GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Jen'qazoi | Mist Wraiths
  • Designation: Semi-sentient.
  • Origins: Korriban.
  • Average Lifespan: Immortal | Undead
  • Estimated Population: Planetary.
  • Description: These sinister Sithspawn, conjured through forbidden arcane arts, are a terror to behold, a manifestation of dread that sweeps over the battlefield like a nightmare brought to life. Mist Wraiths are ethereal entities, their forms shrouded in a swirling mist of otherworldly hues. Glimpses of skeletal limbs and glowing, malevolent eyes occasionally pierce through the fog, hinting at the twisted beings lurking within. Their visage is both haunting and captivating, a macabre dance of shadows that mesmerizes and horrifies in equal measure.
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Breathes: All; << Type I, Type II, Type III, Type IV >>
  • Average Height of Adults: 1.8 meters — 3.2 kilometers; Mist Wraiths possess the ability to shift between a concentrated, tangible state, and a dispersed, gaseous state. Mist Wraiths are only able to speak whilst consolidated, conveying their reports through means of telepathy. In this form, they maintain vaguely humanoid appearances. Contrarily, the Mist Wraiths are able to remove all vestiges of tangible, humanoid shape, instead becoming massive clouds and hanging fog banks, with powerful wraiths able to cover distances of up to 3.2 square kilometers.
  • Average Length of Adults: N/A; See above.
  • Skin color: Shimmering, slippery mist.
  • Hair color: N/A
  • Distinctions: Undead conjured through Sith sorcery.
  • Races: N/A
  • Force Sensitivity: All.
Force Abilities:
  • Telekinetic Manipulation: Mist Wraiths possess the power to manipulate objects and weapons within their fog, hurling them at foes with considerable force.
  • Illusory Manipulation: Mist Wraiths can create illusions within their fog, distorting reality and sowing confusion among enemy ranks.
  • Mind Probing: Mist Wraiths can probe the minds of individuals caught within their fog, extracting memories and secrets to further their dark agenda. Through use of the Force, Mist Wraiths are able to detect other Force Sensitives within their midst, and are able to feel when others reach into the Force, whether making contact with the light side or the dark side.
  • Radioactive Fog: The Mist Wraiths' radioactive emissions corrode and weaken those exposed, making them deadly opponents even beyond their physical attacks. In concentrated numbers, these wraiths are capable of emitting high radiation doses of up to 500 rem of radiation; enough to be lethal within even short periods of exposure for most humanoid species. Exposed individuals are likely to suffer acute forms of radiation sickness as their cells perish. In severe cases, high doses of radiation can sometimes kill so many cells all at once that tissues and organs are damaged immediately. This, in turn, may cause a rapid whole-body response often called "acute radiation syndrome." Although radiation affects different people in different ways, it is generally believed that humans exposed to about 500 rem of radiation all at once will likely die without medical treatment. Similarly, a single dose of 100 rem may cause a human to experience nausea or skin reddening (although recovery is likely), and about 25 rem can cause temporary sterility in human men.
  • Incorporeality: Their elusive nature makes them difficult to target and harm, allowing them to swiftly infiltrate enemy lines and disrupt formations.
  • Sorcerous Intelligence: Mist Wraiths are cunning and observant, capable of watching and reporting information across vast distances with one another, acting as the ultimate spies for Darth Caedes' forces and embodying a streamlined network of informational exchange.
Strengths:
  • Incorporeal Resilience: Their ethereal nature renders them resistant to most physical attacks, making conventional weaponry largely ineffective.
  • Radioactive Aura: The radioactive signature they emit weakens and sickens those exposed over time, debilitating even the hardiest of warriors.
  • Intelligence Gathering: Mist Wraiths serve as formidable scouts, providing accurate and timely information from the battlefield.
Weaknesses:
  • Sorcery Counter-magic: Their creation through Sith sorcery leaves them vulnerable to certain counter-magics or anti-dark side techniques.
  • Purity of Heart: Those who possess purity of heart and unwavering resolve can resist the paralyzing effects of their illusions. Those detached from fear, physical and material possession, detached from love and ego. For this reason, Mist Wraiths are thought to be blind to most infants and young children.
  • Spiritual Disruption: Powerful Force-users can disrupt the connection between the Mist Wraiths and their fog, temporarily weakening or dispersing their influence and slowing their ability to communicate and access the Force.
  • Force Nullification: As Mist Wraiths are conjurations of Sith sorcery and the Force itself, areas separated from the Force or otherwise nullified environments can prove debilitating and even fatal for the passive Mist Wraiths. When exposed to these kinds of voids, Mist Wraiths are known to retreat in fear lest they be undone.
CULTURE
  • Diet: Moisture.
  • Communication:
Gaseous Form — Telepathy with other Mist Wraiths over distances of hundreds of kilometers.
Humanoid Form — Telepathy, approx. 36.5 meters.
  • Technology level: Galactic Standard.
  • Religion/Beliefs: Servitude to their "Father," Darth Caedes, and the glory of the Sith Order.
  • General behavior: Mist Wraiths possess a cold and calculating intellect, their thoughts driven by an insatiable thirst for power and domination. Though devoid of the living's emotions, they thrive on the despair and fear they sow among their adversaries. They communicate in eerie whispers, their words dripping with the eldritch echoes of long-forgotten Sith secrets.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Born from the twisted ambitions of Darth Caedes, the Mist Wraiths embody the culmination of his arcane studies and Sith alchemical experimentation. Caedes' relentless pursuit of power led him to reclaim Korriban, invoking the ancient magic of Dathka Graush to resurrect the Jen'ari, the undead horde. But it was his refinement of the Tsaiwinokka Hoyakut spell that brought forth the enigmatic Mist Wraiths, creatures that blend ancient sorcery with unholy science.

As remnants of the Sith Lords' tortured spirits, these wraiths serve as the eyes and ears of the undead legions, spreading terror and death wherever they roam. They are a manifestation of Darth Caedes' sinister vision, a testament to his mastery of dark arts, and a whispered legend which spreads, even now, across the galaxy, leaving fear in its wake.
"Beware," they whisper.
"Beware the fog, for it breaks the mind and brings a silent death. The dead— the hordes it hides they don't need their eyes to hunt and to kill."
