Mission to the Darkside (Kixi)

Mako could now see that Kixi was struggling, or would struggle to answer the questions laid out before her. George whispered something to her as Mako first put her hand on Kixi's shoulder and then stepped in front of her.

"May I please."

Kixi would give her companion the nod to go ahead.

"Assembly of Jedi, I am Mako Jhasmin Zaneca, Kixi's companion. You all already know that, but I feel it be a lot more respectful if I introduce myself formally. I'll get straight to the point however. To put it dryly, Kixi, as am I, are refugees so to speak. Kixi is the type of person who keeps her feelings to herself. There is much all of you still do not know about her, but I can vouch for her now, that she is the person you have all known her to be. If she were anything else, not even I would be with her now."

Mako could already sense the Jedi Master annoyed at the fact that she was speaking on Kixi's behalf. He would cut off Mako's speech to both Mako's and Kixi's annoyance.

"So now you need an outsider to speak on your behalf Kixi. You are a Jedi Knight, you serve this order, we are your family. You should be the one answering to us, not her an outsider."

The Jedi Master would speak out in a very irritated voice.

"And who allowed her here in the first place?"

Kixi who was looking straight at the Jedi Master, would then turn to Mako.

"Continue Mako."

"Insolence! Jedi Knight Kixi Rajki did I not just tell you to speak for yourself?"

"Yes you did and I'm ignoring your request. No one here seems to have a problem but you. Mako continue please."

"Very well Kixi, have it your way, but none of us have heard the last of your defiance, and I will get to the bottom of who allowed that outsider in here in the first place."

After about half a minute of silence, Mako would finally continue.

"I'll be as brief as possible. Kixi and I, plus the majority of her crew of her starship are refugees. We are from what is known as the Sajnen Confederate. That's in a nutshell a group of 12 human nations or governments comprised of many worlds allied together to combat the threat of a lizard like intelligent alien race known as the Xendaj. Although the governments have been forced to work together, the nations which are comprised of houses, consortiums and coalitions are divided in their views. One dark lord known as Lord Xiz'Jhan is the leader of a house known as Sunrider. He was a rogue man, the once respectable House of Sunrider who's origins date back millennia, and from a bloodline of well known Jedi whom most of you will be familiar with, was by force taken over by Xiz'Jhan. Now with Xendaj all but defeated, he intends to take and destroy the entire Confederate and rule it with an iron fist. And it appears that he is slowly succeeding. Xiz'Jhan is a very powerful Dark Jedi, very adapt in using the Force, and in command of a very large and highly advanced star fleet."

"So the two of you brought this threat here, from...... sorry from where again was this Sajnen Confederate located?"

Mako paused a moment not knowing how she should answer. She eyed Kixi and then George for advice. Kixi finally would nod to her to tell them.

"Assembly what you are about to see is purely confidential. To date, only Knight George O Rourke and Grand Master Corvus Raaf who is not present today have ever been shown this."

Kixi would hand Mako a small disc like device. Mako would then place it on the floor and bring to life. A holo image of the Galaxy appeared. Then it became smaller and moved across to the right floating there on its own. Then another Galaxy appeared near it, and then several others in the middle. Finally three smaller galaxies apeared on the left side of the holo projection.

"That one over there."

Mako pointed to one of the three smaller galaxies floating on the right of the projection.

"The Androj'Meden Galaxy. That is where we came from. The Sajnen Confederate is there. Lord Xiz'Jhan is from there."

Mako then turned the device off and the holo images disappeared. Mako along with Kixi could see and sense the astonishment in the faces of all the Jedi present.

"So there is your answer. We are not from this Galaxy. However Kixi had served in the forces of the Sajnen Confederate, first with her own family house, that of House Rajki and then under that of House Sunrider. The threat of the Xendaj to eliminate humans was great. We had to do something. We resorted to the use of a biological weapon that killed only them. Personally I played no part in this. Kixi did. However she was only acting under orders. Orders of Xiz'Jhan. Bad as it may seem, as much as I do not like it, had we not attacked them first, they would have done it to us and then all of us would be dead. The use of these weapons was for self defence only, and this is what Kixi did. She did it on several occasions and this is what she is afraid to tell you."

Mako would now deliberately leave out the details entailing that Kixi was the prime scientist in the development of the biological weapons, and that she was Lord Xiz'Jhan's first prime. She clearly made out that she was nothing more than a warrior under his command, doing as she was ordered to do. Mako would make a convincing story too, as the rest of it was actually filing in the gaps.

"In short Kixi would do as she was ordered, many a time unwillingly. Eventually she met me. She was conflicted. Yet Xiz'Jhan was becoming more and more powerful. He found out about us and tried to have me killed on many occasions, but failed. Things were getting from bad to worse. We decided that we would leave. We knew about this Galaxy due to another by the name of Qi-Xian Sunrider. He was from the true House of Sunrider. Before the tyrant Xiz"Jhan took it by force. His origins date back to the Sunrider bloodline from this Galaxy. He ventured here almost two decades before we did using more advance technology that even we do not have access to. Unfortunately we have not made any headway to locate him. We do not even know if he is still alive. Using the technology we had, we pushed through using a series of hypergates and powerful hyperdrive to make the trek here in just over six months. We barely made it might I add. What we didn't know was that Xiz'Jhan had sneaked several spies on our ship. Only recently were we made aware of this. Both spies are believed to be dead now. The ones that were mentioned earlier. All we know now is that Xiz'Jhan is developing technology to send an entire fleet through the great void of space to here. We estimate that it will be around a decade or so away. When he does he will be a formidable enemy, His power using the dark side of the Force is immense. The technology available to the dying Sajnen Confederate to date appears to be more advanced than yours in propulsion, weaponry, astrophysics and quantum physics."

Mako paused a moment to allow everyone to swallow the vasts amounts of information being given.

"So that answers your question. That is where we are from. Our ships and some of the technology you have seen are different because that is where we are from. However we are with you, Kixi is with you most importantly. We ran from Xiz'Jhan so now we are like refugees. We were not aware that he would follow us. Yet now that we know, this is why we are warning you now. Years in advance."

Mako then stepped back and smiled at Kixi and then eyed George giving him a moment's stare that very much stated that she told the Assembly what they needed to know, convincingly and without ever letting them know that Kixi had actually been the original creator of the biological weapons and Xiz'Jhan's right hand. In the end it didn't really matter. Kixi was now a Jedi of the light. She had stopped at nothing to prevent Ravern from fully developing such weapons, and in the end would aid the Jedi and the Republic in the fight against Xiz'Jhan should he ever invade.

[member="George O Rourke"]

As Mako stepped back, Kixi also eyed George before turning to the rest of the Assembly.

"So there you have it. You have been told all we can tell you regarding Xiz'Jhan. At this stage we are powerless to do anything. We cannot go back. It is too far and even if we made it back, it would be like one Jedi here taking on the entire Empire. We do however have advanced communication devices to make contact over such vast distances at times to keep you informed of any new developments. We are also happy to share secrets to our technology to further aid a future invasion as well. However it must stay within these walls. This is imperative. If anything is leaked, we risk the Imperials getting it. That almost happened already with Darth Ravern and the biological weapons."

Kixi then stood there in silence. She would wait what the Assembly would now have to say after assessing what they had been debriefed on. Without a doubt, Mako had made a convincing story which was the truth anyway minus some minor detail, which Kixi had felt no one really needed to know. George however would have a slightly different view. Not entirely on the fact that some things were omitted. In the end, it would make no difference if Kixi had created the biological weapons and had been Xiz'Jhan's first prime. She was now his enemy and one of the Jedi and had just given the Assembly a wealth of knowledge regarding where she was from, about her people, the existence of Xiz'Jhan, their technology and so forth. Yet the thing he had overhead Kixi and Mako talk about regarding the Midi Chlorian Degenerative virus (MCD), was a serious concern. One that he would pull Kixi up on once the present meeting was concluded.

[member="Kixi Rajki"]

As George listened to Mako talk about both hers and Kixi's past it was clear they had planned to keep some information from arising. Understandable, but worrying. It was a threat that George felt they didn't need right now. George viewed everyone in the Assembly as Masters of light, seeing the good in all situations. However as the briefing came down to it, he was gaining another perspective. The aggression shown by some members towards Kixi and Mako made George slightly uncomfortable. However now was not the time for George to speak up and defy the Assembly, another day another time, when he had more sway within the Assembly.

However his words weren't exactly needed, Mako and Kixi explained their situation whilst giving a lot of information to the Assembly about the approaching crusade to take the Galaxy. It was information that George believed only the Coalition had, it was doubtful that the Republic nor the One Sith or the First Order would have access to such beings, and if they did they wouldn't survive long enough to tell it... Well in the First Order and One Sith that is. The Republic was heading down hill fast, more information regarding another enemy would almost destroy the already low morals of the Republic. With the Jedi Order splitting off and effectively joining the Galactic Alliances New Jedi Order after Master Corvus Raaf's disappearance their strength was already fractured, and being at war with one of the strongest factions currently around they were in a bad place.

However as George's attention turned back to what Kixi had to say George finally voices his own opinion. "The mission to destroy the Sith Lord Darth Ravern's lab was a success as you already know. But I am not sure you know the extent of the damage if we were to fail. The virus would attack a specific species, race, or practically anything it was engineered to attack without touching anything else. From my understanding the one Darth Ravern was producing was against all aliens, myself included. I was nearly killed as one of their scientist had already created a batch and threatened to release it. What we did saved millions of lives, all over the Galaxy. And I could not have done that without Kixi." George took a firm stance in Kixi corner. He appeared one hundred percent behind her, but there was a little bit of him that did not trust her. Not after the discussion he had heard less than 24 hours prior.

As they left the Assembly Kixi would sigh in relief.

"I'm sure glad that's over. I'm so exhausted. I'm going to go and retire for a little. I know it's not even midday yet, but mentally I'm exhausted. I'll come and see Nena in the afternoon Master. Oh and please keep Mako entertained if she gets board."

Kixi would then embrace Mako in a hug and the two would kiss slowly for a good minute.

"Thank you sweetheart for before. You mean everything to me. More than all the credits in the entire universe. We'll catchup later, I really just wanna rest and clear my head."

Kixi would then leave to return to her quarters leaving Mako alone with George. Mako looked at George for a moment as Kixi disappeared into the distance. Her face one of concern and worry, and hard to conceal from the Jedi Knight.

[member="George O Rourke"]

"George can we go for a walk? Along the river where it's nice and green. I would like to ask something of you."

The two would then slowly begin walking. Slowly they wound make their way towards the river, not too far from where they already were.

"The Jedi Master, I assume he was a Master. The Jedi Qi-Xian Sunrider, have you ever heard of him? If not, are you able to find out if anyone in the Assembly knows. We need to know. Yet we have not been able to even find out a trace of his existence until now. He was the first Sajnen to venture into this galaxy. We want to know, or more I want to know because he used a far more advanced ship to get here. One of our Ancestral ships. In a nutshell, I want to use his ship assuming it exists to go back to the Androj'Meden Galaxy."

George wound give Mako a look of astonishment, but Mako would quickly justify her reasons.

"I don't want to hurt Kixi. I love her a lot and she is absolutely crazy about me. But she wants to do something in which I am totally against."

Mako would then explain the whole situation regarding the development of the MCD virus. George of course had overhead this conversation earlier but wound pretend this was the first time he had heard about it. As Mako continued to discuss the MCD virus in detail, the two would finally reach the river and Mako wound break down into tears.

"This insanity must be stopped. She will end up killing herself. Her cause is just, but it's far too dangerous. And if Xiz'Jhan gets a hold of it, he will use it with no remorse on anything. He will kill every Sith and Jedi alike when he comes here if he gets his hands on it. If we try and go back using those body swapping devices we have on the Ueshiba, others will know that we are trying to stop the MCD virus from being created. It might not go down well with some crew members. It may course a mutiny for example. However if we could actually really go back, and in a reasonable timeframe, we could have a chance to effectively stop it. The key to this is Qi-Xian Sunrider."

Mako by this stage was still in tears.

"We must convince Kixi against the development of the virus. Only you can do that George."

Mako wound then wrap her arms around George and further plead for his help.

"Please do what you can. I don't want Kixi nor millions of other Force sensitives to die. Please George please."

With the meeting finally over George was slightly relieved. Although he still had a few things troubling his mind. With Kixi heading off to her quarters for some rest it left Mako and George to occupy themselves for the day. Mako suggested a walk along the river, she had a few things she wanted to bounce of George, or so he though. "Sure thats fine, we can go see Nena after if thats okay?" He dearly missed his little Nena and wanted to spend as much time with her as possible whilst he was back.

As they made their way towards the river Mako started talking about the Jedi Qi-Xian Sunrider, the original leader of the House of Sunrider and the first of their people to make the jump into the current Galaxy where Mako, Kixi and George resided. "I have heard of it, Kixi mentioned him when she told me more about herself, but I am at a loss of where to find him also. Beyond what Kixi had said I've never heard of the person. Unless he is going by a different name now?" George pondered as they walked. As she continued she stated she needed to find him in order to get back to her homeland. This was a very emotional thing for Mako, leaving Kixi, but her reasoning hurt the most.

She was very much against Kixi's idea to use the bio weapon against the Sith, destroying too many innocent lives. She broke down in tears as they reached the river and began walking along it. Her plan was a little difficult to understand for George, but he went along with it for now as he wouldn't be directly involved. However she did have one thing to ask of George. He needed to persuade Kixi to stop her plans to use the bio weapon against the Sith, as it could potentially lead to both Kixi's and George's death. Mako pleaded to George to get her to stop as the tears rolled down her eyes, she embraced George pushing her face into George's shoulder. He in returned wrapped his arms around Mako holding her tight. "I will do what I can to stop Kixi, I agree with you. Its too risky and in all fairness it is against what we stand for as Jedi. I will do everything in my power to stop her from proceeding with her plans." George continued to hold Mako trying to calm her down as she was still trying to control her emotions.

Mako simply kept her head on George's shoulder for a little while longer until she finally calmed herself down and stopped with the crying.

"I'm sorry to bring all this on you, but I had to tell someone I could trust. I'm all about peace and love. I don't enjoy seeing living things die, no matter what species or form of life it is."

She then sat down on the grass with her legs folded and asked for George to do the same.

"I would never leave Kixi to return to our homelands assuming it were possible. She would have to come too, thus why she must be convinced. However Kixi isn't all to blame. She is being pressured I believe. That scumbag onboard our ship, Kes En'jusek. She hates me. When Kixi isn't there, I'm in command, but she very much does what she wants. She isn't an official crew member so I'm powerless. Kixi took her in back in the day from before we met. As her personal assassin. She has no need for such vile beings anymore, but has allowed her to remain onboard her ship. In fact Kes doesn't want to leave and helps out with many tasks. Kes constantly is in contact with those back home. With those weird conscious swapping devices. That alone is creepy. If Kixi is convinced that the MCD virus is a bad idea, and I believe she can be, there are those in her circle that will object. Kes being one of them. If something is to be done, it must be done without the knowledge of anyone but us and Kixi."

Mako would then look down to the floor before lifting her head up again and again catching George off guard.

"When we were alone a few times, Kes hit me. It's happened a few times. Kes is a real evil person. She hates anything non human and even with humans has little friends. I've told Braj'tec who had kept everything under control most of the time. He basically protects me against her. Please don't tell this to Kixi as she will absolutely go mental. She will rip Kes apart if she knew. I don't want to whiteness the dark side of Kixi George."

Mako would swallow her throat before finishing what she was saying.

"I want us all to be safe. The MCD virus must be stopped. It's not Kixi's creation, but she nor anyone onboard the Ueshiba must get access to it. If possible it must also be destroyed at the source, because if Xiz'Jhan gets it, we're in very serious trouble George. You need to get this into Kixi's head, and then we need to find Qi-Xian or anyone related to him to even have a chance of getting back to my homeland, and then ridding the universe from such monstrosities as the MCD virus."

[member="Mako Jhasmin Zaneca"] | [member="Kixi Rajki"]

As Mako calmed down she released George before taking a seat on the grass, she motioned for George to do the same, he obliged. As the pair of them sat down Mako went into details of her relationship with Kes, well the abusive hatred between them. George had seen this side of Kes that somehow Kixi had never seen. The narrow minded violent Kes that remained aboard the ship of Kixi under the command of Mako. It must have been tough working along side such a person, but the same as George, Mako had to make do. "Yes, Kes I have met her before. Not one for niceties." George replied, thinking back to the first time they met, the stare he got from her and the unwillingness to help.

"No! She didn't?" George replied, surprised and angered by it. "Kes, she has no right to hit you." George spoke again as he listened to the rest of what Mako had to say, in the end it made sense, why she hadn't told Kixi, but George didn't like it. "I understand where you are coming from, if you tell Kixi then there will be more death. But you need to tell her, you can't continued to let Kes treat you like that, you both are equals, she needs to be brought in line for this." George's opinion of Kes lowered even further, he had seen her kill, he had seen her pure disrespect of him, but the abuse she had pushed upon Mako, unbelievable. George began to wonder how Mako even hid this from Kixi, although of late they hadn't seen in each other all that often. But Mako was right about one thing the virus needed to be ended, stopped above all else. "I know what Lord Xiz'Jhan would do if he had it. Its not pretty." George replied bluntly as he waited for Mako to continue.

As George would speak his kind words to Mako, she felt the comfort of his words from within.

"You are a good man George, I'm glad Kixi chose you as her master. You are a great mentor. You are the best person there is that can guide her and make her into a true warrior of the light. Care and compassion is in her, she just goes around solving things the wrong way, things that could lead her to the terrible dark side. You George are helping to steer her in doing things the correct way, the Jedi way. As for Kes and telling Kixi about her horrid treatment towards me, I agree she needs to know, but only when we can be certain that she will be able to control her emotions. I don't think she is ready yet?"

Mako would then stand and motion for George to do the same. Then the two would slowly head back.

"Let's go see Nena if you please George. She's cute. You will need to speak to Kixi later regarding the MCD virus later when it's just the two of you.I know you overheard us speak about it yesterday. You had the translator in your ear. I didn't forget. I wanted you to hear it so it would make my job in telling you about it today a whole lot easier. So if she asks how you know about it, tell her that. Although she wouldn't do anything to me if she knew I told you. She is over protective of me. I've stuffed things up plenty of times and she just lets it go. She's too over caring for me, however it's the wrong approach. If I screw up, she should tell me rather than just fix up my mess like it never occurred. Otherwise I myself will never learn. Maybe you need to tell he for me in a subtle way when you get a chance."

Mako would chuckle as she spoke the last few words. Soon they would get to where Nena was staying, with the Elders.

As George listened to Mako's works the atmosphere of the conversation turned slightly calmer. The sadness was dissipated and all that was left was goals and advice. Just what everyone needed. "Thank you Mako, I do what I can. I am still learning just as much as she is. However she has came a long way, she like you said has a whole lot of light in her, but I feel her past interprets her problem solving, using what she knows works rather than what she feels is right. But there is still a while to go. I'll do my best to continue to guider her towards the light with everything I can." George replied with a smile. As the two of them stood up it was time to return to the elders and see Nena.

"I'll talk to her later, thank you for informing me, I wasn't too sure how you both felt about it and didn't want to make a mess of it all. As for her over protectiveness, we'll work on that. Something that can only be changed by habit." George replied once more as they walked back into Voss-Ka.

As they returned to the elders George walked through the temple into the elders room. "Greetings all." He spoke with a smile as they all turned with a smile in return looking at George as the little Nautolan came running up past them. "Papa you back!" She yelled as George picked her up. She was growing so quickly. "Yes baby I'm home." He said as he have a big cuddle and a kiss.

Both George and Mako would play with Nena for hours. Nena was by this stage feeling the warmth of being around Mako. Of course she was still far too young to understand what relationships were, and that Mako was infact her auntie Kixi's partner and companion. Speaking of which, Kixi would then enter the room.

"Look it's Aunty Kixi."

Nena would run across to Kixi as Kixi knelt down and allowed Nena to run into her open arms. She would then embrace Nena and then pick her up.

"How have you been, did you miss Aunty Kixi?

Nena would reply in her baby voice that she did. The two always naturally fit well together, despite being of two different species. Kixi would now spend the rest of the day and night with Nena. As would both George and Mako. The time like always just seemed to fly too fast. No one had talked about war or their troubles for the duration of this time. It was simply pure leisure and enjoyment, and quality time spent with baby Nena Ka. Eventually like always it was time to go. The four of them left the Elders and Kixi and Mako walked both George and Nena back to George's quarters.

"That was a very plesant evening everyone."

Kixi would say to everyone as she knelt down and kissed Nena on the forehead..

"Good night my little sweetheart. I'll see you again tomorrow. Many sweet and pleasant dreams."

Kixi would then resume standing up and speak to George.

"Master tomorrow we must give Kajtia her funeral. As we burn our fallen comrades on a pyre, the Ueshiba will be here tomorrow to bring back Kajtia's body. I have decided to conduct the funeral here on Voss, but on the outskirts as to not get in the way of any of the others here. After that, Mako will return back to the Ueshiba and resume command as we part ways again."

Kixi's voice dropped as she said the last part, clearly never happy when she had to leave Mako.

"So therefore Mako and I will be spending some quality time together for the remainder of the night. Just the two of us alone."

After a few more minutes, both Kixi and Mako made their way back to their own quarters where the two would be inseparable for the entire night and engage in intimate activities.

It was a great night spent with great company. Kixi, Mako, Nena and George definitely enjoyed relaxing and just playing around with little Nena. Everyone could tell she enjoyed herself and enjoyed the attention. Something George had lacked in giving her over the past few months whilst he was deployed. However the night felt like it would never end. Until it did, at which time it seemed like they had spent so little time together that night, as it went just too fast.

"Night Aunty Kixi." Little Nena replied with a huge smile, grabbing Kixi around the neck, giving her a big hug as they said good-bye. As Nena let go Kixi stood back up and turned to George. "That is fine with me. Enjoy the rest of your night. I'll see you tomorrow." George replied as he Nautolan continued to hold little Nena's hand. As Kixi finished though George could hear the hurt in her voice. George could understand though, it was always tough for him to leave Nena with the elders while he was away. Although as she grew older she was beginning to understand a little more, and with each passing day she would too join George on the front lines. If she so desired.

The next morning Kixi awoke early. She had a huge smile on her face as she saw and felt Mako's warmth next to her. Kixi would get up slowly and kiss the sleeping Mako on the forehead. It was still early so Mako could sleep in a little while longer. Kixi slowly readied herself and ate a small breakfast. She would prep something for Mako who would soon wake up. Eventually both would fully ready themselves for the day ahead. Kajtia's funeral. Although this wasn't expected take all day. Kixi and Mako would then meet up with George, and using a land speeder would make their way to the outer fringes of Voss. George didn't bring Nena Ka, as it was best not to bring a child of such a young age to a funeral.

As the three got to their destination, the crew of the Ueshiba had perpaired the pyre and placed Kajtia's body on it. Only Braj'tec, Petrah, Kes, Zasalamel and a few others were present. Kixi would soon after bid her friend goodbye, light up the pyre and not long after the whole ceremony would be over. Around an hour had passed and then it was then time to leave. The crew would return to the Ueshiba. This would include Mako too, as both Kixi and Mako gave each other a huge hug and long kiss.

"Take care baby. I'll come back and visit soon and keep in contact."

Kixi and Mako would smile at one another as they eventually went their separate ways. Kixi would then walk back to George who awaited her on the speeder to get back. Kixi's body expression said it all. She didn't even need to comment on how much it was hurting her to have to be apart from Mako again. George simply knew as they then sped off into the distance.

As the sun rose Nena did too. The little one came running in jumping up on George's bed waking him from his slumber. "Ahh what..." George replied as the youngling crawled over him whilst she laughed. "Oh yes good morning to you too." George said to the little girl as she squirmed around. George grabbed her by the arm and pulled her up to him so he could give her a big hug. She laughed and struggled as he did so. "Don't be so silly Papa." She said as she laughed uncontrollably. As George stopped he let go of her and she was free to move about the bed. "Wanna go get some breaky?" The blue Nautolan asked as he lay in bed still. The little girl sat cross legged and nodded in agreement. "Alright you go through to and I'll be out shortly to cook you up a nice breaky." With that Nena crawled off the bed and slipped into the other room, waiting patiently for George to follow.

As George got out of bed he put his jedi robes on and prepared himself to leave shortly after breakfast. As George went out into the kitchen he was greeted by little Nena sitting in her chair waiting patiently for her breakfast. "Papa wheres breaky?" The little one asked, her patients was good, but running out. "Here it is." George replied with a chuckle as he grabbed two bowls, some milk and the cereal. This was his five star breakfast of the morning. As he poured it out into the two bowls he and Nena sat opposite each other chomping down on the wheat filled goodness. "Are you alright to go with the elders today? Papa has some business to attend with, but he will come pick you up later. Auntie Kixi might even be there too." George spoke to the little girl, not too sure if she understood everything, but it seemed as though she did. "Okay Papa." She replied as she nodded her head.

After breakfast George dropped her off with the elders before heading off to see Kixi and Mako before heading out of Voss-Ka for the funeral. It took 10 or so minutes to reach the outskirts of the city by speeder with Mako and Kixi on behind him. The funeral itself only lasted for about an hour with only a few select members of Kixi's crew invited to the ceremony. It was short, but it was sweet. A beautiful send off to what seemed to be a dear friend of Kixi.

As it ended Kixi and Mako once again had to part ways. George was set up on the speeder bike waiting for Kixi and her crew was already aboard the Ueshiba waiting for Mako. As they said their goodbyes once more Kixi turned and walked back to George, her face telling a thousand words. Majority of them saying 'Don't go', 'I love you' for the departing Mako. It was sad, but George knew something that would make her smile again. They headed off back into Voss-Ka for the remainder of the day.

As George and Kixi headed back towards Voss-Ka, Kixi couldn't help but notice that George was holding something in. Like as if he wanted to tell her something but didn't know how.

"You seem awfully quiet Master. I can already tell you want to tell me something, so why don't you just spill out the beans already?."

Kixi just wasn't in the mood for games. Sure they were about to go and see Nena which was something that always brought a smile to Kixi's face, but the truth of the matter was simple. Kixi hated the fact that she couldn't be with Mako all of the time. She longed for the day where the both of them could go on missions together. Although one thing she did learn was very true. That absence makes the heart grow fonder.

As they rode back into the Voss-Ka Kixi must have picked up George's slightly happy attitude, not to say that Kixi wasn't so. But she wasn't exactly herself after having to say good-bye to her lover once more. Kixi question George as to why he was happy. "Little Nena Kixi, little Nena. She'll make it all better again." Trying to lift the woman's spirit a little, but he doubt it would have worked.

Not long after the two of them arrived back in Voss-Ka, it was time to get pick up Nena after having her staying with the elders for much of the morning.

After George and Kixi had arrived back on Voss-Ka, the two went and picked up Nena and soon after took her for a walk. Kixi would play with her and do her best to smile and be cheerful when the young child looked at her, however it was evidently obvious that her mind was elsewhere. As Nena ran off a few metres towards a flock of birds, Kixi would just stare at little Nena before turning back at George.

"I so feel like killing every Sith alive, starting with those occupying her and of course your own home world."

Kixi would then squat down and face the returning Nena as she ran into Kixi's arms and then lift her up and hold her in her arms.

"And especially for you little one. Wipe out every slime bucket Sith."

Nena would just giggle as Kixi spoke, clearly not having any idea of what Kixi was on about. Kixi would then put her down again as Nena was keen to run around up and down on her own a little.

"And further more, Mako needs to be trained up in the elite martial arts and as an elite fighter. Stuff like Teras Kasi for example. We could even give her some implants to help give her an edge since her Force abilities are extremely limited. I so yearn for the day when I can have her by my side more often than never."

Kixi would then rub her hand across her heart area and close her eyes for a few seconds as if wanting to enter a deep state of meditation. Then she would resume just watching Nena play. Although it would be a hard day to get any real smiles out of Kixi.

As they walked with Nena it was evident that Kixi wasn't as happy as she seemed for Nena. As she turned to George she seemed a little enraged. "We all hate the Sith, we all wish they would disappear. But we have to have hope that not all are an enemy. For those who both killed my parents and Nena's I will have revenge on one day. But we can not bring all Sith under one banner, its too much hate to handle. Just think you had the chance to eradicate another Sith and you chose not to... There was something about it, more than just your vision and we both know it." George replied, his minding rambling with the confusion he had just caused himself. His own hatred of the Sith stemmed from his own childhood and his own parents being killed before him, however as the years went by and with subjects like Krux turning from the dark to the light it was all but known that things do change. George wished he could one day overcome his hatred. It was doubtful but a dream.

As Nena came running back Kixi spoke to her. The little giggle that escaped her mouth detailed the innocence in her heart. Knowing not of what had happened to her parents and the sadness caused.

As Kixi let Nena go once more she changed the subject slightly, now over to Mako. Kixi wanted to teach Mako Martial Arts. Train her to defend herself, especially against the threat of the Sith and the coming attack on their homeland from Lord Xiz`Jhan. Something George knew would happen eventually. "I do agree, Mako does need training. But if you want to be the one to teach her you will have to stop treating her like lover, and more as a student, this means pulling her up when she does something wrong. Not just letting it go. She will not learn this way. You must show her love, but be fierce and strong in the defence of your learning techniques." George sneakily added the thoughts of Mako into it hoping it would thus change her opinion on the way she treated the screw ups of Mako.

As George explained the situation with the Sith and that not all are their enemy, he did point out that Kixi herself let one go when she had had the chance to end her.

"Well I guess you're right, it was more than a vision. I felt compassion for her. She was just a kid. I so didn't want to end her. She was only a little more than a decade older than Nena here. Scary given that Nena herself could've ended up on the same path as Alexis had we not rescued her."

Kixi then turned to face George again.

"It's hard to not treat Mako as my lover. But then again how are we supposed to fight side by side if all I can think of when with her are other things. I admit that I've seen it in her eyes. That she doesn't want me to constantly spoon feed her. I guess by closing my eyes on her errors all the time that I'm doing her no justice. If something happens to her however it will be my fault if she isn't brought up to scratch with training. I will have Braj'tec train her when I'm away, and I'll train her when we're together."

Kixi then turned around as Nena came back to Kixi. Kixi would then extend her arm to her and both Nena and Kixi would hold hands as the two of them plus George continued their walk.

"Exactly Kixi, the young do not deserve to die. There is still the chance of being saved. Don't write off all Sith, some are just given the wrong information." George hoped what he said was true as he had wanted to kill most Sith who came into his presence, but hadn't killed all that many, well in comparison to how many he had met. It was still sunny as they walked down by the river. Calming, soothing just what they all needed.

"I understand where you are coming from, that is why I want you to be Nena's Master. If I were to do it, I feel as though I would get too involved, protecting her. I feel you being close, but not too close will be able to push her, safely without my intervention." George tried to put himself into her situation, although it was always going to be a different. But he tried his best to understand her problems. "Mako will love you all the same, no matter what. However making her a better person might even make her love you more. You need to push out of that comfort zone you are both in and let mistakes be made and solutions be found." George's mighty speech wound up as the day grew old. So much sadness mixed with little splotches of happiness, the best he could do after the day that was.
