Description: MRE are most of all are designed as aid to all struggling worlds of Galaxy, although sold only in Omega Protectorate and allied territories to begin with. Each "brick" of MRE is packed with vitamins, proteins, minerals, and everything else an organic needs for nourishment and survival. They are not the greatest tasting food on the planet, but during starvation taste does not matter as much as nourishment, and that is exactly what MRE's are designed to deliver, more practical than anything. To provide immunization boost, MRE's also contain anti-viruses and vaccines for common diseases like cold, flue, and other previously known common viruses. The MRE also come in variants of specific immunization, they can be ordered to strengthen a specific species or to combat a plague or disease outbreaks.
The MRE were a brain-child of Lady Protector herself, proposed to HK-36, the head of Iron Chef Company, as a new cheap and effective foodsource, she described MRE as:
