DESCRIPTION
The ORPSU model of droid, or River as a pet name, is a hybridized combat/assassin droid whose main function is to act as a first response unit for the Outer Rim. As a unit of the Rimward Trade League, River is designed to be a fully autonomous unit that can also act as a cohesive mobile weapons platform and take orders. It is capable of evolving tactically as time goes on and is capable of handling most blasters or mag weapons as well as close quarters combat. While its intention is not specifically for force users, it can analyze and counter force abilities with a variable weapon system. That being said the unit is not perfect. While it is capable of emotional simulation it doesn't always know when to simulate emotions and its vocabulator is capable of tonal shifts and clues, it is still quite metallic sounding and can be a bit disconcerting.[/B][/I]

- ORPSU is a unit that was designed with military operations in mind and, while it is capable of negotations, it is not specifically designed for them.
- ORPSU has a greater range of autonomy and order acceptance due to its cores; due to this it will carry out given orders in ways perhaps not precisely how they were given or intended.
- This unit is not entirely waterproof and so is unable to participate on purely waterbound missions
- This unit is not resistant to extreme cold, heat or acid
