It had been a few years since Ra'a'mah had been to Coruscant. Much wiser to the galaxy now and not the young girl that had been picked up off the streets, she had to be careful visiting her old home. Posing as the businesswoman she actually was gave the Sith lord far more freedom to come and go as she wanted.

She wore a façade over her Force ability and alignment. When she had been here before, she had been a neutral apprentice within the Force. Twice she had crossed paths with a strange man. Those times, he had been stronger than her within the Force and they had attempted to fight. A few blows had been exchanged, but either one or the other had run off and ended the fights.

Ra, while a sith, was far more businesslike and this is how she liked it. The code is what she followed and held close to herself, not caring about the fight for light or dark. As long as a person did not get her way of an objective, she did not care what they believed.

Now as a sith lord, she should be stronger than this man. A man she learned was named Drogh. In those years between their meetings, she had grown as a person and within certain factions gained power. Within them, she had access to information and could research almost anything.

What she didn't know was if he was still hanging around Coruscant and if he remembered her. If he did, it would be as a weak neutral apprentice. So that was how she portrayed herself now. Having met him in two bazaars and chaos chasing them...she hoped another meeting with him wouldn't be as volatile.

A rather latent skill she had within the Force was that of foresight. She knew going to Coruscant today was going to bring about a meeting with Drogh...

Drogh was huddled up against a small building in the depths below Coruscant. It seemed so cold, flickering neon lights gleaming across shops. Races of all kind walking about, speaking a thousand different tongues. It was all but a blur to Drogh, all of it. Drogh had been thinking, an awful lot recently. How despite the events of the galaxy changing so dramatically, that he was able to remain the same. Drogh thought back on Tatoonie, when he might have become a sith. How the grasp of power was so close, and here he was. Without a house, with barely enough credits to scrape by. His mind tearing him self apart, meddling voices inside his head. His dark tattered cloak soaked by old murky water and foul chemicals that leaked onto the broken roads. This place was a urban hell, Coruscant slow decline was starting to show it's self, like a festering tumor on ones flesh. Drogh thought that he would allow him self to sleep, if only for a bit. Then a sudden scream shook his mind, as he felt something tremble within the planet. A hidden shock wave only Drogh could feel, a horrid sensation gripping his body like talons. A aura he recognized, yet blurred and hazed in deceit. Drogh got up, his dark cloak following him as he walked. Old astromechs were used as fires, warming the impoverished people of this dark world. Lingering screams and the zooming and buzzing of ships echoed across the sunless skies, a constant reminder of the darkness.

Then, Drogh could feel it more and it was disturbingly close, and getting closer. A hiss, a burning hiss, yet she. Yes it was a she, someone he recognized, some one he remembered. Thoughts of hatred reminded him, yes the face was becoming clearer now, a name. She had a name what was her name? Ra, it was Ra. Why is she here?

@Ra'a'mah

When they came into sight of each other, Ra made an almost involuntary move to hover over near her blaster butt. This blaster had been picked up by her at their last meeting when oddly she had saved his life. Of course, he probably didn't know that or think of it. It seemed he could only think of violence between them. She stopped in her advance, nodded at him and for a brief moment lowered the façade she had on her Force.

If he remembered her from years ago, that weak and pathetic neutral and barely trained young woman...he would now feel a much stronger presence within the Force. While Ra was not an evil person by nature, she still followed the sith code. In doing this, it brought her alignment within the Force into the dark. Barely touching it though, she avoided the sure corruption of using the dark side. Most of her skills were neutral and thus did not affect her appearance.

She stopped walked and looked at what was once her foe. Within him she felt his desire to be more and her position now offered him that chance. The ball was in his court and she waited to see what he would with it.

Drogh's eyes were drawn to her behind his metallic weeping mask. Drogh did more then just stare, she was "balanced" in the force one would call it, but to Drogh it was something more else. Like a wave of white noise in the universe, Ra stood out, crackling with power he did not recognize. Drogh's own aura was a flickering light, his own paranoia and fear served as a unwilling inconsistent shield to his presence. A storm being stopped and stared again constantly, it was be difficult or at least unpleasant to read. Drogh felt a painful sting in the back of his head, a strike of fear and anger rushing to him like a drug. One thing was clear to Drogh, she wanted him to come over, say hello. Drogh imagined his thumbs digging into her eyes, bursting her brain. But then, perhaps not. Perhaps she wanted to talk? To mock him perhaps, a sarcastic smirk? One can hardly tell, she was already hiding something, although Drogh was not sure what.

Like a snake he slithered past the uncharted crowds, finding his way to Ra, she was hardly hard to miss. Creeping up towards her, blanketed by his filthy cloak, his voice almost a dark mumble "What do you want?"

@Ra'a'mah

He was full of chaos and unfocused potential. If a purpose could be found for him and he choose to have one, Drogh would be force to reckon with. In his current state, he was just festering and wouldn't grow.

Feeling his observation of her, Ra nodded. She was business before sith, but that didn't mean she was powerless. He would know that now. Moving like a serpent though the moving and unnoticing crowd, he made his to her.

His voice was dark and powerless. Meek when he should be strong. Asking what she wanted, Ra gave a small curl of a smile. There was no humor involved though.

"Me? I don't want anything from you, however, I came here to offer you something. If you care to listen."

Her eyes moved from his head down, taking in his filthy form and back up to his mask. This was all she had seen of Drogh. Was this all of him though or was there more? Many did not see beyond the surface and she didn't pry into him.

"Power and maybe purpose."

Drogh gave Ra a off look, hidden by his dull mask yet he was suspicious of her. Then he clenched his fist harder and harder, until his nails were digging into his palm. How dare she claim to have purpose, how dear she pretend to know what Drogh wants. "Purpose, your purpose or mine?" Drogh said in a spiteful tongue, questioning her. He doubted she was doing this from the bottom of her heart, there was a reason for this, Drogh knew well enough.

@Ra'a'mah

He wore his mask, it was all Ra had ever seen him wear along with his filthy cloak and clothes. Did he not have the desire to be more? The question hung in her mind as she watched Drogh. Her face, she kept as neutral as she could. He asked if the purpose she offered him was him or her and he got half of a smile. It didn't reach her eyes though.

"Perhaps both, Drogh. For now though, I offer to train you, if you would accept. Holding no strings or attachments. You can come or go as you see fit."

What she thought and felt were kept hidden from Drogh behind her mask of a face. Neutral beyond anything most people could do. Pointing at him and then motioning to the planet around them, Ra looked him in the eyes.

"Is this all you want?"

Drogh did not trust Ra. While she smiled at him, did all that she could to seem at least some what friendly, it was all to artificial to be trusted. She opened her hand to him, yet it could be spiked with a thousand lies, empty promises and "maybes". Drogh felt the world narrow down, as if all the other things around him disappeared. His eyes widen, as he began to fixate on Ra, his bloodshot and cloudy eyes glaring, trying desperately to see past it, what ever it was. Like staring at a statue, hoping it will turn it's head. The fear that plagued his mind, ringing like the bell it always was, a constant drum against the waves of his mind, a endless agonizing doubt and paranoia, that kept him in this filth. Then Drogh said, as if he had been greatly wronged.
"Why?"@Ra'a'mah

Knowing Drogh was attempting to stare through her, like she was a viper about to strike and hoping he would be ignored...that was not going to happen. That smile Ra gave was a mere shadow of one and never reached her eyes. It was only done as he asked his question and faded after her answer. If he thought it was a friendly smile in an attempt to make him trust her, he was greatly mistaken.

The man was going to test her patience, Ra knew this. Sometimes the best relationships were with opposites and she felt he was quite the opposite from her. It was something lost on her as to why or how somebody could stand to live like Drogh did. To her it was a sign he lack desire to improve. Finding him here still after all these years indicated that as well. No drive, ambition or want for power. In all fairness, Ra didn't want power for herself either. Not anymore at least.

He asked why and she shrugged her shoulder. Withdrawing her extended her, Ra still remained looking at him.

"Why not?"

"Why not?" Drogh responded, his voice have glimpses of rage, as the fear was curling to a black anger. With a tone that was both mocking and suspicious"You would help me from the bottom of your heart, how stupid do you think I am?" Drogh wasn't going to stop until he got the answer he wanted, the truth. Ra was hiding something, not sure what, not sure how, but without a doubt she was hiding something. Drogh was hard to hide from, he was like a lurking ghost to the people of the underworld, and he could see though the lies of faces easily. Yet the question was, what was she hiding? She was lying that much was clear, or at the very least being evasive.

@Ra'a'mah

Feeling the rise of his anger, her eyes took on a slight gleam as he spoke. Now almost as if she was going to slap or hit him, Ra closed the last of distance between them. It was barely more than an arm's length and she wore an decidedly dark grin. Like she was feeding on his fear and allowing it to empower her. Making no physical contact, unless he moved away from her, they would be toe to toe.

"You fear me, Drogh. Why? Instead of living in this mess and being such a pitiful creature, you could have some power. You are from stupid."

Not entirely reading his mind, though she could have taken his thoughts from him if she wanted to, what she said next would hopefully hit close to him.

"You think I'm hiding something, that I have an actual use for you. You really are just a crazy, worthless...creature."

In a way hoping to make him mad enough to lash out, Ra would show him just how weak he was. How much she could offer him. When she finished, she waited for his reaction. No matter what it was, she felt she was prepared for it.

Drogh clenched his fists, his filthy nails digging into his palms, His eyes roared up with a fiery hatred. Yet, he held him self. Her words were mashed, cobbled together poorly in some assault at his dignity, his own self worth. She was spitting on a dead man, her insults could not be felt, not truly. Drogh knew she wanted him, she wanted him to see his own self worth, how little he was. Drogh could only agree, the rage turned to a curling smile, coiling around his rotten face. "You should choose your words more carefully Ra, I know you want me, you want me to hit you, but you might just get me to walk away, then what?" "You will insult me further no, I will come with you if you tell me the truth, do not lie to me Ra, otherwise you may have to force me to come with you, which will only prove me right."

@Ra'a'mah

"You never answered my question."

He suggested she pick her words more carefully next time, but what he didn't know was she already had. She gave him a choice and chance to improve, gain power and grow.

They both knew her words were true about him. Drogh had no real way to dig himself out of his hole. As he spoke, Ra looked at him with a very flat look, but still held onto her power.

"Why do you think I want you to hit me? If you choose to walk away, that is on you. I highly doubt there will be a better or another opportunity to get out of your kingdom of trash. There are plans being set into motion, Drogh. You can either be a part of them or get trampled with the rest of the galaxy."

There was a sense of power and confidence behind these words. If he didn't feel it, then she would turn and walk away. This was not a place to reveal what those plans were, but she was in the process of building up a foundation that would eventually grow to be an empire to take on that of the sith. Even if Ra died in the attempt, she would see the current empire fall before that happened.

Drogh gave Ra a cold glare, he hesitated to speak. Those words she muttered gave Drogh more insight to her, perhaps more then she intended? Ambition coiled on her tongue, drowning her words, like some kind of poisoned honey. She spoke of power, and in that moment Drogh could see past the facade, like a black shadow sprawling out before him, he saw the truth, it was truly terrifying. The darkness that was her, the hatred, the passion, the lust for power it all stirred in this cauldron of malice. Drogh was speechless for a moment, he wanted to run, however something other then fear compelled him to stay. What ever "new world" this was, Ra wanted Drogh to be part of it, what designs did she have for him? Who could say, this too terrified him yet also deeply intrigued him, he wanted to say "no", refuse her but he found that was impossible. He wanted to be part of this world, for perhaps the first time in his forsaken life he wanted more then this "kingdom of trash", which he found more then a little amusing. Then, as Drogh calmed to as he controlled him self enough to reply, he responded in words that were both dry yet shocked in awe, "I want to be part of these plans." In that moment Drogh swallowed his pride, nothing more then smite manifest to try and make Ra's life more difficult, but it was a hopeless and pathetic attempt. Drogh knew that deep down Drogh was not important to her, perhaps just enough to warrant a visit but beyond that, not much else.

Drogh felt the fires of ambition burn inside as well, like the fires were spreading, it was infectious and he enjoyed this fleeting moment of power. Perhaps, one day Drogh would him self rise to great power, he would be able to mirror Ra, and for the first time Drogh felt the hunger that all dark siders must have felt, as he refined his darkness not into dread and despair but a greedy lust for power. How strange Drogh began to think, how quickly he changed when a single sentence was muttered to him, Drogh doubted this would last very long, the feeling of might would flee and he would return to misery, but for this moment he felt powerful.

@Ra'a'mah

Not being a natural empath, Ra could only pick up on the stronger emotions a person felt. So when her words struck him, she picked up on only some of what he felt. He accepted what she offered and she held a hand out to him.

Not to help him up or treat him as an equal, he was stone in that foundation and while right now she had no strong purpose for him, that would come. That call of power, the want to control and a desire that needed to be met fueled him. These Ra offered him and if he took that offered hand, she would provide.

His voice was dry, shocked and maybe held a bit of awe. There was truth and power in what she said and offered. What she offered right now was a future and the path in front of them was in motion. She did not know where it would end for them, but this was a beginning.

More than likely, this awe was fleeting, but while it was there, Ra would use it.

"Let's get started. We need to go."

Drogh nodded, before taking a paranoid look all around him. He was always on edge, never quite calm. Drogh always felt eyes were on him, digging into his back like knifes. And when she said those words, his paranoia, never dormant surfaced. The large crowds of people might have been disorienting for some, but to Drogh it was simply putting a puzzle together, to discover what pieces of that puzzle wanted to kill you. Then he span around again, facing Ra. "I'll follow."
