Cato Neimodia - Ortani Sky Bridge
Balun Dashiell Balun Dashiell

Ortani Kelemir was a man of business. His family had worked for the interests of the galaxy in one way or another for near a millenia, trailing all the way back to the Banking Clan and their interests within the Clone Wars. The Kelemir were upstanding, they were good at their jobs, and most of all they were collectors.

Generations of wealth had trickled down even through the darker ages of the galaxy, and despite the wars all of them had endured much of their riches had stayed with them. Ever patrons of the arts, the family had gathered a massive collection of artifacts, trinkets, and baubles. Most of their great skyscraper was built like a museum, filled with exhibits from the top floor to the bottom. It was an almost comical display, enough to make even the curator of the Coruscant Museum jealous.

Which was why, of course, Amos was here.

Caring little for the fact that Ortani Kelemir was one of the richest Neimodians in the galaxy, and caring even less for what he could provide; the Sith had instead come for one of the trinkets his ancestors had bought many centuries ago.

Hedda, or perhaps her father, had directed him towards it. Knowing that it would serve both of their goals. At least so they had claimed.

Trust was a difficult thing among their ilk, and in truth Amos had only followed their path because it seemed more clear than the one the Elders had set him upon. He had left Kiffu a month ago now, and he was no closer to reaching his desire than he had been then. Frustration flickered in his chest even as he stalked through the sewers of the Sky Bridge, his steps splashing as he made his way towards the basement access of the skyscraper.

Ortani Kelemir, a business executive with considerable wealth, had very recently reached out to Dashiell Retrofit™ to commission a unique project: a new Starship for his personal collection. The Company was smaller than many, yet when Balun Dashiell had first started the enterprise, he had focused on the refurbishment of old technologies, finding centuries-old schematics via the Holonet, or salvaging downed craft to rebuild and make a profit. A healthy market existed for some of the older-model craft, and Kelemir had an idea of his own that he wanted to propose to the youngest of the Dashiell men. It was for this reason that Balun had travelled to Cato Neimoidia, his starfighter - The first project he had completed - ferrying him there.

The Jedi Knight arrived ahead of schedule, an intentional choice, preferring to be early rather than make others wait. Timeliness was an important value to him, good for business and showing his prospective clients that he would make time, whatever their need or concern. Unfortunately, time was also in short demand in Balun's day-to-day life, assuming several roles - Businessman, Jedi Knight and Father. He could only achieve so much in a single day. With his son Kellan Dashiell Kellan Dashiell living with Balun's brother, Makai Dashiell Makai Dashiell , Balun could focus his workdays on the Order and his business obligations.

Choosing to walk from the Spaceport, Balun would explore the sights of the Ortani Skybridge en route to his meeting with the Kelemir representatives. The Skybridge was less an actual bridge and more a hanging city connecting to Cato Neimoidia's pillared landscape. From the sky, it reminded the Jedi of some sort of cocooned insect, revealing its size only as he drew closer to the landing zone. Now, he walked among the local populace, watching and listening to those passing him by. The young man's clothing offered no hint of his allegiance to the Jedi Order, save for the weapon hanging from his utility belt: a crossguard hilt with an extended grip, not difficult to miss for those who came close enough. The Lightsaber accompanied him everywhere, not because he expected a fight but because it was better to have it and not need it, not to mention it was a part of his identity, more than a mere tool for conflict. The crystal encased within held a piece of his very soul, in a manner of speaking. Attuned to the owner's heart, mind, and presence.

"Speech"

'Thought'

Amos continued his steps through the busy streets of Ortani, cutting away from the main thoroughfares of the city and into the narrower alleyways between buildings. As he moved the crowd almost immediately began to thin. Shoppers and families turned to maintenance workers and those making deliveries, none offering him a second glance as he moved through the back-buildings of the city.

The suggestion that had been made to him was to take on the guise of one of the menials of the city. It had been a simple thing to do, one dead man was all that it had taken. The uniform he'd stolen belonged to a laborer of some sort. A worker at the skyscraper, at least that was what Amos had been able to rip from his mind.

Not that it mattered.

Quickly he cut a corner, then another, before eventually arriving at the large gated access of the building's underbelly. Security cameras tracked him as he reached out and scanned the small badge he'd claimed from his prey, a loud beep echoing out before the door slid open and allowed him entry. Behind him he could just barely hear someone calling out, but Amos didn't stop.

Instead the Sith immediately slipped inside, hefting the heavy pack on his shoulder and moving towards the back. From the schematics he'd been shown Amos knew he would find the stairs there.

From there, he could set the explosives.
