The sounds continued to haunt her. The smells of fire burning over the leaves and tress and huts of her village high up in the tress. The sounds of loud beams fired from little devices i the hands of those who were attacking. The humming sound of speeders as the people riding them yelped and called out with glee at the mayhem they caused. And all the while Teeka felt herself useless on the ground below where she could hear her kin screaming for help. She sat on the grassy ground below calling up for her family, but none of them answered her. The sounds of ewoks, her people, feeling or running away could be heard all around. She feared how many were dead or worse. She tried to stand but her feet wouldn't move. She tried using her hands but they were useless as well. She failed her people. She was a failed warrior. It brought tears to her eyes. But soon she sensed someone from behind, only to turn and see a large shadow reaching down and covering her vision. Everything went dark and the echoes of the horror around and above her could still be heard.

Teeka yelped and she awoke fro her dream. She sprung up from the cold metal floor of the cage she was in. Her head nearly hit the top as she looked around, realizing what she'd seen was just a dream. But it was more then that as she remembered where she was and how she wound up here. Looking down she could see the series of cuffs kept on her ankles, wrists and even around her neck, all connected by a glowing stream to each piece. Around her were other cages with more people inside of them; and some animals in others. Some she could tell were like her, humans; or as she thought of them 'big un-hairy ewoks'. Others were completely alien to her, like everything else she was experiencing today. Or was it even day still? How long did she sleep?
Teeka was a human from Endor who was raised by the ewok tribes that lived there. She'd never seen another human like her and only knew of Endor itself, not the outside galaxy or society around the small forest moon. As content as she was her happy life was halted when a group of slavers had come, seeking the ewoks to use for laborers. However upon finding a rare thing like her had been enough to satisfy the apparently. As far as Teeka could see there were no other ewoks around in the dark and creaking room she was in. All the others inside she'd tried speaking to before, but none of them understood her. The only language she could ever speak was Ewok, and not many were fluent in it.
As time went on Teeka was leaning against the small cage she was in before a sudden loud thud could be heard. She tensed, trying to see what was going on, before the wall nearby opened. She watched, constantly moving back and forth from where she sat in the cage, as the light began to stream in from outside. Eventually she could see the again, the cat-like man creatures that had caught her before. She sneered at the as they began to force everyone inside to stand and move out. When they came to her cage she growled in her throat, one of them pulling out a stick. She knew it was one meant for pain since they'd used it on her before. During the time they tried capturing her Teeka had shown her warrior skills and fought them, only for enough to gang up on her and force her into the situation she was in now.
As one slaver pulled out a leash he said "Come on, you little rat girl. And no biting this time. Or else my friend here's going to give you the stick again. You want that?"
Teeka didn't understand his words, but given where he pointed and gestured she had a good enough idea. She still cringed in the back of the cage but made no real effort to fight back as he clipped the laser leash to her collar. After a few little tugs she was forced to crawl out before getting onto her feet. She barley had a moment to stretch before being pushed out and forced to walk outside.
Upon seeing where she was Teeka gave a shocked look. While anyone else would see it as another city to her it was like an entire other world. Giant works of metal with bright lights all over. Flying hunks of metal with people inside of them. Everything noisy and flashing. To her it looked like a grand metal forest with lights and odd music and noises and even more odd human-like creatures all about.
Another push to ger Teeka in line before the slaver commented "Yeah, take a good look, girly. Welcome to Nar Shadda."
