- Description: A strange offshoot of the Neti, the Momokyun are living trees with barklike skin that is rough to the touch and sble to flake off of them. Leaves and fruits that can grow from branches that sprout off of them and excreting a sap like substance that is a mixture of life giving fluiid for them like blood but also able to be used by jedi as a salve to purify the darkside corruption. Their bark blends with the trees around taking on the shades and by all accounts they are mono-gendered with a verbal language that can be heard like a voice on the wind resonating from a throat with no vocal cords but wind chambers in the throat.

- Distinctions: Varied shades of bark and growths, they are spread across the world and change colors depending on what the trees are like around them. The older ones are rooted in place and grow to sizes like normal trees spread saplings and seeds of their offspring across the world.
- Races: A sub-species of the neti who have developed on Ahch-To into a planet wide collective organism that shares a symbiotic connection with the Guardians of Omean.

- Growth: Leaves, sap and fruits can form o them... ass a sort of natural camouflage mechanism they can adapt and plant in themselves different fruits that are given an infusion of their sap like blood able to resonate with the lightside of the force.
- Sap: A life blood like substance that is excreted from the Momokyun. It can be spread and used like a salve on darkside corrupted objects and surfaces infusing with the light and working to purify it.
- Fruit: Variable as some can plant seeds within themselves and grow fruits that are healthy and infused with the force for more revitalization and health.
- Leaves: Randomly growing upon them, the leaves are made to be burnt in campfires and the smoke when inhaled can induce force visions.
- The Green: Their bodies connect to the roots of the world and to their mother tree.. the green is a collective consciousness of the Momokyun that allows them to be aware of things across the planet and spreads throughout with a vast rooted network.
- Guardians of Omean: Sharing a developed symbiotic relationship with the beings of stone... they nourish the young rocks while being protected by the adults stone bodies. Becoming like a male and female of a species as they can populate and repopulate.
- Woodrot: A dangerous sickness more from beetles that attacks the roots of the Momokyun and cause them to rot from the inside.
- Fear of Fire: A natural enemy to wood and the bark but needed to pop open the seedlings that they can carry.
- Force Nullification: Most of the species uses and feels the force, cutting them off from it cuts them off from the collective intelligence that they share and can lead to a madness.
- Rooted: The older and stronger ones can become larger and rooted into position becoming part of the green and the world itself while still being able to communicate.

- Religion/Beliefs: Not a religious species but often seen by the Caretakers as guardians of the forests and guides. They can care for those who are lost in the sparse forests of the world when the islands are large enough and provide food in times of need as they are able to grow their own. For the jedi on the world they are a rare sight unless one has the perception to sense them and rarer still since generations rarely left the first temples island.
- General behavior: Generally kind and nice to those who come to the forests, they do not make it a habit to leave or venture forward from their small forests on the different islands. Once every forty years venturing to a central island where they plant seedlings to take root initially and spawn a new generation before returning. The methods of them being able to know when and find the island are largely unrecorded but mirror turtles. Among the caretakers they offer food to those who are lost and can give shelter without much interest in receiving things in return. THey only want the forests to be left along for new growths.. the old and dead can be cleared away and used as needed but should be replaced. With the jedi they are different, the jedi brought them to the world and introduced them... there are ancient neti jedi and they can maintain some of the temples and more natural springs or meditation areas that are used by the jedi offering wisdom of the ages and aid should they be out and exploring the islands.
A strange offshoot of the Neti species, like others they were brought here to Ahch-To thousands of years prior by the jedi for observation and with much that they have done. The Neti were much smarter then other species they weren't brought like a zoological piece they came and settled on the world bringing with them a portion of their skills and place on the planet. Creating a collective root system that spreads across the world and goes deep into the islands and planet. Interconnecting and sharing information between the Momokyun. THey created over time a symbiotic relationship with the guardians of omean.. a sentient rock like species that was able to protect their young in exchange they nourished theirs.
The caretakers came to regard this strange living forest as they changed.. the neti evolving differently compared to their ancient cousins and becoming much more rooted... where other neti were able to move around the galaxy they stayed on the world and created... strengthened and became part of their central intelligence... it bound them together but also limited them as leaving the world was like losing a limb or connection to themselves. The Momo became locked to the world but it had its benefits as they looked more and more like the forests they protected and they were able to grow their own fruits that could be eaten by the caretakers and jedi who came to the world.
THey continued as other jedi came and left the world.. a tribe of Neti slowly changing and adapting to the world.. spreading out and around it from island to island to the continent that remained. Slowly developing their own traits and society as it were while the jedi would lose records and recover them leading them back and to the world. The Momokyun stayed and some went to the temple to care for it... others venturing to different temples that had been built on the planet... others still to more meditative spots on the world that were natural from caves where they could create mysterious trees to forests that were a graveyard of rooted Momokyun that whispered and remembered.
The galaxy changed around them... plagues, netherworld rifts, attacks from celestial gods and empires, republics rose and fell... even one of the oldest trees was burned away and the last of the jedi for the time passed away. Others came to the world often seeking the temple itself... the first temple and as they thought the only temple... some came exploring minorly the world but didn't know what they had found as the Momokyun remained and remembered. Spreading out and the Momokyun survived, strong and rooted.. they had no ink, no parchment, no datacron, no written language. Instead they had root, and leaf and limb and could remember what they saw throughout the centuries to teach and show jedi who came to listen.
