Description: Jimmy's personal speeder, brings entirely new meaning to the term 'retro-mod' and is built for speed, maneuverability, and nothing else. It does incorporate low powered deflector shielding to prevent the windows from being shattered and the paint from being scratched at the speeds it is capable of. However the shielding would only provide for the barest of defense against any sort of attack outside a small rock. Even a couple of blaster rifle shots could knock out the shields on the vehicle. When the repulsors are activated the rear wheels retract into the wheel wells where panels slide forward to cover them in flight and reduce drag, while the front fold upward at a 45 degree angle and are covered by simple fairings that extend from within the wheels themselves.
Due to the complex nature of the parts used and that are required for repulsorlift operation, when not utilizing the repulsorlift for propulsion, there is an electromagnetic braking system as normal hydraulic systems were too bulky and also requied too much maintenance. For the parts that are subjected to the greatest amount of heat, such as inner engine components and heatsinks for the repulsorlift units, are coated in dallorian alloy to minimize the chance of overheating, though it is still a very real possibility. The frame, body panels, and all critical components are made from phrik meaning that the most common repair is to the paintjob, which is a rather common 'repair' for the vehicle.
Thanks to it's small size, lightweight construction, and isotope 5 fuel cells the speeder is far faster and more spritely than one would think at first glance, but that is also due to the fact that this carries no sort of offensive or defensive armament, save what the pilot may have on him at the time of operation and of course the reduction of shielding to the bare minimum to survive operation also played a role in the stellar performance granted. The paintjob and overall construction is meant to reflect the aesthetics of ancient 'rat rods.'
