OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
SETTING INFORMATION
  • Astronomical Location Name: Moon 123
  • Classification: Moon.
  • Location: lego, one of the planet's 1,000 moons.
  • Rotational Period: 24 hours.
  • Orbital Period: 365 days.
  • Size: Medium, Moon 123 is a relatively large astronomical object and moon, though not nearly as large as the planet that it orbits.
  • Affiliation:
    • Technically, Moon 123 is still under the ownership of the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant, as it is believed that the moon contains important and valuable lightsaber crystals somewhere on or underneath its surface. That being said, the Imperial Remnant has granted Arco Nightfire special permission to explore and develop the moon as he sees fit, though he is responsible for providing the Imperial Remnant with a certain amount of lightsaber crystals each and every month. Beyond that, Arco Nightfire has board permission to utilize Moon 123 however he may see fit, as long as his obligations are fulfilled to the Imperial Remnant.
  • Population: Uninhabited, Moon 123 does not contain any sort of native life on its surface, though it is likely that Arco Nightfire may bring in sentient beings to help him with his work. Moon 123 could theoretically support life if it was brought onto the moon from somewhere else.
  • Demographics: Since Moon 123 is uninhabited, it has no real demographics to speak of, though as previously stated it would be possible for the moon to support any lifeforms that were brought to it from the outside or somewhere else.
  • Accessibility: Because the planet lego is rather isolated and out of the way, accessing Moon 123 can be quite challenging. Furthermore, as a part of the thousand moons orbiting the planet, actually finding the moon within the plethora of celestial bodies around lego can be quite difficult. Any restrictions on visiting the moon itself are subject to Arco Nightfire himself, though Imperial authorities have permission to visit the moon completely unannounced should they wish to do so.
  • Description: A highly unusual crystalline moon, Moon 123 would be most barren if not for the existence of large Crystal deposits on top and underneath its surface. These Crystals vary greatly in size, shape and value, though most have been determined to be not worth the cost of mining or harvesting, since extracting them from where they are would cost more than what they are valued at. That being said, sensor scans had indicated that Moon 123 may posses small quantities of lightsaber crystals on or underneath its surface. As such, the Junkyard Knights of Mahporeem have asked the Imperial Remnant to engage in mining operations on the moon itself, and as such the Imperial Remnant has hired Arco Nightfire to oversee efforts to locate deposits of lightsaber crystals on the moon itself.
POINTS OF INTEREST
  • Most of Moon 123 is covered in large swatches of Crystals, ranging in size from miniscule to massive. These crystals come in a variety of different shapes and colors, and have varying degrees of value associated with them. The vast majority of these crystals are simply not worth it to try and mine or harvest, as the cost of removing and transporting them across the galaxy would exceed their actual value, causing anyone trying to sell them to lose credits on almost every deal that they would make.
  • That being said, it is believed that Moon 123 does posses lightsaber crystals in relatively small amounts, though finding said lightsaber crystals is much easier said than done. Even a small quantity of these lightsaber crystals would be immensely valuable to anyone who was able to find them, and it is believed that said lightsaber crystals can be found both on the surface of the moon and underneath it.
  • Moon 123 also has a far larger abundance of Nectrose Crystals growing on it, which can be used as flavor enhancement or to provide soldiers with a small boost in energy when consumed.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

When the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant completed its conquest of the lego system, it suddenly found itself in possession of over a thousand different moons, all of which orbited the rogue planet lego and were just as mysterious and diverse as lego itself. Though the Imperial Remnant found immediate use for a small number of these moons, most were judged to be too insignificant to warrant any serious attempts to develop. Instead, the Imperial Remnant decided to offer the galactic community the ability to purchase individuals moons to do with as they might see fit.

Initially, Moon 123 seemed to be one of the more promising moons floating around the lego system, though such hopes were quickly dashed after the moon was surveyed by Imperial forces. It was determined that extracting the large Crystals growing across and underneath the surface of Moon 123 was economically unviable, as the cost of harvesting, processing and transporting the Crystals across the galaxy far exceeded their sell value. Disappointed, the Imperial Remnant was prepared to abandon the moon until small amounts of lightsaber crystals were discovered, suddenly causing the value of Moon 123 to skyrocket.

Still, the problem of actually finding where the lightsaber crystals were located on the moon still remained, which was why the Imperial Remnant hired Arco Nightfire to find these lightsaber crystals and inform the Imperial Remnant of where they were located. In exchange for having near complete control over the moon, Arco Nightfire was tasked with providing the Imperial Remnant a certain amount of these lightsaber crystals each and every month. Whether or not he can live up to his side of the bargain remains to be seen...

GREAT submission. The ONE thing I would suggest is that you put headings at your bullet points, like main ideas. Like the Nectrose Crystals, are they anywhere in particular? What is so interesting? It is "okay" but reads more like it is historical information. Let me know if you want to change this or not before I move with this submission.

GAL Ltd. GAL Ltd. thank you for the suggestion! For now, I'd like to them as is if possible. I'm sure in the future I'll come to edit this submission but I'd like to see the player who this is for RP it organically and then I'll change information as it develops. Does that make sense? But thank you again for the idea!
