hunters Guild has been doing right kindly thus far." she began, bringing the glass to her lips to take a sip of the fiery liquid.

"Must be right proud."

Mrrew smiled, and nodded. Refreshments could be nice. He hoped she didn't mean peanuts or something... The Togorian smiled again as she mentioned the progress the Guild had made. He also noted her accent. "We've expanded from me flying around in a ship, hunting Terentateks with a Shattergun, to dozens of hunters capturing or killing any non-sentient (or semi-sentient) thing that moves. And the Guild wil lbe expanding more in the near future, no doubt."

[member="Mrrew"]

She decided to play it safe and pour him whiskey. Who didn't like whiskey? "I'll have Oona bring over something to nibble on." she relayed over to the large Togorian.

Her brows rose at his claim. "Sounds like an exciting time." Once she was done pouring his drink, she would start walking over towards him. A hand would extend offering his.

"So what is your capacity so far?" she began to ask. " Are all the hunters contractors? Do they provide their own ships? Or is the guild in charge of all the details of logistics, arms, and neurotoxins to safely knock out the beasts?" she went round her desk, asking more questions.

"What about insurance? Does the guild carry a guarantee on their beasts in terms of health for a certain period of time?"

Mrrew took the glass of whiskey with a fang-filled smile, sniffing it a few times before taking a sip. You could never be to careful, even with buisness partners. There were all kinds of poisons in the galaxy. Mrrew's eyebrows raised as she began to rattle off questions. This was good. It showed that she was interested. Mrrew was happy enough to awnser them.

"Each of the hunters are more or less independant; we collect an order, and offer the contract to our network of hunters. We will supply beast transport, if needed, and supply any gear that may be needed. Chiru Rifles, SMartTranq, et cetera. The Guild is careful not to capture any sick or injured beasts- if needed unharmed, of course. The Guild gaurentees that any specimins delivered will be in prime condition, unelss specified otherwise by the client."

Mrrew shifted in his seat to a more comfortable position, taking another small sip of whiskey.

[member="Mrrew"]

Danger gave a nod at the Togorian. She made herself comfortable in her seat. "So you are growing. " she gave a nod, "What is the current profit margin compared to standard business investments for the costs of upkeep, administration, and supplies?" she asked, crossing her right leg over her left.

All of these questions were based so as to get a feel of where the Guild was at. The man had a promising company, and his methods were proving to work well in his area of expertise.

"What are your strengths right now? How about your area of needs?"

Mrrew frowned. See this is why he wasn't much of a buisnessman. He knew how to hunt, and he could organize others to hunt. Sure, he'd gottent his far, so he had to be good enough. He knew how to set up investments, and expand the company. But he has an assitant droid for things like upkeep costs and profit margains... All he knew is, the Guild was making a lot of money, and expanding well. He hardly even knew what [member="Danger Arceneau"] was talking about. The Togorian shifted uncomfortably in his seat.

"Err- We're making plenty of credits. Nearly every order is over a million, sometimes two or three times that, and the price of beast transport, equipment, and SmartTranq is only in the thousands. Each hunter is paid a percentage of the proceeds of the hunt, depending on the hunter's seniority and skill level, but the Guild still makes hundreds of thousands of credits for even the smaller hunts. Larger deals, like, for instance, we had a contract for an Exogorth awhile ago, can give millions in profit. And that's just one hunt."

Mrrew shifted in his seat again. He was pretty sure he'd awnsered her question, but he wasn't certain... He never claimed to be a good buisnessman. He was just good enough.

"Strenghts of the company..." Mrrew frowned, and took a long sip of the whiskey to give him a moment to think. It wasn't exactly helping clear his mind, however...

"We've nearly cornered the market, there are very few companies that provide services like ours. In fact, the Guild has recently just signed a contract with Verres Trading; we have virtually no competition anymore... There's virtually nothing to stop us from expanding and growing constantly." Areas of need, Areas of need.... Mrrew pretended to pick something out of the fur on his arm, to give him a moment to think again.

"It takes awhile to fill orders, which can become a problem... Having to go out into the field and capture anything someone wants, ecpecially rare animals like Terentateks, can take time. The Guild is looking to eventually expand into farms, or ranches, of sorts... For the rarer animals."

The Togorian glanced back up at Danger, hoping that he answered her questions.

[member="Mrrew"]

That is when Danger gave a small smile, "Careful Mistah Mrrew... one can only corner a market based on just how much reach one has. This here is a big galaxy -- and an even bigger 'verse.

Supply and demand certainly can do wonders -- but there are others who can provide exotic animals a lot faster than what the Guild can provide." Knowledge was power, and with Danger were she was with her networking, she knew full well who was capable of giving the Guild a run for their money.

"Time is money, and for those looking for exotics Akure Executive is more than willing to provide farmraised exotic animals and sithspawn." she told him plainly. "That right there, is a company with the clout, knowledge and experience that shows in established breeding programs." She told him plainly.

"AEL is able to immediately provide shipment of sithspawn and breed exotic animals with a guaranteed heath chit included. Compared to finding a hired contractor to go do the job of flying to the planet, hunting the beast in question, making sure that it's healthy, trapping, caging, and then sending for delivery."

She gave a small nod of her head, her fingers tapping against the glass.

"So with that bit of information... how do you think you'll be able to expand with that kind of competition?"

*Insert wah wah waaah sound effect*

...Mrrew's face dropped. He knew of AEL, obviously. He was wearing multiple of their products as they spoke. And he did know of AEL's Terentatek farm... But he had no idea that they bred other animals then those. And he could make a pretty good guess, based on the way [member="Danger Arceneau"] was talking about them, that she was an investor. But, the fact that she called him here proved something. If she didn't think the Guild had a chance, she wouldn't have called him to Tatooine. Mrrew shifted in his seat, choosing his words carefully, before going on.

"Well, for one... To my knowledge, AEL can not provide literally any animal in the galaxy to it's customers. Farms can't do that. The Guild can. To my knowledge, AEL cannot offer animals trained to do anything from preform as war beasts, to mounts, to guard dogs. The Guild can. And to my knowledge, Akure Executive Leatherworks existed long before the Beast Hunter's Guild, and it was a major power before the Guild was even founded. Yet the guild's expanded."

Mrrew shrugged, trying to look and sound more confident then he really was. His pride for the Guild he'd created, however, did show.

"Plus, the Guild will expand into fields not covered by AEL. If we've made it this far with major competition, and we're still growing as we speak, why can't we make it farther?"

[member="Mrrew"]

That is when Danger's full red lips went curving into a wide smile. "Exactly Mistha Mrrew." she told him, glad that at least he had a measure of conviction and dedication despite what she just told him.

"Which is why I want to offer you a mutually beneficial arrangement if you will." she then went to tap a few keys upon her holoarray, and then suddenly, the full expanse of the galactic map came to show in a neat holographic picture. In it, the vast reach of Arceneau Trade could be seen from the numerous dots that signified various trade, fuel, production factories, and even included their own exotic animal capture. With a reach in nearly every single major galactic territory, Arceneau certainly had the connections to reach more people --- and get more contracts. She supplied Black Sun, The Mandalorians, Security Systems, and Tion's needs along with her other business associates. This was a chance to get in that network and use the South System Business Bazaar's resources for the Guild itself.

"In order to get a head of the game one needs to network --- and market. " she went leaning upon her chair, the tips of her fingers tenting. "I am willing to offer you that measure of reach Mistah Mrrew, in the manner of utilizing Arceneau Trade ships, supplies, and their current method of beast capture and pens I have littered across the galaxy. Whatever contracts come my way to fulfill any need from any government or patron wanting their exotic bit of flesh I'll send 'em over to you, and you fulfill any exotic beasts requirements that I need for ATC and its subsidiaries for it's products.

I'm also willing to invest credits into the Guild... for a percentage of the Guild's profits and proprietary rights. "

Mrrew supressed a sigh of relief as he saw that he passed [member="Danger Arceneau"]'s test.

The Togorian glanced to the galactic map, noting all the various locations Arceneau had expanded into. It was amazing, really. Danger's corporation probably had something in every sector of the galaxy... Mrrew straightened in his seat, realizing for the first time just how important Arceneau was. And they put interest in the guild... That helped Mrrew's ego a bit.

The ridges of whiskers over Mrrew's eyes raised at Danger's proposition. Help from Arceneau trade could definitely be helpful to the guild. With those resources, the Guild could expand ten times faster then it was already... He wasn't exactly sure what manner of Beast capture and pens Arceneau's hunters had, but he was sure they'd be useful as well. Plus, a major company advertising the Guild to any interested parties? This would be fantastic.

Mrrew started nodding the second Danger stopped talking.

"That would be..." Mrrew tired to choose a word, without sounding as excited as he really was. "That would be perfect. The Guild would be honoured to have the support of Arceneau."

Mrrew smiled, and nodded approval at the idea of an investment as well. This would be fantastic for the Guild, the chances for expansion would increase tenfold, plus buisness was sure to skyrocket with Arceneau's help. He'd have to hire more hunters.

[member="Mrrew"]

Danger gave a nod, taking another sip of her drink. "If this is the case, what percentage am I looking at from the Guild?" she asked bluntly about what she was going to get out of this. Some things were better left done right and out in the open. Was she getting a percentage of the company or would she be getting a percentage of the profits? It all had to be clear. Danger was known for her fair dealings, and she wasn't one to cross a business partner.

Here in her type of trade, a reputation was all someone had. And she had one to upkeep.

Mrrew, at this point, was honestly up to just about anything [member="Danger Arceneau"] proposed. And 80% of the company's stock still belonged to Mrrew, so, as long as he kept over 50%, he was happy to discuss the sale of any amount. At this point, he would've probably given her some stock for free if she asked, he was that ecstatic about the new deal with Arceneau. The Guild would expand like wildfire... Well, not that ecstatic. But close. The Guild was bound to be in the same league as AEL someday, if things continued like this...

"What do you have in mind?"

[member="Mrrew"]

Danger would tap her fingers upon her glass, mulling over what would be a fair deal. Bartering was always a fun little game, but one couldn't ask for too much to insult or too little to get no fun in the bartering.

So... she went with the first offer, a teasing smile crossing her lips "How about forty percent of the company stock?" she said, fully expecting him to ask for it to be whittled down. It was a game, all meant to be in good fun.

Granted, if he actually accepted it at forty, well then all the more better for her!

Mrrew literally didn't even know what bartering was. He did all of his shopping over the Holonet, and had never been in a Junk shop in his life. In fact, he'd only even ever stepped foot on Tatooine to hunt, or attend this meeting. Therefore, he had absaloutely no idea what [member="Danger Arceneau"] was doing, he assumed she was serious in he offer. And if he had that much stock to give, he'd probably agree to it. However, he'd already sold 20% of the Guild's stock awhile ago, and he wanted to keep fifty, for obvious reasons...

"Forty wouldn't be possible. What of twenty-nine?" That was as high as Mrrew could go with still keeping more then half of the Guild under his ownership.
