Description: This is a modified Vaccum Mask that has been aesthetically altered to suit the wearers preference with a few additions to increase its use on the field. The mask itself is made from durasteel with glasteel acting as the lens. The apparatus gives the wearer enough oxygen for 15 minutes in the vacuum of space, and is fitted with a comlink with programmable frequencies. The only draw back to this feature is that it is limited to the Planet it is being used on meaning it cannot make long distant transmissions unless patched into a nearby communications array. The optic program has been installed with a zoom function allowing it to act as a limited set of binoculars that zoom up to x10. The Vacuum mask also has a voice scrambler installed near the breather. This is especially useful when one wants to keep their identity a secret.
Because of the masks materials it is quite durable against damage, offering some protection against ballistic rounds and hard most metal objects. This piece of equipment also has the ability to compact, or retract, into a durasteel band worn around the users neck.
