RATIONALE
Mr. V's Quality Spirits came about when the proprietor decided that he'd seen enough action for one lifetime. With a bank account well padded from over a decade's worth of work not only as a mercenary, but as a security expert for several governments, he had far more money than he could reasonably expect to spend living the sort of quiet life he wanted, but not nearly enough to fund his hobby of drinking himself into a coma every night. And so he decided to turn his talents towards running a business, fulfilling his lifelong dream of never running out of liquor. That there's enough left over to sell to customers is a happy accident.
