Affiliation: Vera Mina

Model: N/A

Modularity: Yes (can be updated)

Production: Unique

Material: Specialized Electronics, rare earth elements, crystal

SPECIAL FEATURES

Powerful unregulated Processor designed to provide the base for Vera's entire personality.

Capable of complex emotional analyses and response. Is excellent at faking emotion.

Programming becomes more streamlined and refined the more contact it has with organics, leading to improved interaction.

Quantum memory drive, enabling the formation and retention of data files

Base Programming to serve the interests of Nine and house Li-Ves

Any chassis processor is installed in will immediately be attracted to Karlie Lynn Destat

Processor has universal adapter, able to be installed to any droid capable of accepting hueristic processors or those droids modded to accept hueristic processors. Even astromechs.

Firmware and chip material modifiable as tech advances

Rapidly integrates with Morpheus built electronics

Controls all other processors in Vera's brain.

Allows for learning new social skills, such as singing, dancing, painting.

Strengths:

The Ghost in the Machine: The processor is actually a complex 3 in 1 combination, creating the entire framework of Vera's personality: an arrogant, bloodthirsty creature with unshakable loyalty to House Li-Ves, Nine Lives, and a newly formed, intense attraction to Karlie Lynn Destat.

Emotional Complexity: It is excellent at reading, analyzing and faking any emotion, and the longer it interacts with organics, the more adept it makes Vera at blending into higher social strata.

Upgradeable: Its materials can be updated, along with its programming, as Nine refines her techniques, or Vera seeks out programming or material upgrades herself. The processor is able to accept more micro computing nodes and hookups for additional processors and seems to accept algorithm and runtime upgrades. It can also hook up to any droid built to take the top of processor it uses and has adapters that enable it to hook up to most conventional market droids. Lastly, it accesses and integrates easily with Morpheus built electronics.

Vast memory: As close to mimicking organic memory as possible due to a partly crystalline structure, Vera's memory is theoretically comparable nearly to that of an organic, and allows her to learn new social skills slowly, via exposure or rapid download.

Weaknesses:

Metalogic flaws: A flaw in the processor's meta-programming renders it almost always insufferably arrogant. This may cause it to dismiss foes it should take more seriously, or make decisions based more on slaking her thirst for blood than any tactical consideration

Slow learner: Hampered working in conjunction with other, jury rigged processors in her standard body, it takes the processor a long time to fully integrate new social skills into its regular interactions

Acid: This processor is done for if military grade acid hits it.

Ion: Scrambles its databases temporarily, rendering Vera a bit of an airhead for a few minutes

Microwave: Shuts down parts of Vera's programming temporarily, leaving Vera severely vulnerable

Overheat: While it can process emotion, it cannot do so in large amounts, being forced to register and compute highly complex emotions like love is only barely in the fringes of its ability, and if forced to experience them too long, runs the risk of the processor overheating and shutting down or even melting. It would take a fully functional, uninhibited brain to reduce the stress on the processor by seventy five percent.

Interaction issues: Some of its features are shut off or reduced depending on the form Vera uses. Also, without the processor, Vera's body is effectively a blank chassis, due to the fact it controls every other processor. Also, if installed in a foreign chassis in an emergency its emotional overheat issues may sometimes be more pronounced.

DESCRIPTION

The Morpheus 9 Processor Prototype is an advanced hueristic and learning processor that serves as Vera's brain. Originally composed of three seperate hueristic processors before their programming and functions were combined into one chip to control every other, The Morpheus 9 Prototype is an extremely sophisticated emotional learning and personality formatting device, giving Vera her haughty, arrogant and bloodthirsty nature (Though this is exacerbated by the shapeshifting processor installed in the empathy centers of Vera's biot brain, which transmits the signals from her processors.) It has vast memory capability and can be installed in nearly any inorganic chassis that takes hueristic processors, as well as being able to adapt to biological ones built for the same.

Though excellent at simulating and analyzing emotion, it is not good at feeling it for long periods, requiring and organic brain to help absorb the stress, however, its materials and programs can be updated over time, which may reduce or even eventually negate this factor, though it is exceptionally good at creating a persona with consistant traits, thanks to complex algorithms as upgradeable as its actual body is all the same. Though held back by certain computing flaws, this processor is set to be the standard bearer for Nine's future efforts.
