Morning Glow

The sun still sat low as the daylight got brighter. Clouds rolled overhead changing constantly leaving many gaps of blue braking thought. Cynthia sat there as the morning glow made her skin feel warm, and yet she felt out of place. For so long all she had going for her was finding gray. Now she didn't have much. The clan was everywhere split and divided. Only things she did have going for her was the people she considered family.

As the woman sat there she'd keep glimpsing up at star keeping an eye on where the woman was. Although most of her attention kept drifting off to her own mind. She was back to where she was a few weeks ago, questioning her life and asking herself was it worth it? Do you have a place here? The answers always seemed the same. Yea and maybe but there was always uncertainty to the answer's.

After so much time alone it was like she had some way forgotten what it was like to be around anyone who cared. Yet she hated that feeling. She hated being alone. It left a emptyness inside her. Cynthia sighed to herself and looked down at her leg in a cast. Even though a bacta tank would have helped heal it she didn't like the idea been submerged for hours on end and stuck in a hospital. Instead she was told she'd be staying here, but that didn't bother her. She was close to star and gray wasn't far away. Even if she was yet to go see him. She wanted to, but when she did try last time she was refused entry. Cynthia wasn't sure if that was grays choice or someone else's.

She didn't even look at Cynthia, wasn't because the girl did wrong she simply just couldn't. After her blowing up at gray and making quite a embarrassment of herself she ran out to this lonely home on the plains...simply in thought only stopping to feed her son and then back to just staring

Part of her wondered, was this worth it? Was gray so far changed that now the bond they had simply shattered? His words he had told her had they been true? She doubted herself more then ever as she frowned at the rising sun...the jets did nothing but warm her and remind her she was still there and this all was reality.

She glanced where she could feel gray, he was so far away yet again...yet she never knew if he'd return home to her and their son. Part of her simply wanted to just be done yet she was to stubborn and simply just kept thinking to herself. She entered back into the house closing and locking the door again as she looked to the wine she had been sipping and drank the rest before going to the table and sat down as she sighed....
